"I've tried bartending, but keep getting fired. Even after I go through all the effort of taste-testing the drinks!"

Originally, in Ménage à 3, Sandra Arden was DiDi's coworker at a (possibly Hooters-like) bar/restaurant. She dated Matt for a while, but was not entirely unattracted to DiDi, who had a crush on her, even leading to a date, although she seemed to be essentially heterosexual. Her character develops a little differently once she gets her own comic.

  • Affectionate Nickname: Cammi calls her "Freckles".
  • The Alcoholic: Sandra probably qualifies at times:
    • In Ménage à 3, she has a tendency to turn to drink as a way to handle uncomfortable situations or unlock her kinky side. It's also implied that she lost at least one job in a bar in the past because she kept sampling the product.
    • However, this becomes less visible after she moves to Sandra on the Rocks, despite the title of the comic and the setting in the land of French wine, perhaps simply because Zoé and Tatiana keep her on a short leash. She does become cheerfully squiffy on a dinner date and when hanging out with Gary, but these look more like isolated incidents.
    • But then her tendency kicks in hard when she's taken to a swanky nightclub with somebody else paying. She hits the bar immediately, is soon visibly tipsy, and in strip #144 (July 8, 2014, mildly NSFW), she liquors up in order to "sexy dance" with Cammi. In fact, she's so plastered that she mistakenly switches over to Eva without realizing it in mid dance, pulls down Eva's top, and continues dancing with her while fondling her boobs.
    • Similarly, when she takes Lavali out for a night on the town, she ends up plastered and indecently assaulting assorted women in short order — in a lesbian bar. Poor Lavali. Yet another incident on similar lines subsequently leads to her apparently losing her modeling job.
    • Nonetheless, on current form, Sandra might technically be rated as an unwise but occasional binge drinker, rather than as a full-on alcoholic.
  • Ambiguously Bi: Just when you thought this trope died alongside her night with DiDi, Cammi brings it racing back to the surface. Their encounter in the shower would probably have gone way further had Sandra not remembered that she's seeing Pierre now. See But Not Too Bi, below, for more on how this aspect of her personality is developed.
  • Ascended Fangirl: Sandra was a fan of the "Carmen Chamelia" videogame in her youth. During the story, she ends up modeling as Carmen for the reboot of the game. (She does have to take a crash course in contemporary geekery, though.) And eventually, Sandra becomes a globally famous actress and supermodel.
  • Breakout Character: Sandra was a secondary character, albeit a fairly important one, in Ménage à 3, when the plot took her to another continent while setting up the possibility of an entertaining story for her while detached from most of the cast. This may not initially have been intended as a way to break her out to her own title, but that's how it ended up.
  • But Not Too Bi: These comics are perfectly happy to depict enthusiastically bisexual characters, mostly averting this trope, but things get complicated with Sandra. She initially identifies as clearly straight, has a very unsuccessful lesbian experiment that seemingly just confirms this, then has another, more enthusiastic but abortive lesbian encounter. Eventually, in the course of a bonus comic created for Kickstarter backers, her own subconscious confronts her with the truth in a dream sequence; she has a barely-repressed yearning for wild meaningless sex, and when her inhibitions are sufficiently suppressed, she may well find this with women — and indeed, she's forgotten at least one drunken lesbian encounter in her past. However, she's also emotionally incapable of having a meaningful relationship with a woman ("It'd be hell"); indeed, it's the lack of emotional connection that potentially makes lesbian sex most fun for her. In the final strip, Sandra confesses her love to Cammi and they get together, but also states that she's "no good with categories", implying she doesn't want to put a label on her sexuality.
  • Closet Geek: Sandra is a closet ex-geek, in all her dorky past glory. It turns out that she dropped out of gaming after high school, but she's willing to get back into the field. Frankly, though, it's not much of a closet, given how quickly and enthusiastically she starts talking about video games when the subject is first mentioned:

