* ChristmasCake: Inverted; she had the ''opposite'' problem. As she tells Durwood, this it the reason most wrestling divas retire young, but in her case, due to a moon elf's longevity, her youthful looks and beauty simply lasted too long, and people started to get suspicious. To save face (and stop the rumors of cosmetic surgery going around) she let the greatest match of her career (with her greatest rival) also be her most humiliating defeat, and then retired (out of shame, in the storyline). She hopes to return to it someday, likely under a new identity.

* BeYourself: Why she claims she's a hired gun; it's what she's ''good'' at.
* CombatPragmatist: It doesn't matter if you beat her in a duel, she'll kill you anyway. It seems like she only duels to lull a victim into a false sense of security.

[[folder: Introduced in the original fic]]

!!Matron Drizerra
-----
* AscendedExtra: Only makes a cameo in the original fic but has a more active role in ''Power Primordial''.
* ClockworkCreature: Uses an Ancient Gear deck.
* EnemyMine: With the ophidia against the Neo Domino Shadowchasers.
* [[spoiler: FateWorseThanDeath[=/=]KilledOffForReal: Disappears to unknown parts after she loses to Shichiro. It is assumed she was sacrificed in the ritual duel she and Shichiro partook in so it's unknown if she really is dead.]]
* {{Matriarchy}}: As per dark elf tradition.
* [[SignatureMove Signature Card]]: Ancient Gear Golem and later [[spoiler: Underground Arachne]]
* TheStarscream: When she was about fourteen, she assassinated the previous leader of the dark elves - her own mother - in a very public act of betrayal and took over leadership afterwards. It's been noted that, while this is common for dark elves, this was considered unusual for one so young as herself at that time.

!!Albert and Vincent
-----
* AustralianWildlife: Albert uses a Koala deck during his duel with Shichiro, which was almost an exact copy of Hayato Maeda's deck. During the duel, he says that he wanted to see whether or not Hayato was a bad duelist or a bad deckbuilder. Shichiro believes it to be the former after Albert makes a misplay which costs him the advantage he had at that point.
* BashBrothers
* BeastOfBattle: Vincent uses a Beast deck during his duel with Mistle.
* BigEater: Albert, anyway. He talks about food ''a lot'', and when he says that being around fish makes him hungry, Vincent remarks that "''Breathing'' makes you hungry...".
* ALoadOfBull: Both of them are minotaurs.
* MechanicalLifeforms: Vincent uses Machine monsters during the tag duel against Ember and Jinx.
* MuggingTheMonster: According to their backstory, this is how they met [=DaPen=]. Unlike most examples of this Trope, it worked out to their benefit, because he not only spared their lives, he offered them jobs.
* PettingZoopeople: Albert uses Beast Warrior monsters during the tag duel against Ember and Jinx.
* [[SignatureMove Signature Card]]: Beast Machine King Barbaros Ur during the tag duel. Master of Oz for Albert during his duel with Shichiro and Behemoth the King of All Animals for Vincent during his duel with Mistle.
* ThoseTwoBadGuys: They are both bodyguards to Louis [=DaPen=].

!!Boggart
----
* ArchEnemy: To Jinx in the original fic.
* AmbiguousGender: Despite taking the appearance of the female Jinx.
* ImposterForgotOneDetail: While running from Jinx, it disguises itself as a statue of Darth Vader in a wax museum. Jinx is quick to notice something wrong when she notices the Vader statue wielding a ''green'' lightsaber.
* InstantAwesomeJustAddDragons: Uses a Dragon deck spearheaded by F.G.D. during its second and final duel with Jinx.
* [[spoiler: KilledOffForReal: After its second duel with Jinx.]]
* ManIFeelLikeAWoman: If its satisfaction over copying Jinx's body is any indication.
* MirrorMatch: Its first duel with Jinx involves it using a Gamble deck similar to hers.
* NoNameGiven
* {{Unperson}}: In both of its duels with Jinx, it aims on removing the original from existence so that it can take her place.
** It does tell her it has no ability to alter the past, and that her history will not be forgotten if that happens. Ironically, this is why she refuses to surrender in the second duel; she doesn't want to be remembered as someone who gave up.

[[folder: Introduced in ''Risen Nemesis'']]

!!Jin Alphonse
-----
* GeniusBruiser: Even moreso when you consider that he's an ogre; compared to most of them, he's Einstein.
* NeverGetsDrunk: Well, yes, he can get drunk, but in one scene where he is in a bar, it is implied that ogres can hold their liquor far better than most creatures. (Being the size they are helps.)
* {{Samurai}}: The theme of his deck.
* UndyingLoyalty: Towards his master due to him saving his life when he was in the brink of death in the past.
* WouldntHitAGirl: Seems to be the case, which makes him surprised and shocked after he attacks Ace (which he apologizes for the next time they meet, though to be fair due to Ace's clothing and brashness, he had no idea that she was a girl in the first place).

!!Elrod Purvis
-----
* HalfHumanHybrid: Is half-ophidia. Which is something he is ''not'' happy about one bit.

!!Rowen Price
-----
* AlwaysSomeoneBetter: He sees his younger sister as this, as she succeeded better than him in his respective fields.
* BerserkButton: Being called an "emo elf".
* ButtMonkey
* [[spoiler: HeelFaceTurn: After he loses to Jack during the climax of ''Risen Nemesis'', he decides to assist him in rescuing Mira.]]
* SummoningRitual: Is a summoner and has summoned beings from another world at least thrice in ''Risen Nemesis''. [[spoiler: By the end of the fic, it is shown that his summoning license seemed to have expired.]]
* UnderwearOfPower: Uses an Ojama Deck.
* VitriolicBestBuds: With Jack to some extent.

!!Envie
-----
* ArchEnemy: She and Envies are general are this to Barron, due to an unfortunate incident that involved his older sister in the past because of another Envie.
* BigWhat: Her reaction when Barron [[spoiler: declares that he's going to steal her Dark God deck after he defeats her during the Traingle Duel.]]
* [[spoiler: KilledOffForReal: After Barron destroys the necklace that sustains her.]]
* NoNameGiven: She never has a name given to her throughout ''Risen Nemesis'' and is always referred to by everyone else as ''Envie''.
* [[SignatureMove Signature Card]]: The Allure Queen monsters in her duel with Hyde and Dark God during the Triangle Duel between her, Barron and a brainwashed Naoto.
* SoulJar: The necklace that she seems to wear. [[spoiler: After Naoto breaks free from her control and defeats her, Barron destroys her necklace, killing her.]]
* VainSorceress: She even uses the Allure Queen monsters, who are also this.

