[[folder:Roose]]
!!Roose Bolton
->'''Played by:''' N/A

The Warden of the North after the Red Wedding. He is a terrifying overlord who is the liegelord to the Forrester's traditional rivals.
----
* BadBoss: Everyone expects the Boltons to come down heavily on House Forrester. They're right.
* TheDreaded: Everybody is frightened of their new Warden of the North, and with good reason when he decides to let [[AxCrazy Ramsay]] off his leash.
* EvilOverlord: Roose is the most powerful man in the North after the Red Wedding.
* TheGhost: Doesn't appear in the game, but is spoken of often.
* GreaterScopeVillain: As one of the masterminds behind the Red Wedding and the new Warden of the North, he is one of the main catalysts for House Forrester's dire straits, liegelord to the Whitehills, and a very important character in the overall Game Of Thrones setting. However, he makes no physical appearances here, leaving the aforementioned Whitehills to serve as the main direct threat to House Forrester. The most direct thing he does is send [[TheDragon Ramsay]] to do his dirty work.
* KlingonPromotion: How he became the Warden of the North.
* PragmaticVillainy: While he has a [[TheDreaded dire reputation]], he is also known to be [[SoftSpokenSadist reasonable and rational]]. This leads Maester Ortengryn to believe that house Forrester can secure his protection by [[CutLexLuthorACheck appealing to his self-interest]]. Ortengryn, like many at this point in time, was not so familiar with his AxeCrazy BastardBastard of a son...

!!Ramsay Snow
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ramsay_telltale_game_of_thrones.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:350:"I'm told you're a man who can't be broken. I've decided to come see for myself."]]
->'''Played by:''' Creator/IwanRheon