  • The Cutie: While Sandra is by no means sweetly innocent by most standards — Ménage à 3 showed her to be an alcoholic boyfriend-stealer, and she thoroughly enjoys gloating at Senna at least twice — she takes this role by contrast with most of the characters around her.
  • Determinator: Sandra puts up with a lot of crap from Zoé, Domenico and Tatiana in her training, and never gives up.
  • Dominatrix: In the Ménage à 3 crossover strips, Sandra finds herself dressed as a domme for a "photo shoot" (which is actually a faked-up excuse for Tatiana to investigate Gary's potential as "the perfect sub").
  • Erotic Dream: Sandra experiences a pair of (slightly odd) erotic dreams in the print volume 2 bonus story.
  • Experimented in College: Sandra mostly thinks that she neglected to live this trope, but eventually, it turns out that she's forgotten at least one alcohol-driven experiment in high school senior year.
  • Expository Hairstyle Change: Sandra changes her usual hairstyle during the Time Skip in which she becomes a famous model on her own and before she comes back to Paris.
  • Fiery Redhead: Somewhat averted with Sandra, a redhead who is only occasionally fiery, and sometimes almost modest. However, as has been demonstrated especially in the parent comic, she can manifest quite a temper when drunk, and she gets quite fiery at the game launch in her own way.
  • The Fool: In her own comic, Sandra shows flashes of smarts, having (for example) apparently learned something about Web page management while working for Senna, but mostly she's depicted as less intelligent than she seemed in Ménage à 3. For example, she assumes that the Palais des Congres, a (real) major convention centre in Paris, must be a royal palace, from the name — despite the fact that there is a convention centre with the same name in her home city of Montreal. Her survival and successes have to come from luck (or purity of heart) as much as anything. (Zoé even points out that she's been insanely lucky.)
  • Gamer Chick:
    • Sandra becomes a very atypical example. She works as a model, loves cute boys, and lacks most of the tomboy aspects that people associate with the trope. (She also believes that adding brutal violence to a game will deter women in general from playing it.) She was an enthusiastic videogamer in high school, with a passionate fondness for the "Carmen Chamelia" games, but she appears to have been a bit more gawky then, with braces. She sets out to renew her knowledge of the field in the course of the comic's plot, to avoid feeling like a fraud when people call her "the savior of girl gamers".
    • When the developer for the new Carmen game makes the mistake of saying that they "don't care about girls playing videogames", it takes him about two seconds to realize his mistake. He presumably knows that Sandra isn't the only girl gamer he may have to contend with.
  • Girl Next Door: Always part of Sandra's image:
    • Much more on her looks than her behavior, though. She's freckly and not very glamorous, and like most women she suffers an inferiority complex in the presence of DiDi, but both readers and other characters find her attractive enough in this sort of way. However, when she gets drunk, her personality swings wildly away from the trope.
    • Domenico's interest in Sandra may be related to how well she fits this trope, at least in appearance. This could rate as a kind of Truth in Television — some successful models are described as having "girl next door" looks.
  • Girls Love Stuffed Animals: Sandra sleeps with a stuffed elephant named Mr. Snoofles. She's overjoyed to see him after a year, though she lets him stay with Tatiana when she sees that Tatiana's grown attached.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: Although she normally identifies as straight (except when she's drunk enough), Sandra gets noticeably jealous when she discovers that Cammi has moved on from her to Ingrid.
  • Hard-Drinking Party Girl: When she's out to enjoy herself, booze will be involved.
  • Head-Tiltingly Kinky: She has a record of doing "interesting things" when she's drunk. She doesn't always remember it afterwards; indeed, when her own darker side unlocks some of those memories in a dream sequence, it leaves her very unnerved.
  • Hero of Another Story: Sandra is now the heroine of her own comic. However, she also still makes occasional brief appearances in Ménage à 3. Hence, when she does so, she can be regarded as the Heroine of Another Comic from that comic's point of view.