!!Ravel Darkquill
A night hag who [[spoiler: was the one who originally took Leorin's mortality away from him which made him immortal when he wanted more time to repent for running away when he was the general of St. Cuthbert's army]]
-----
* InstitutionalApparel: She's ''so'' nuts, that when her henchmen suggest she change out of the prison-issue jumpsuit she was wearing after she escapes, she waits for a while, claiming she's "kinda grown fond of it". (This becomes kind of... gross when you realize it's likely been awhile since it's been washed.) She does change out of it before she confronts Ben, however.
* [[HotWitch Hot Witches]]: While her Fortune Lady deck qualifies, she certainly doesn't.
* [[spoiler: KilledOffForReal: Is shot by Hape before she can tell Ben more about himself.]]
* [[spoiler: TakingYouWithMe: After her attempts to convince and force Ben to join her both fail, this is her final attempt; she threatens to activate the Bringer of Doom, killing everyone present, herself included, unless he submits. Fortunately, she is shot by Hape before she can do so.]]
* VillainousCrush: Towards Ben.
* WeCanRuleTogether: She makes this offer to Ben. When he refuses, she tries to force him.
* WickedWitch

[[folder: Introduced in ''City of Angels'']]

!!Ankoku
The Bride of the Howling Gale, and one of its two rulers. (Their queen, more or less.)
-----
* AffablyEvil: Mostly. She ''is'' royalty, ''and'' from the orient.
* AnOfferYouCantRefuse: She offers to duel Jerian in order for him to prove his worth to her, promising to divulge information if he does. (The alternative is fighting her and her servants, which would likely be suicidal.)
* AuthorityEqualsAsskicking: It is suggested that this is quite common among the leadership of the Yokai Clans.
* BigBadassBirdOfPrey: She ''is'' one (as is all of the Howling Gale) and uses a bigger one as a mount, functioning like a D-Wheel.
* BlowYouAway: Ah, yeah… She is a Wind Spirit.
* CrypticConversation: Upon losing to Jerian, the information she gives is a very obscure hint to Vladimir's motivation:
-->'''Ankoku:''' What Vladimir desires above all else, is to restore the ancient law of this world, the creed by which all living things have lived and died by since the dawn of time.
** In retrospect, that’s a pretty accurate description of Social Darwinism, which is indeed Vlad’s goal.
* DarkActionGirl
* EverythingsSparklyWithJewelry: According to Jerian, she wears “enough jewelry to fill a Jared's”.
* GodSaveUsFromTheQueen: Subverted, sort of. She’s well-liked by her own subjects, but very much feared by other races. (Also subverted in that she’s subordinate to the Lord of the Howling Gale, but still commands a great deal of authority.)
* ItMayHelpYouOnYourQuest: Possibly. She gives Jerian her copy of Another Road at the end of the chapter; exactly why or whether it will have any use to him is not yet known.
* KimonoIsTraditional: And she wears a green one, to symbolize Wind.
* ScrewTheRulesIHaveConnections: She doesn’t actually break any rules during the duel, but her status does give her access to some of the most powerful cards in the game (with effects that let her use two Field Spells at once and ignore the summoning conditions of NOMI Monsters) and she flaunts the fact that she has them.
* {{Yokai}}: [[CaptainObvious Duh.]]

* SharpDressedMan
* WouldHurtAChild: During his duel with Karen wherein he does things not only to win but to make her suffer and it's clear that he enjoys it. (Karen gets the last laugh in the end though).

!!Ibza
-----
* ClockworkCreature: Runs a Karakuri deck.
* ItAmusedMe: [[spoiler: He claims that this is the reason why neither he nor Mephistopheles bothered to stop the triangle duel between Jalie, Jeb, and Ophelia, and why no steps were taken against Jalie until it was over. (He does not say this until he's sure there is nothing between him and his portal back to Cania, which proves to be a wise decision.)]]
* KarmaHoudini: [[spoiler:Not only does he get away with everything he's done while working for Jalie, he gets promoted to one of the highest ranks a devil can achieve. The heroes express how sickened they are by their insane system.]]
* [[spoiler: TheStarscream: When it becomes clear that Jalie's plan is going to fail, he tells Mephistopheles about Jalie's plans which gets himself a promotion to pit-fiend in the process. (Given how the politics of Hell works, it seems that ''every'' devil with a degree of intelligence is a potential Starscream, and is willing to double-cross its superior in order to move a step up on the infernal ladder of the hierarchy.)]]
* PutOnABus: [[spoiler: Due to his promotion to pit-fiend, he has to spend several years bathing in the Pit of Flame in order for his transformation. As a result, it is unlikely that the Shadowchasers will be seeing him anytime soon.]]
* VillainousRescue: [[spoiler: He rescues Dante from the interior of the Hellfire Sentinel before it explodes. His reasoning is that Dante was a big part of him being granted a promotion, and he then tells Jalal that he'll consider it "even" between them.]]

!!Rule-Of-Three
A cambion [[spoiler: working for the DemonLord Graz'zt]] and the embodiment of the universal axiom that states that things in the universe usually come in groups of three.
-----
* AffablyEvil: Acts polite towards [[spoiler: Red Feather and Penelope]] while acting as their jailer and doesn't use threats when he asks Ophelia to leave; rather he asks her politely.
* ChaoticEvil: InUniverse - he's on that end of the spectrum in the trio.
* [[spoiler: ILied: Clearly, he never intended to honor his side of the bargain and let Red Feather and Penelope go if he lost the duel; however, it was hardly unexpected (as Ophelia put it, "it couldn't have been more obvious if his pants were on fire".) Fortunately for them, Ophelia wasn't being truthful either: Dueling him was her idea of stalling until Dante and Jeb could arrive.]]
* OneWingedAngel: His usual form is that of a slightly fiendish-looking old man; however, his true form is a hulking, monstrous, demonic brute. (Possibly making him a GeniusBruiser, given his reputation as an advisor.)
* RuleOfThree: True to his namesake, he always asks for three things in exchange for his services. He also uses a Gate Guardian deck that focus on a trio of monsters.
* {{Shapeshifter}}: He seems to be able to assume various humanoid forms, like the hunchbacked human that he appeared as while acting as a jailer. It doesn't fool Lorelei however; being a cambion herself, it's easy for her to recognize another.
* [[SignatureMove Signature Card]]: Gate Guardian and Grand Majin Guardian, a retrained Xyz version of Gate Guardian.
* [[RuleOfSymbolism Symbolic Character]]: He is the embodiment of the universal axiom that he is named after, that in a perfect universe, things tend to come in threes, and that three is the most ideal number.
* {{Telepathy}}: An ability common to demons that he is able to use. [[spoiler: He uses it to try to convince Lorelei to help him cheat in his duel with Ophelia, as she is able to answer him using her own talent at it. She refuses.]]