The illegitimate son of Roose Bolton and his representative in the North. [[TheDreaded Ramsay is a terrifying figure]] everyone knows is a psychopath and murderer.
----
* AxCrazy: He's introduced in a scene where he flays a man alive for not recognizing the Boltons as the new Wardens of the North.
* BadBoss: Kills Ethan no matter what the boy does. Even if he's a loyal Bannerman.
** He's literally instructs the Forresters and Whitehills to fight to the death, not caring at all which side wins (not even the Whitehills).
* BadassBoast: He's a monster - there's no doubt about it - but he knows it and lets Rodrik know he means business when they meet at the end of Episode 4.
-->'''Ramsay:''' I'm told you're a man who can't be broken.''I've decided to come see for myself.''
* BastardBastard: He's an illegitimate child, hence the "Snow" surname, and he has an abundance of negative traits.
* BerserkButton: Like in the show, insinuating his status as a bastard ticks him off, if the TranquilFury DeathGlare that he gives to Ludd is of any indication.
* CutLexLuthorACheck: The Maester's solution for dealing with Ramsay. Oddly, it's the only one which actually does any good as pointing out the Forresters are simply a much better investment allows them to keep half their land. This is compared to Ramsay's original plan to just put the Whitehills in charge. Not that it does much good for Ethan.
* DeadpanSnarker: Ramsay's tongue is as sharp as his knife, which makes him a wonderful source of BlackComedy. Most of his jibes are meant to intimidate Ethan, though he throws plenty [[TheFriendNobodyLikes Lord Whitehill's]] way too.
* DoomedByCanon: In a different manner than usual. Those up to date with the show will know [[spoiler: the Forresters won't ever get their revenge on him because he is fated to be defeated by Jon Snow in the Battle of the Bastards and then gruesomely executed by Sansa Stark - and his death isn't far away.]]
* TheDragon: Serves this role for Roose Bolton.
* TheDreaded: Everyone ''knows'' Ramsay is bad news. Every time someone speaks of him, it comes with a noticeable fear in their voice.
* FauxAffablyEvil: Ramsay is in top form in Episode One. He's in full SoftSpokenSadist mode for much of his screentime, with a mask of condescending politeness throughout almost all of his interactions with the Forresters. At the end, he waltzes out of their hall, saying that they should get together and "do this again sometime!" Oh, and this is ''seconds'' after he murders Ethan in cold blood and kidnaps Ryon.
* TheHeavy: Since Roose is unseen, Ramsay does pretty much all of the heavy lifting in his capacity as Roose's dragon.
* HiddenDepths: While you wouldn't think it, Ramsay is surprisingly sharp about a lot of things, including the fact House Whitehill would destroy Ironwood forests within a few years and can't produce anything near the craftmanship level of the Forresters. Indeed, only killing Ethan, leaving a garrison, and taking a hostage is positively ''merciful'' by his usual standards.
* IHaveYouNowMyPretty: He takes - or at least ''pretends'' to take - an interest in Talia in the worst possible way.
* {{Jerkass}}: AxCrazy tendicies aside, he's also a total dick to ''everyone''.
* KarmaHoudini: Thanks to being SavedByCanon, it's a ForegoneConclusion that Ramsay will survive the game and the Forresters will never get their revenge on him. [[spoiler: However, due to the time-frame in which the series takes place, he does not have a high number of days left.]]
* KickTheDog: Flaying a man alive in his first scene. Killing Ethan at the end of Episode 1. Indeed, his entire ''negotiation'' with House Forrester is one long string of dog-kicking moments.
* KickTheSonOfABitch: He abandons the Whitehills to deal with the rebellious Forresters, not to mention the snark that he makes at Ludd's expense during his "negotiation" with Ethan. Of course, the Whitehills are no saints themselves.
* InkSuitActor: An attempt was made to do this.
* ObviouslyEvil: Even without the constant SlasherSmile and the introductory flaying scene, he's still the slimiest character in both appearance and mannerisms.
* PragmaticVillainy: Shows this when he ''only'' kills one of the Forresters, takes a hostage, and leaves behind a garrison. The Forresters are too valuable to the Boltons to dispose of ''en masse''. He later states he's fed up with the rivalry between the Forresters and the Whitehills and will no longer take sides, deciding to let them fight it out and deal with the survivor rather than waste his time "babysitting" them.
* PutOnABus: He seems to have left the story of the game after the first episode. Justified as he is a character from the show. [[TheBusCameBack He returns]] for the ending of the Fourth Episode and plagues the Fifth. God help us all.
* {{Sadist}}: Ramsay revels in cruelty and the pain that he brings to others.
* SavedByCanon: Being a major antagonist in the show, there's unfortunately no chance of him getting his comeuppance here. [[spoiler:Not at the hands of the Forresters anyway.]]
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: In Episode 5, after Ramsay puts some fear into Rodrik and Talia by torturing Arthur to death, he ultimately decides to bow out of the conflict between the Forresters and the Whitehills entirely, preferring to let the last house standing win.
* SlasherSmile: Seemingly his default facial expression.
* TheSociopath: Ramsey is a cheerfully sadistic person who maims, tortures, and kills as much on a whim as for his own twisted enjoyment.
* TortureTechnician: A hobby of Ramsay's, as we find out.
* VillainRespect: Has one for Rodrik [[spoiler:should he die at the hands of the Whitehills]] for refusing to bend the knee to them despite all the abuse they put him through.
* WorthyOpponent: If Ethan is defiant, Ramsay notes that he's a "bold/brave little lord"...before stabbing him in the neck and leaving him to bleed out in his mother's arms. A "bold/brave little lord" is dangerous and hard to control after all.
* WouldHurtAChild: Kills Ethan on a whim at the end of Episode 1 and hands over Ryon to Lord Whitehill as a hostage with the express order to kill the boy should the Forresters cause any trouble.
* YouGotSpunk: After torturing [[spoiler:Arthur Glenmore]] nearly to death, Ramsay places a knife in Rodrik's hand and dares the Forrester to try and kill him. If Rodrik attacks, Ramsay easily overpowers him, but is amused/impressed Rodrik had the nerve to try.