  • If It's You, It's Okay: Sandra ends up making a declaration along the lines of this trope with Cammi in the final strip.
  • I Need a Freaking Drink: She's been known to carry a bottle of vodka in her purse for this purpose — although she more usually drinks before attempting something scary or challenging, rather than doing so after the difficult moment. Actually, she's quite capable of hitting the bottle during a difficult moment — which led to her becoming a Drunken Master when she geared up to fight Dillon in one Ménage à 3 strip.
  • In Vino Veritas: Libational Libido. When drunk, she has more confidence. Sometimes, as it turns out, frightening levels of confidence. In the final story arc, it seems that becoming a successful model on her own has brought her sober self's confidence up to par with her drunk self, allowing her to comfortably flirt with women and confess her love to Cammi.
    Cammi: I'm not used to hearing you say stuff like that. Not without drinking first.
    Sandra: There's a LOT I want to say to you sober. I'm... at a place in my life where I CAN.
  • Liquid Courage: She mostly drinks because she enjoys it, gets drunk, and then does outrageous and arguably stupidly brave things. Occasionally, though, she deliberately gets drunk for the sake of courage, before attempting things like dating highly attractive people or sexy dancing.
  • The Matchmaker: When Lavali is crying over the end of a relationship, Sandra drags her out on the town to get her back in the saddle, and attempts to play this role at the first opportunity. Unfortunately, (a) Sandra's model-grade looks and modeling career attract more interest than the quieter Lavali, and (b) Sandra is soon wildly drunk.
  • Ms. Fanservice: She has a tendency to play this role at work as both a waitress and a model.
  • Official Couple: The comic ends with Sandra finally hooking up with Cammi.
  • Perverted Drooling: Invoked in the last panel of strip #102, Feb. 08, 2014 (mildly NSFW), when Sandra fantasizes about being in a sexual sandwich between Pierre and Gary; she's shown drooling and grinning lecherously.
  • Progressively Prettier: While Sandra is never supposed to be less than cute, in her early days in Ménage à 3, she's generally seen as a freckled, snub-nosed Girl Next Door (with, admittedly, the usual inferiority complex suffered by any female character who has to stand next to DiDi for long). Her depictions in that comic maybe play up her charm more as time goes by; then she moves to her own title, gets a new artist, and quite plausibly lands a modeling contract.
  • Reluctant Fanservice Girl: The trope is played with in-universe in the first volume of Sandra's own comic. Sandra is starting work as a model, and while she isn't especially modest, she has fairly normal levels of the nudity taboo. It's made very clear to her that the job means losing those inhibitions, and a number of strips have her getting used to being skimpily dressed or effectively nude in public (and double as mild Fanservice). The training seemingly works; while she never becomes entirely shameless (except when she's drunk), she develops enough of a screw-you attitude to get by. After she has been modeling on her own, she seems to have transitioned fully from reluctant to shameless.
  • Shameless Fanservice Girl: Domenico and Zoe try to fit her to this trope, as Sandra has to learn to repress any concerns about modesty in order to function as a model. She is only really shameless when she's drunk, though — her modesty then goes flying out the window and she doesn't hesitate to take off her clothes even in public. After the big Time Skip, she has been modeling on her own and has seems to have adjusted fully to the demands of the job.
  • Significant Green-Eyed Redhead: She’s the title character of the comic, she’s definitely a redhead, and most of the occasional color art of her seems to show her eyes as green.
  • Sorry Ociffer: Sandra demonstrates the trope elegantly in this flashback to her prom night.
  • Wardrobe Malfunction: When Sandra's skirt gets ripped, she doesn't notice, but ends up getting more tips at the restaurant.
  • What Beautiful Eyes!: Sandra gets to declare Cammi's eyes as beautiful when she finally sees her with her sunglasses off.
  • Will They or Won't They?: Shared between her boyfriend, Pierre, and her growing interest in possibly pursuing a relationship with Cammi. In the final volume, Pierre breaks up with Sandra after finding out she's repeatedly cheated on him at different times, while she was drunk. But Sandra is only briefly heartbroken over it before finally deciding to go all-in with Cammi.