!!Franct the Sheep Eater (real name Frantisek Ironfoot)
-----
* BadBoss: The owner of a large ranching operation in Australia, he has been suspected to arrange for "accidents" that have killed not only rival ranchers, but his own employees as well.
* CorruptCorporateExecutive: According to Jalal, some people describe him as the "type of guy who would employ a gang of leg-breakers and open a store that sold crutches in the same city". He sees nothing wrong with selling his wares to the armies of Hell in order to make a profit.
* IGaveMyWord: Dwarves ''never'' break their word, not even evil ones, and Fract is no exception, so while he could have easily given them a false gate key after losing the duel to Dante, he keeps his promise and gives them the real one that leads to the extradimensional jail where [[spoiler:Penelope and Red Feather]] are being held. (However, he does, [[spoiler:[[LoopholeAbuse "forget" to tell them]] that it only lets ''one'' person through, and they don't find out that until Ophelia has passed through alone, leaving her to deal with Rule-of-Three by herself until they can find two additional ones.]]
* IrritationIsTheSincerestFormOfFlattery: In his duel against Ophelia, he uses several cards used by Vladimir Bloodletter (the notorious main antagonist in ''City of Angels'', who supposedly outdueled Jalal), thinking they make him intimidating. They do not. The Shadowchasers see him as nothing but a poser.
* OlympusMons: The ace cards of his deck (given to him by Jalie) are special Dragon-Type Synchro Monsters that are the liknesses of five incredibly powerful male dragons that serve Tiamat as consorts. Not truly gods, but close.
* [[SignatureMove Signature Card]]: His Consorts of Tiamat Synchros.
* SoreLoser: Emphasis on "loser". After he loses to Ophelia, he draws a knife from his belt and makes a rush at her. Ophelia responds by flooring him with one punch.

!!Victor
-----
* [[spoiler: KilledOffForReal: Is incinerated with Hellfire by Jalie for his failure to defeat Jeb.]]
* MarionetteMaster: Uses a Carionette deck when he duels Jeb in Jalie's fortress.
* MechanicalLifeforms: Used a Wind-Up deck in his first (on-screen) duel with Jeb.
* UnknownRival: To Jeb. It is clear that Victor wants to get even with him and that they have met before, but it's also clear that Jeb dislikes dealing with him.

!!Malanus, Xon, and Novolar
Jalie's co-advisors and his most trusted minions.
-----
* AnIcePerson: Like Jalie, Malanus is capable of casting the Investment of Cania spell which he does during his duel with Ophelia. Unlike the time Jalie casted it however, he makes it so that it freezes Ophelia the more she loses Life Points.
* CoDragons: Although it is hinted that Jalie favors Novolar the most due to her being his oldest living servant and his consort before he became a lich.
* EarlyBirdCameo: In-universe example. During his duel with Jeb, Xon [[spoiler: summons Number 17: Leviathan Dragon that he pulled from an [[Anime/YuGiOhZexal alternate future timeline.]] Which is incredibly dangerous because he is bringing it out before its intended time. Because only a Number can defeat another Number, (the one exception Cyber Commander makes in his fics regarding the official rules) Unity-of-Rings lends to Jeb Number 39: Utopia only for the duel.]]
* EldritchAbomination: Xon. In fact, abomination is a catch-all term for the type of creature he is, an ill-conceived mistake created by a god or similar entity, possessing divine spark and a malignant nature.
* EvilIsNotAToy: Unity-of-Rings has this sort of reaction when Xon [[spoiler: summons Number 17: Leviathan Dragon after pulling it from an [[Anime/YuGiOhZexal alternate future timeline]], claiming that using it before it was truly time for the Numbers to appear on Earth could cause a disaster. He is able to do the same with Number 39: Utopia and gives it to Jeb hoping to avert such a disaster, as he was able to briefly glipse the future duel where the two Numbers clashed, and hopes that it is capable of defeating Leviathan. (''Hopes'' because he did not see the complete duel, and didn't see how it ended.)]]
* EvilVersusEvil: It is no secret that all three of them detest each other, and Jalie is just fine with that. In fact, it is implied that in the politics of Hell, powerful devils prefer to have their top enforcers hating each other, because it lessens the chances that they will cooperate long enough to be a serious risk to your position.
* [[spoiler:EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: Novolar seems to have at least ''some'' concern for Castalla, who Jalie punished via demotion to nupperibo form for failure, considered a FateWorseThanDeath by devils. Not enough to consider disobeying Jalie, although he did offer her a concession, promising to simply hold her somewhere and reverse the process once his plans succeeded; most nupperibo are used as the lowliest of Mooks and don't survive long.]]
* FauxAffablyEvil: Malanus initially acts polite and well-mannered during his duel with Ophelia, but it is only an act and he later drops it when Ophelia gets the upper hand.
* FusionDance: [[spoiler: Novolar uses "The Wicked Calamity" - a fusion of the three Wicked Gods during her duel with Dante.]]
* HornyDevils: Novolar. She initially attempts to seduce Dante before dealing with him the natural way.
* MrsRobinson: If you're into that, Novolar qualifies as this by default, considering she's actually [[spoiler: the mother of Castalla, another temptress devil that confronted Dante earlier on in ''Ascension''. In fact, if such a scenario were to occur with a brachina, it is ''very'' likely that her daughter (the proverbial "Elaine") would be an accessory to her scheme.]] Of course, seeing as both brachina and erinyes ''intentially'' [[HotAsHell try to seduce men to claim their souls]], this would be a technically, for any of them that have a daughters; as seducers, there are no members of these subspecies of devils who are unattractive.
* NiceJobFixingItVillain: Malanus does this, but it's subtle. [[spoiler: His ace card is Blood Mefist, which acts as an aspect of Mephistopheles, the archdevil that Jalie ultimately answers to, who clearly would not have approved of Jalie's plan. When Ophelia wins the duel by destroying Blood Mefist, it causes Mephisopheles to have a nagging feeling for the first time that something is amiss...]]
* OlympusMons: Xon has an alternate version of Orichalcos Shunuros (which is actually the real-life version of the card that he pulled from an alternate past wherein Yugi's duel with Dartz turned out differently) and Novolar's deck which contains all three Wicked Gods [[spoiler: as well as a fusion of the three.]]
* RapidAging: During his duel with Jeb, Xon makes the Shadow Game they're in in a way that each time they lose Life Points, they get older. Jeb points out the unfairness of this, seeing as Xon won't even feel the effects of this trope while he will.
* [[SignatureMove Signature Card]]: Blood Mefist for Malanus, [[spoiler: Number 17: Leviathan Dragon]] for Xon, and [[spoiler: The Wicked Calamity]] for Novolar.
* {{Stripperific}}: Novolar's attire is nothing but lingerie. (Of course, given that she's a temptress devil, it's probably standard attire for her.)
* TerribleTrio
* WhatIf: Xon has the ability to see the different and alternate timelines that can and might've happened. Being affiliated with the forces of Hell, he specializes in studying ones with bad outcomes.