Domenico's Agency

"Then you are my discovery! Domenico will guide you, mold you, make you something more than human!"

The world-class fashion photographer, with his own modeling agency, who discovers Sandra and ships her to Paris. Domenico Pedrazzini is doubtless good at his job, but... well, just for a start, he's fully aware of his own genius.

  • Attention Deficit... Ooh, Shiny!: As seen here, he can be incredibly fickle and has an equally short-term memory, since he's constantly making demands and envisioning new prospects.
  • Carpet of Virility: Befitting his macho behaviour, he has a conspicuously hairy chest - which he tends to expose by wearing unbuttoned shirts.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: Domenico acts this way much of the time — deciding that Sandra would make a good model, shipping her from Brazil to France, then seeming to have forgotten about her by the time she arrives until reminded by his PA, who clearly runs his life... Basically, he's a parody of the classic temperamental, eccentric artist who is successful enough to be forgiven for his eccentricities, and the rich flake who can afford to pay other people to run his life for him.
  • Gut Feeling: When his very angry ex-wife is coming after him at speed (by means of a freefall parachute insertion), Domenico somehow senses the danger.
  • Insufferable Genius: While Domenico is not just a Cloudcuckoolander but vain to the point of narcissism, he is clearly very good at his job, having an international reputation in the fashion business. Notably, Zoé, who finds him very annoying, still continues to work with him when she could doubtless do very well independently.
  • It's All About Me: Domenico is perfectly aware that he's egocentric, flighty, hammy, and demanding. He just doesn't see a problem with any of that, and doesn't think anyone else should either.
    Zoé: Have you even considered some things are more important than your whims?
    Domenico: No! That would be absurd! My whims are titanic in scope!
  • Mr. Fanservice: Something of a caricature with Domenico, but he and his open-to-the-navel shirt have a definite effect on women within the comic.
  • Sex with the Ex: His response to finding out about Sandra's mo-cap session with Dark Matter Games is to call it foolish and demand she cancel it. Except his ex isn't about to let that happen. One shouting match, fueled by a crapload of Belligerent Sexual Tension later, and....
  • Testosterone Poisoning: Domenico, as is lampshaded more than once:
  • Walking Shirtless Scene: He does wear a shirt, however he never buttons it, thereby leaving everything on full display anyway.

    Cammi

"I'm just. That. Damn. Good!"

The agency's limo driver, who claims to be very good at her job. That would certainly explain how she can get away with not only talking back to Zoé, but running an open casual affair with Domenico.

  • Above the Influence: Although she's made no effort to hide her interest in Sandra, when a drunken Sandra does suggest a casual "desert island fling," Cammi resists because Sandra happens to be quite drunk at the time.
  • Back for the Finale: After taking a leave of absence from the agency, she reemerges for the comic's last three strips.
  • Badass Driver: It's her job, basically. Cammi can drive a company limo with NASCAR levels of skill.
  • Bunny-Ears Lawyer: She's whimsical, self-indulgent, and somewhat flaky, but apparently too good at her job to fire. Even Zoé can't keep her in line.
  • Closet Key: Cammi brings out Sandra's bisexual side.
  • Cool Shades: Cammi always wears the same pair of sunglasses regardless of the outfit she's wearing, or even if she's naked. Speaking of naked, she wears them while having sex too. She also wears equally-dark goggles when she showers. Only in the very last strip do we see her without them, revealing her mismatched eyes.
  • Conscience Makes You Go Back: She shows delayed but useful sympathy for the unfortunate Lavali.
  • Ethical Slut:
    • Cammi has a very casual attitude to nudity and sex, but is also quick to say that her casual relationship with Domenico only started after he and Zoé had been split up for years, with the implication that she wouldn't have pursued him had he and Zoé still been a couple.
    • She also immediately backs off when Sandra remembers her newly budding relationship with Pierre, and makes it clear she won't pursue things further unless Sandra tells her it's okay.
    • She's subsequently very uneasy about hooking up with Sandra while Sandra is drunk, not wanting to take advantage of her.
  • If It's You, It's Okay: Cammi was (and still is) a lesbian, but she was once seduced by Domenico. Apparently, she enjoyed it enough that he's the only man she's willing to make an exception for. How much of a problem this may cause with Zoé, though, may be an issue; Zoé snarks about the subject, but she snarks about most things.
  • Informed Ability: While she claims to be great at her job as a chauffeur, her driving ability has yet to be demonstrated in the comic.
  • Instant Seduction: Cammi gets Ingrid into bed within minutes of meeting her. Admittedly, Cammi is a bit of a lesbian pornomancer at the best of times, and Ingrid is on a declared journey of sexual self-discovery, but the effect is exaggerated here for comic effect.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: She initially chooses to smirk and ignore the way that Zoé demands Lavali's clothes, leaving the latter in her underwear in the car, but seeing Lavali looking stunned and lost in the driver's mirror evidently awakes Cammi's conscience.
  • The Nicknamer: She calls Sandra "Freckles", Tatiana "Glasses", and Lavali "Legs" at various points.
  • Official Couple: After spending most of the comic crushing on Sandra and flirting with her, they finally make it official in the last strip.
  • Perpetual Smiler: Much like her sunglasses, Cammi's grin seems to be permanently glued to her face. The only times she isn't shown smiling is when she sees someone she can sympathize with looking seriously unhappy — as when she sees Lavali in distress (and in undress) in the back of the limo.
  • Screw Yourself: Cammi finds Drunk!Sandra's impulsiveness and irresponsibility a massive turn-on, saying it reminds her of someone but she doesn't know who. Cue Cutaway Gag showing she is talking about herself.
  • Shameless Fanservice Girl: Once Cammi lends her clothes to Lavali, she doesn't bother to put any back on for some time, and doesn't even seem to particularly care that she's going about her day naked. In fact, she seems to think that others' discomfort at her nudity is hilarious.
  • Sunglasses at Night: Until the very end of the comic, Cammi Is never seen without her Cool Shades, even indoors, including in a nightclub. However, she does take them off to shower. But then, it turns out that she maintains the trope by wearing dark swim goggles instead. She points out that protecting her vision is important for her job; the only snag she's yet admitted is that people can't see when she's winking. In the bonus story in the second print collection, it seemingly turns out that she is actually concealing a pair of embarrassingly cute Tareme Eyes, but then that turns out to be one of Sandra's dreams. The final strip reveals that actually, she wears them to hide her eyes.

"I am a professional! Not some gossipy hairstylist from a cheap salon!"

The agency's in-house stylist.

  • Accidental Pervert: Fabien walks in on three women in various states of undress at one point when lost in a maze-like shop (strip #135, June 6, 2014, marginally NSFW). He's remarkably blase the whole way through, though, and as Sandra subsequently notes, he's very likely gay; from his point of view, this is probably less voyeurism than routine fashion industry life.
  • Camp Gay: Sandra thinks that Fabien is very probably gay, and he certainly behaves like a complete screaming stereotype. (Of course, it would be a good joke if Fabien was actually a straight guy who just behaves as people seem to expect.)
  • Chatty Hairdresser: Invoked by Fabien here. He promptly denies matching the trope himself, or at least being "gossipy", but his mannerisms may make him at least a borderline case.

    Tatiana

"A healthy regimen of humiliation will make her quit in no time."

Domenico's invaluable, overworked PA, who seethes with several emotions simultaneously. Tatiana Likhachyova also earns her niche in Ménage à 3 history in a crossover sequence, by becoming yet another of Gary's totally unintentional and actively unfortunate conquests. Sort of.

  • Aesop Amnesia: At one point, in a set of comics where characters generally seem gloriously immune to learning anything so boring as a lesson, Tatiana actually realizes that she may have gone too far, and seemingly resolves to stop letting jealousy control her, and to be nicer to Sandra. However, while she may not have been quite so deliberately mean since, she's still really the same Tatiana.
  • Bad Boss: Technically, she's not Sandra's boss, but Sandra's boss's personal assistant. However, this gives her power over Sandra that she exercises with hostile intent.
  • Bondage Is Bad: Present in a fairly mild form in Tatiana, who fantasises enthusiastically about dominating Domenico, for whom she has a secret crush, and who behaves very badly towards Sandra, towards whom she is sexually jealous because Domenico is so (professionally) interested in her. Her taste for BDSM isn't shown as evil in itself, exactly, but it's all tied together.
  • Dominatrix: Tatiana has passionate fantasies featuring herself as a dom. Quite how much she manages to enact these desires in her real life is unclear, as she mostly nurses an unrequited passion for Domenico, but in Ménage à 3 strip #795 (September 24, 2013, NSFW), she identifies Gary as "the perfect sub".
  • Evil Gloating: Played for Laughs, while Domenico and Zoé are attempting to "sex each other into submission" to determine whether Sandra should have to cancel her mo-cap session at Dark Matter games. Tatiana is certain that Domenico can't possibly lose... until he does.
    Tatiana: [evil grin] Ha! Domenico is one of the most virile men on earth! Models, starlets, royalty, none can outlast his raw machismo. Face it! Your little "hobby" is as good as—
    Zoé: [appears in doorway naked] Grab your coat, we're leaving.
    Tatiana: Domenico! NO!
  • For Science!: Not a trope that many readers expected to see evoked in these comics, but Tatiana needed an excuse to act on her peculiar but in-setting normal response to Gary here.
  • Girls Love Stuffed Animals: She held onto Sandra's stuffed elephant Mr. Snoofles for over a year until Sandra was able to reclaim him. She's clearly upset about having to let him go, and Sandra deciding to let her keep the stuffed animal is enough to break through her stoic demeanor. Her eyes even become visible for once.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: Her primary reason for disliking Sandra is jealousy over Domenico's interest in her.
  • I Call It "Vera": Her tablet, Yulia (which in her hands is one of her main weapons).