!![[spoiler: Duke Belphagon]]
-----
* [[spoiler: ChekhovMIA: Is mentioned earlier on in ''Ascension'' as Jalie's rival and doesn't make an appearance until the end of the fic. (Pretty much everyone who had heard of him assumed that he was dead. This was only [[NotQuiteDead partially true]], it seemed.]]
* [[spoiler: EarlyBirdCameo: His Photon deck considering the events of this fic happen ''way'' before the events of Anime/YuGiOhZexal.]]
* [[spoiler: HopelessBossFight: Due to the defense mechanism Jalie implanted on the Hellfire Sentinel, ''any'' chance of stopping him turns into this. As when confronted he will give the intruder two choices: combat or Duel Monsters, both options are impossible to do as he possesses high strength and durability and his deck will ''always'' change in order to perfectly counter the opponent's.]]
* [[spoiler: LightIsNotGood: Uses a Photon deck.]]
* [[spoiler: MadeOfIron: Almost literally.]]
* [[spoiler: PowerOfHate: He and his Photon monsters feed on this, and his Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon is practially the embodiment of the hate he feels towards Jalie (which is truly ironic, because when Kaito creates it in ''Anime/YuGiOhZexal'' - which happens at a later date - he does so due to the bond between him and his brother, pretty much the opposite.]]
* [[spoiler: TheRival: To Jalie before he became a lich.]]
* [[spoiler: [[SignatureMove Signature Card]]: Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon and Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon.]]
* [[spoiler: WildCard: Due to the defense mechanism that Jalie implanted on the Hellfire Sentinel, Belphagon can have practically use any deck in existence. What he uses is always dependent on the opponent's and it is always something that can perfectly counter it. (Jalie manages to fool this mechanism by choosing one of Dante's six decks completely at random, telling Dante not to look at it until the duel actually starts. Cyber Commander actually held a poll prior to this event in order to determine which of Dante's decks would be the one selected, in which the Armor deck won.]]

[[folder: Introduced in ''Danse Macabre'']]

!!Bandersnatch
-----
An odd, demonic creature sent by Palethorn to kidnap Alice.
* BagOfKidnapping: In an odd twist on the Trope, the Bandersnatch is both a kidnapper ''and'' the bag itself; once it restrains Alice it is able to ''swallow'' her and hold her inside itself, its body being hollow for the most part. Indeed, this makes the creature – or whatever created it – somewhat GenreSavvy, as the kidnap victim becomes a perfect HumanShield against any would-be pursuers.
* BodyHorror: It's a human sized rag doll that uses blood to ooze through tight spaces like an octopus. Add to that the fact that WordOfGod states the Bandersnatch was partially based off the Regenerators in ''VideoGame/ResidentEvil4'' and well, [[NightmareFuel have fun sleeping tonight.]]
* EliteMook: Seeing as Palethorn seems to consider it expendable.
* LethalJokeItem: Two of the monsters the it uses, Meda Bat and Dark King of the Abyss, are antiquated Normal Monsters with little power in today's game. However when combined with several Game Breaker spells and traps, suddenly they aren't so harmless, the latter at one point becoming strong enough to defeat an F.G.D.
* TheVoiceless: It doesn’t seem able to speak; indeed, whether it is intelligent at all is questionable.
* WarmUpBoss: Clearly the weakest of Palethorn’s minions, Voltaire dispatches it easily.
* ZergRush: The main theme behind its deck, using Mirage Ruler and other cards to swarm the field with low level Vanilla Fiends.

!!Lawrence Renfield:
-----
Palethorn’s right-hand man.
* AffablyEvil: He at least seems ''polite'' to Alice, despite the fact that he’s more or less her jailer.
* AmbiguouslyHuman: His species has not yet been revealed, and may or may not be human.
* TheDragon: It seems so, for now.
* TheRenfield: Well, it [[MeaningfulName seems obvious.]]
* UndyingLoyalty: Zigzagged. While he does seem willing to follow Palethorn’s orders without question, he also seems a little annoyed at times by his master’s eccentrics. (To put it lightly.)

!!Adleg
-----
A ghoul who claims to be an indentured enforcer to the “Lord of Gallowmere” (he means Palethorn, but doesn’t give his master’s name) he challenges Voltaire on the road to Palethorn’s castle.
* BarredFromTheAfterlife: Voltaire never finds out why, but Adleg is initially, [[spoiler:and defeating him seems to release him and let him go to whatever salvation – or damnation – he was barred from.]]
* NobleDemon [=/=] LetsFightLikeGentlemen: Rather than attacking outright, he makes a formal challenge to Voltaire and gives Voltaire choice of weapon; rather generous, seeing as Lestrad opened fire on him first.
* PlayingWithFire: Not only does he have powers relating to it, his deck uses Fire Attribute Zombies like Burning Skull Head. (He also uses Kasha, not truly a Fire monster, but the same general theme.)
* ObnoxiousSnarker: Tends to use a lot of [[OneLiner One Liners]], so much that even Voltaire gets angry. [[spoiler:This ends halfway through the duel; see below.]]
* OneWingedAngel: [[spoiler:As if he wasn’t ugly enough to begin with, after taking a very powerful attack during the duel, his flesh falls away, leaving only flaming bones, transforming him from a ghoul to a wrath, making him a far more powerful and crueler creature.]]
* OurZombiesAreDifferent: He’s a ghoul who generates fire, a rather unusual power for an undead creature.

!!Sir Blackborn
-----
A death knight who is tasked with guarding the entrance to Palethorn’s castle, he challenges Voltaire to a Shadow Duel with special conditions.

* [[spoiler:GreatWayToGo: He is defeated in his Shadow Game with Voltaire and perishes as a result, but now considers Voltaire a WorthyOpponent, and ending like this the best way he could ever ask for.]]
* HellishHorse
* HouseRules: The Shadow Duel he and Voltaire engage in is both a standard duel and an equestrian race, Voltaire using Baskerville as a mount. A player can win either the normal way, or by reaching the finish line first. [[spoiler: (Voltaire is clearly outmatched by this, as Baskerville can’t run as fast as Blackborn’s steed and has to carry Voltaire ''and'' Lestrad, but Voltaire manages to reduce Blackborn to zero LP first.]]
* MonsterKnight
* NoSenseOfHumor: He’s clearly unimpressed by Voltaire’s wit.
* NobleDemon: While clearly much stronger than Voltaire and under no obligation to play by the Shadowchasers’ rules, he does so anyway, curious at the new form of combat.
* ShadowArchetype: His deck uses Dark Counterparts.
* ShockAndAwe: The before mentioned Gilford the Black, a Dark Counterpart of Gilford the Lightning that attacks using bolts of black electricity. Bonus points for the name of it's attack being 'Black Raigeki Blade', Raigeki being the name of an Illegal Spell.

!!Argol
-----
A bestial aquatic creature called a cryptogon native to the waters of the Lower Planes, Palethorn keeps it in his dungeon to dispose of anyone he throws down there.
* AntiVillain: Argol is as much victim as he is villain, being kept as a slave by Palethorn and forced to act as a living garbage disposal. Eventually, Voltaire convinces him to help them.
* AttackOfTheFiftyFootWhatever: Obviously.
* EldritchAbomination
* KnightOfCerebus: Even among other Lower Planar natives, cryptogons are powerful. They are able to safely swim in the waters of the River Styx, and are known to prey on monsters as powerful as wastrilith and aboleth. (And Argol is clearly ''much'' smarter than the typical predator.)
* NightmareFuelStationAttendant: As if Argol himself wasn't seriously potential NightmareFuel himself, his signature card Deep Sea Devil is worse. It's a hundred foot long jet black shark with a bioluminescent skull plate over its face set in a scream and NO EYES. Then there's it's attack, subtly titled 'Gateway to a Silent Hell'.
* ThreateningShark: The theme of his deck.
* ToServeMan: Zigzagged. He’s willing to eat humans, but doesn’t particularly like them, for the reasons given on the Trope page.
* WeaksauceWeakness: He’s incredibly sensitive to light, especially magical light, and the fact that Voltaire has a magical device capable of creating it is what keeps him from attacking outright.

[[folder: Introduced in ''Conspiracy'']]

!!Yolanda Alva
A fire genasi who Edgar apprehends after making a sloppy attempt to steal a painting in Roswell, it's clear that her intentions and motivations are more than they appear.
----
* CheatersNeverProsper: She was wearing a Charm of Olidammara, which manipulated probability in her favor so her Arcana Force monsters almost always got their desired effects. She still loses. [[spoiler:However, Edgar has doubts as to whether the charm was actually the cause, hinting that some darker force may have been responsible.]]
* CloudCuckooLander: She insists she stole the painting because it's hers, saying that she modeled for it and the artist promised it to her. Biggest problem, she's likely ''far'' to young to have done so, seeing as it was painted in 1951, and genasi have lifespans similar to humans. She also claims that the painting - which depicts a [[GreenSkinnedSpaceBabe sexy alien woman]], was actually painted by an alien who wanted to portray her as ''his'' species.
* CuteMonsterGirl
* DangerousForbiddenTechnique: [[spoiler:After one of her most powerful cards is defeated, the spirits of her cards turn against her and try to kill her, ''even though'' she has not yet lost the duel. Edgar is able to save her only by gathering every piece of Exodia and ending the duel.]]
* FieryRedhead: Literally ''and'' figuratively.
* FreudianExcuse: Maybe. She claims her adoptive father (who was presumably somehow behind whatever method caused her mother to bear a genasi child) was a sorcerer with ''very'' unique and unpleasant views on child discipline. (The example she gives is him punishing her and her sister by [[BalefulPolymorph turning them into pigs]] for stealing cookies.) Although whether this is related to her current mental state or not is unknown.
* HotGypsyWoman: Dresses like one. Her outfit includes the Tropes:
** AbsoluteCleavage
** DoesNotLikeShoes
** ShesGotLegs
** Mundane viewers also see the typical [[AmbiguouslyBrown olive skin]] and raven-black hair, but in truth, her skin is metallic bronze and her hair flaming red, befitting a fire genasi.
* {{Jerkass}}: She cruelly insults the poor curator, even going so far as to [[YouAreFat make fun of his weight.]]
* PlayingWithFire: She's a fire genasi, which is a rare type of Shadow-Touched whose Shadowkind parent or forbearer was an elemental spirt; in her case, a Fire Spirit. Genasi are ''very'' rare, because in most cases, such creatures aren’t even biologically compatible with humans. Bad jokes about their origins aside, powerful magic was often involved in the original siring.
* [[StupidCrooks Stupid Crook]]: Both Edgar and [[{{Narrator}} Jemorille]] call her attempt to steal the painting amateur at best; she tries to steal it from the museum in broad daylight while it was open and full of customers, with no escape plan or any means of backup. Then, when cornered, she threatened to destroy it. Such a sloppy attempt at art theft would be seen by most criminal psychologists as practically asking the police to take her to jail.
* TarotMotifs: Her deck uses the Arcana Force monsters, which are, in turn, based on tarot cards.
** {{Homage}}: Some fanmade monsters she uses seem to have been based on a few creatures in the game ''VideoGame/{{Persona}}''. [[WordOfGod The author has insisted]] that [[StrangeMindsThinkAlike this was unintentional.]]
* UsedToBeMoreSocial: The curator, Mr. Clayton, claims that Yolanda was a "harmless" New Age massage therapist up until a month before the crime happens.

!!Ramón Alva
Yolanda's son, who attempts to avenge her, only to be defeated by Maddie.
-----
* CloudCuckooLander: He not only believes his mother's alien and painting claims, he expands them, saying that she and the alien were lovers and that he's the son of both.
* DirtyCoward: He gets scared of people who can actually fight back.
* EvenBadMenLoveTheirMamas: His sole purpose for trying to pick a fight with Edgar and Maddie seems to be over his mother being arrested.
* GoodOldFisticuffs: Uses a Battlin' Boxer deck.
* HotBlooded
* KickTheDog: He literally tries to use a girl's dog as a hostage.
* RevengeBeforeReason: Clearly, storming into a well-known restaurant during the dinner hour and threatening the patrons in order to pick a fight with someone isn't smart.
* UsedToBeASweetKid: Similar to Yolanda, a waitress claims he used to be a friendly gym-instructor and pee-wee football coach until a month ago.
* WouldHitAGirl: He gets Edgar and Maddie's attention by attacking two girls in a restaurant. (He tells Maddie afterwards that he ''won't'' fight girls, but she sees right though that, claiming he's just afraid to fight them if they can fight back.)

!!Ezekiel
A phoelarch who Hank meets on a trip to investigate reported trouble at a monastery in the Siberian wilderness (which was probably a false alarm) the meeting escalates into a dangerous threat capable of causing a wildfire. Unlike most criminals the Shadowchasers deal with, Ezekiel's encounter with Hank is an obvious ambush.
-----
* AllYourPowersCombined [=/=] NoSell: The strategy of his Hazy Flame Deck is similar to most, to summon Hazy Flame Basiltrice with as many monsters as possible, making it nearly unbeatable.
* AxeCrazy
* IceCreamKoan: His sermon seems convincing on the surface, but Hank quickly realizes it makes little sense, and that Ezekiel has simply taken all the parts of the Good Book that mention Hell, damnation, and the like, and strung them together in a mish-mash. Ezekiel's most dramatic speech is to quote the part of the Book of Revelation where [[NumberOfTheBeast the Beast]] appears, but Hank is quick to point out that such a passage is inappropriate in a sermon focusing on repentance, because the Beast was depicted as an enemy of God and embodiment of sin, not an agent of divine retribution.
* NumberOfTheBeast: The most vital part of his supposed sermon occurs when he summons Basiltrice and quotes from Revelations 13:11 - 18, comparing the Beast to Basiltrice. Of course, as Hank points out, he is CompletelyMissingThePoint.
* PlayingWithFire: And ''very'' careless with it. His Hazy Flame Deck counts too.
* PowerIncontinence: He can create flames, but has very little control over them, his enthusiastic ranting threatening to burn the forest down.
* SinisterMinister: Not technically, but he talks like he's making some fiery sermon predicting the end of the world, quoting the most frightening parts of the Bible. (See IceCreamKoan above.)
* WasOnceAMan: A phoelarch is a once-human victim of fire taint, a magical disease caused by both fire and black magic, who survives, but without medical treatment. Possibly, this explains why he is so unstable, as many victims go mad as a result.

!!Ray S. Carr
A mobster who works for Red Shroud who apparently is given the job of finding out who killed Clem.
-----
* AnalogyBackfire: He expresses his doubt of Rena's powers by comparing the Homeworld of Shadow to [[VideoGame/TheLegendOfZelda Hyrule]] (not positively at all). Before making her point (see below) Rena is quick to tell him that nothing resembling dark elves ''ever'' appeared in the ''Zelda'' games, and adds that the ''Franchise/ElderScrolls'' games might be a better analogy. (Ironically, she and her bodyguards seem to be more in-tune to modern culture than he is.)
* IneffectualSympatheticVillain: Even the deck he uses lacks creativity, seemingly copied from a magazine. Ferd wastes no time pointing it out.
* MilesGloriosus: That too. He even begs Ferd not to deliver the final blow in their duel when it's clear he's about to lose.
* ProfessionalButtKisser: Ferdinand calls him one, seeing as Shroud doesn't tolerate anything more from her minions.
* SirSwearsALot: He seems to be trying to imitate the {{Villain Protagonist}}s of films like ''Film/{{Scarface 1983}}'' and ''Film/TaxiDriver''. (He makes a direct quote from the second, but Rena and her bodyguards only laugh and tell him it is the ''worst'' Travis Bickle impression they have ever heard.)
* VitriolicBestBuds: With Ferdinand, but he finds out even this was one-sided.
* WrongGenreSavvy: He insults Rena and tells her he could take over an enclave of dark elves on the Homeworld of Shadow if he even had ''one'' gun. She gives him a loaded gun and tells her to try to use it on her to prove it. Not only does this result in a CurbStompBattle with him on the losing end, he ''is scared shitless'' when the dark elf priestess gives him a brief glance of her true nature.

!!Ferdinand
A tough, muscular guy who seems to work for Copek or a related group, although his job description (given that it's a technology company) is likely something obscure. He kills a mobster early in the fic, getting some apparently unwanted attention from the Shadowchasers. Later, he works with Emily as partners to steal from a vault in some other dimension, at the behalf of Copek's mysterious client.
-----
* TheAgeless: He either ages ''very'' slowly or not at all. Even ''he'' doesn't know how old he is, but if he was truly born during the Empire of the Giants, [[ReallySevenHundredYearsOld it's several thousand years]].
* AntiVillain: He's ''really'' starting to look that way now, offering to help Sofia for little reason other than charity.
* BadGuysPlayPool
* BigEater: As a mul, Ferd can do heavy labor for days without food or rest, but eventually if he does so, hunger and exhaustion catches up, and he has to eat ''a lot''. In one chapter, Sofia reads an order he made at a Chinese restaurant, for one entire Peking duck with pancakes, one beggar’s chicken, two dozen spare ribs, four pounds of fried meatballs, four pounds of moo shu pork, four pounds of Peking wontons, four pounds of noodles in gravy, one whole fried sugar cake, four bottles of beer, and two cups of coffee.
* DeadpanSnarker
* DefectorFromDecadence: He used to work for the espionage master Red Shroud, as Ray does, but quit - working for her required being a ProfessionalButtKisser.
* GeniusBruiser: It seems that way, given the way he describes the card game knoliast and claims he knows how to play it. And he's strong enough to bend a rifle double.
* LastOfHisKind: Ferd is a mul, a member of a former SlaveRace of the Empire of Giants created by [[HalfHumanHybrid breeding dwarf and human slaves]] because muls were sterile (it's no coincidence that the name is similar to "mule") most of them died out from old age; why he didn't age is a mystery even to him.
* TheLegionsOfHell: Uses a powerful Archfiend deck.
* NobleDemon: As of right now, he didn't seem to have any reason for making his challenge to Sofia and promising to tell her where Philip was if she won other than the fact that he sympathized with her. (And even though he ''won'', he gave her something that he claimed would point her in the right direction.
* ProfessionalKiller: Although right now, the only guy we've seen him kill was [[AssholeVictim complete scum]]. He later tells Sofia that [[HitmanWithAHeart this is true with everyone he kills.]]
* VitriolicBestBuds: With Ray, although he eventually claims he only pretended to like him.
* WhoWantsToLiveForever: It's worse for him than it is for Jalal. He's held ''dozens'' of jobs since arriving from Shadow in 1723, and was successful in some of them, but with each, he got bored eventually, and moved on. With no other muls around, he suffers a loneliness that he tries his best to hide.

!!Emily
A beautiful moon elf who used to be a wrestling diva but now works for Copek Industries, she - and her employers - seem to be allied with whoever Ferdinand is, but their motivations are as mysterious as his.
-----
* AntiVillain: Possibly. Same reason as Ferdinand.
* BeingEvilSucks: Sort of. She claimed she could never have made it as a wrestling heel, because she wasn't the type who liked having the crowd hate her. (She does hint that she could easily act evil in ''[[FemmeFatale other]]'' [[EvilIsSexy ways...]])
* FightingYourFriend: As a wrestler, her ArchEnemy in the scripted storylines was a heel diva named Sasha, whom she claims was like a sister to her otherwise, adding that Sasha's reaction when Emily had to retire was "inconsolable". (In fact, the way she lost in the last match was intended as a "parting gift".)
* FriendlyEnemy: She and Penelope have known each other a long time (since college, in fact, which was apparently in a place with elven nobility) and Emily considers the two of them this; Emily compared their relationship to that of [[Anime/LupinIII Arsene Lupin and Inspector Kouichi Zenigata]]. Whether Penelope feels the same way is hard to tell, but it is suggested she has passed up numerous chances to arrest Emily out of a promise she made to respect the career path she took (which is becoming harder all the time to keep).
* IWasNeverHere: The letter she leaves for Douglas seems to suggest this.
* PintSizedPowerhouse: Not only can she easily beat the crud out of a bunch of young toughs, she's even a match for ''Douglas'', not hurt by his punches and able to return one. (More than likely, her strength is augmented somehow; she's far stronger than even a past career in pro wrestling would suggest; it was suggested later that it was because of something she was drinking while watching television with Dunstan that they never gave the name of.)
* ProfessionalKiller [=/=] FemmeFatale: Penelope claims she is an ermordenung, which is apparently a type of government-sponsored assassin for elven kingdoms who uses alchemy and possibly magic to seduce a victim in order to kill him, although there are hints that Emily does it as a mercenary. She reasons to Penelope that she's [[AssholeVictim never killed "anyone who didn't deserve it"]] and Penelope doesn't deny it.
* SexySecretary: But that's not all on her job description.
* ShowSomeLeg [=/=] LadyInRed: This is her strategy, and why she wears the {{Stripperific}} outfit (with some DarkActionGirl) thrown in, to lure men close and then beat them senseless. (Douglas does notice that she's likely holding back her full strength.
* {{Stripperific}}: It's clear by now that this sort of outfit is job-related (But she has good reason too; see above.) Thus far she has used a PlayboyBunny costume and a FrenchMaidOutfit.
* WeNeedADistraction: Basically why she goes to Green Bay to cause trouble in the first place, so Ferd - who doesn't know Douglas is looking for him - can be told to leave.
* WildCard: She seems to own several decks. The ones she used, in chronological order:
** PrettyButterflies: A Butterspy Deck against Douglas, but while she uses a few of Droite's Spell and Trap Cards, most of the monsters are new, and many of them tend to act like the temptress she is. [[WordOfGod The author has stated]] that the ace card of this deck, Enchanting Damselfly Papilloperative, is an {{Expy}} of ''Franchise/MortalKombat'' villain Sindel.
** CatsAreMean: A deck that uses cat-like monsters, but depending mostly on the nightmarish Cat of Felkovic.

!!Earl Roland Drumer
Probably the first truly dangerous villain who appears in the fic, Drumer is obsessed with the idea that Revolutionary War traitor Benedict Arnold was set up, and seeks to clear his name. While most would call this quest both absurd and pointless, Drumer is so obsessed that he uses his skill in necromancy to command an army of bloodhulks - powerful zombies that require ''four freshly killed humans apiece'' to create - to help him rob the museum where he feels evidence is held. His callous disregard for human life in his quest to clear the name of a man who has been dead for centuries evokes disgust from both Fayte and Luther.
-----
* AuthorityInNameOnly: The title of Earl was given to him by [[BrotherhoodOfFunnyHats his fraternal lodge]], and means nothing outside it.
* AxeCrazy
* ConspiracyTheorist: Taken UpToEleven. He even entertains the possibility that UsefulNotes/GeorgeWashington himself may have framed Arnold.
* DisproportionateRetribution: In his quest to clear Benedict Arnold's name, he could possibly have caused more deaths than the ''entire American Revolution'' caused.
* FauxAffablyEvil: He's polite at first, but that ends when Fayte and Luther actually try to stop him.
* {{Necromancy}}
* OurZombiesAreDifferent: First of all, the ''real'' zombies he uses, bloodhulks (which PredecessorVillain Mister Monster may have had some hand in creating the formula for) are very different than regular zombies. First, the ritual to create one requires a recently-killed human and fresh blood from three others. Second, bloodhulks are strong, tough, durable creatures, very unlike the usual shambling, decayed, walking corpses.
** Second, his deck uses Pumpking the King of Ghosts and many fanmade accessory cards for it.
* WindmillCrusader: [[spoiler:As it turns out, the documents he's been searching for all his life do nothing to exonerate Benedict Arnold; they're a set of ''love letters'' he and his second wife wrote to each other before their marriage.]]

!!Ghislane Fion
A female eladrin (a type of fey with divine blood) Ghislane was a prominent writer on CreepyPasta blogs, who according to Karl, had at least five pseudonyms, all of them popular. Eventually, however, around the time she divorced her husband and lost her children in a custody battle (maybe) things started to change...
-----
* CannotTellFictionFromReality: Even worse, it's fiction ''she wrote''.
* CrazySurvivalist: But not a very good one. When found, she's a shut-in with a horde of supplies, a shotgun, and a laptop computer, too frightened to leave her brownstone apartment that's falling apart.
* [[spoiler:KilledOffForReal: After her duel with Karl, she collapses, sick and on the verge of death. While Karl and Jabels hope to save her by defeating Oswald, it proves hopeless; she dies at the end of the chapter. (As of now, the actual cause is unclear, but the best guess is a stroke. That's not to say there was no malice behind it, however; it was hinted that Oswald intended this in the first place.)]]
* LightIsNotGood: Ghislane herself qualifies, being of the eladrin race, an offshoot of elves with a taint of divine blood. (Calling her evil is probably stretching it, but her involvement in the scheme cannot be overlooked). Her deck qualifies too, using mostly Counter Fairies, and also the Light-Attribute Aqua Xyz Monster Unformed Void, an EldritchAbomination.
* MindControlDevice: From what we can tell, a laptop was altered so that reading the creepy stories written on it could {{Brainwash}} a victim and drive him to madness, which may have been partially to blame for what happened to Yolanda, Ramon, and Ezekiel. The specific stories were Ghislane's, and it is not yet known how much of an accomplice she was. She may have fallen victim to it herself.
* NeverSleepAgain: She tries desperately to stay awake to avoid the horrid nightmares she has, which may or may not have been caused by whatever drove her insane. She has vast supplies of coffee, high-caffeine soda, and most frightening, a highly addictive prescription drug called Maxatine used only to treat the most extreme cases of narcolepsy.
* StoneWall: Her deck relies most on defending and using Counter Traps, depleting her opponent's Life Points with burn damage. Until the wall is broken, at which point...
** EldritchAbomination: ...she breaks out the ''incredibly'' lethal and hideous Xyz Monster Unformed Void, another sign that things are not what they seem.
* WakeUpCallBoss: For two reasons. First, Ghislane is the first duelist to truly give a Shadowchaser a potent fight and create a Shadow Duel. Second, what happens with her gives them an idea that something dangerous is behind all that's been happening.
* YouHaveToBelieveMe: Ghislane is certain that [[Franchise/TheSlenderManMythos the Slenderman]] kidnapped her children, torments her in her sleep, and will eventually come to get her too. She even thinks that Karl and Jabels work for him at first, and after Karl defeats her in a duel, she is nearly DrivenToSuicide. Karl manages to talk her down, only to discover...
** ProperlyParanoid: ...that Ghislane's story about what is happening to her has some truth in it, proven by Oswald, who shows up a minute later.

!!Lee Harvey Oswald
A member of the Copek Industries staff (presumably; it's not clear what he does there) he's the only one yet who seems driven by actual malice. Apparently, he at least played a part in driving Ghislane off the deep end, and he returns to finish the job, only for Jabels to challenge him.
-----
* ArtifactOfDoom: Has a card based on the Slenderman himself, which turns the duel into a Shadow Game when summoned and is sentient; even trying to attack and MindRape Jabels. (Jabels [[HeroicWillpower is able to withstand it]], and calls the being out as an imposter, but it is strongly hinted that Ghislane faced this card in a duel previously, and wasn't so lucky.)
** [[spoiler:NotSoInvincibleAfterAll: Though he insists that the card is as invincible as the actual character in the internet blogs (who has never seen defeat in a single story) Jabels proves otherwise, sending Oswald into a minor VillainousBSOD]]
* AxeCrazy: Although, there are times when he can appear to turn it off and sound perfectly lucid.
* CannotTellFictionFromReality: He's much, much worse that Ghislane, not only believing the Slenderman is real, but that he's a minion of the creature. While Jabels eventually admits it's ''possible'' that he exists, Oswald is clearly deluded.
* ConspiracyTheorist: The whole reason behind his name. It isn't because he ever had anything against UsefulNotes/JohnFKennedy, but because he felt that the man accused of killing him got a "raw deal".
* TheFairFolk: Not him, but as a fey warlock, he can use magic due to [[DealWithTheDevil a Pact made with malignant entities]] from the Feywild, probably much like the typical members of this Trope. (Possibly, this is what drove him insane.)
* NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast: He actually had his name legally changed to that of the infamous assassin (how he got a judge to approve it is a mystery).
* RichIdiotWithNoDayJob: As Dunstan tells him (after he complains about having nothing to do) Copek is practically paying him to watch television in the break room until they need his skills as a duelist-assassin. (And it's obvious Dunstan ''despises'' him for this and other reasons.)
* TokenEvilTeammate: Unlike Ferdinand or Emily, Oswald is a cruel man who seems to enjoy hurting people, lacking the honor they possess.
* {{Troll}}: He seems to insult SAL simply because he wants to make her angry, comparing her to [[AIIsACrapshoot evil computers in fiction]] like [[Film/{{Tron}} the MCP]], [[VideoGame/{{Portal}} GLaDOS]], and [[WesternAnimation/BatmanTheAnimatedSeries HA.R.D.A.C.]]. At one point he compares her to a GPS. (This counts as BullyingADragon too, but he knows that neither SAL or Karl can hurt him because they're too preoccupied with Ghislane.)
* VillainousVirtues: At least he's generous enough to sign up as an organ donor, as shown on his driver's license.

!!Joka
The first villain in the story who seems completely unrelated to Copek, Joka is a member of the enigmatic Chaser Hunters a loosely organized group of criminals who all seek the destruction of the Shadowchasers for reasons that vary from member to member. Apparently a cyborg of some type, his origins are unknown, but he is ''very'' dangerous.
-----
* CigarChomper: Unfortunately. Terra calls his stoogies "the foulest smelling cigar I've ever smelled" and comments that's why she can keep trakc of him in the dark.
* Cyborg: He seems more metal than flesh, but it seems he's at least part flesh.
* HairTriggerTemper: After a MysteriousBacker sends waves of Duel Spirits after him that start summoning others via their effects, he ''really'' gets angry quickly.
* HeroKiller: He has no less than ''six'' Indelible Imprints on his face, meaning he's murdered six Shadowchasers in the past. Their identities remain unknown right now, but clearly, he's ''not'' a pushover.
* HiddenAgendaVillain: It's not known at present just why he has such a mad-on for the Shadowchasers.
* KnifeNut: His weapon of choice, but he has others, including twin Tommy guns that unfold out of his wrists and handheld rocket launchers that he can disassemble and store in his BadassLongcoat.
* ProfessionalKiller: At least in part, seeing as he's talked about someone paying him for the jobs he's done so far.
* TheSociopath: During Judy's Turbo Duel with Domino, he shoots down a police helicopter with a handheld missile launcher, and then laughs manically, wishing someone could have seen it.
* SkullForAHead: Well, a metal faceplate shaped like a skull.
* SirSwearsALot: It's rare that he can manage to say two sentences without cussing.

!!B. B. Hood ("Bonnie")
Just as dangerous as Joka, if not more so, B.B. Hood is a hired gun who looks like an adorable girl dressed as LittleRedRidingHood, her cute and adorable façade concealing a cold-blooded killer. While her motivations as yet are unknown, she seems to have once been a member of the League of Assassins (having forcefully quit, despite their [[ResignationsNotAccepted strict policy against members doing so]]) and now seems to be targeting Fanciullo's gang.

[[WordOfGod The author has claimed]] that this is the same B.B. Hood as the one in ''Franchise/{{Darkstalkers}}'', so unless otherwise noted for now, all Tropes for her on that game's Character Page apply unless stated otherwise.
-----
* [[EvenBadMenLoveTheirMamas Even Sociopathic Assassins Love Their Mamas:]] Although given what she said, it seems her mother may be just as evil as she.
* JustBeYourself: Why she claims she's a hired gun; it's what she's ''good'' at.
* MoreDakka: Far more than she ''needs''. It was clear that poor [[spoiler:Tranello]] was shot far more times than necessary.
* NastyParty: This was her plan to [[spoiler:eliminate Fanciullo and Tranello; Fanciullo was delayed, so she simply dealt with Tranello, right before Fanciullo arrived.]]
* SheIsAllGrownUp: Zigzagged. She seems about four to six years older than the child she was in ''Franchise/{{Darkstalkers}}''. Still, she keeps the overall impression of a cute little girl, rather than an attractive teenager.
* TakenForGranite: Her deck uses Gorgonic monsters, who do this to opposing monsters, but it seems like she only duels to lull a victim into a false sense of security.