  • Ignored Enamored Underling: Domenico isn't totally unappreciative of Tatiana's efforts, but he doesn't seem to recognize the true nature of her feelings for him.
  • Jerkass: Her personal animosity makes her behave very badly. For example, when assigned to find Sandra an apartment, she purposely selects a hovel — ahem, an apartment that she describes as particularly ... "rustic." This bites her in the butt, though, when Domenico orders her to move in with Sandra; she is emotionally incapable of refusing his direct orders.
  • Love Makes You Crazy: Although her behavior is mostly fairly rational, Tatiana's feelings for Domenico are certainly quite obsessive, and her facial expressions when she's thinking about him often look quite crazy.
  • Mother Russia Makes You Strong: At least according to her it does.
  • Prim and Proper Bun: Tatiana’s bun is a thin disguise for her not-actually-prim nature.
  • Scary Shiny Glasses: Tatiana's glasses are usually shown as reflective enough that they may actually be mirrorshades, with distinctly intimidating effect. It seems likely that she is deliberately exploiting this trope.
  • Slasher Smile: Tatiana has her own version of this, though it's not revealed to the readers at first, possibly to save their sanity. Sandra is certainly scared. Ménage à 3 readers eventually get to see it.
  • Unorthodox Sheathing: Okay, it's not a sword — but Tatiana demonstrates the basic principle here.

    Zoé

"I rarely go clubbing these days. I have other recreations. Crushing insolent stylists, for example."

Zoé Duchateau is an experienced high-end model, now moving into management. She can be highly professional and serious about the job, but she’s maybe not quite as brutally unsentimental as she wants people to think, and worse, her occasional displays of Hair-Trigger Temper can sabotage her efforts. In her calmer moments, she'd be a fairly classic Aloof Dark-Haired Girl if her hair wasn't more auburn. Also, she's Domenico's ex-wife, but it's safer not to remind her of that too often.

  • Amicable Exes: She and Domenico still get along relatively well, considering her usual temperament, and work together okay, even if they do occasionally resort to Destructo-Nookie as an argument-solving technique.
  • Batman Gambit: When Sandra refuses to follow Zoé's instructions and says she doesn't need her to be a successful model, Zoé essentially has her Un-person'd and inserted back to her old life in Montreal, as if the events of the comic had never even happened. Sandra then works her way up the modelling scene in Montreal and becomes successful out of spite. This is revealed to have been Zoé's plan all along, since when Sandra returns to Paris to rub it in Zoé's face that she made it "all on [her] own", Zoé gets her to unwittingly point out that she was only able to do so by following Zoé's instructions.
  • Brandishment Bluff: Zoé demonstrates a social version of this technique here.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: It may be because she feels that she’s Surrounded by Idiots, it’s sometimes because Sandra got drunk or Marie has been manipulated by Eva, but Zoé is prone to occasional displays of towering rage that rarely do her any good.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Zoé does care for her people, though she'd sooner cut out her tongue than admit it (and she might claim that she's just protecting her investments). Every once in a while the comic makes a point of demonstrating that there's more to her than her colossal pride, severity, and aloofness; see here, for example. In fact, she might almost rate as a demonstration of the fact that Good is Not Nice; she tears into Marie for letting Eva involve her in modeling work — because Zoé had, sensibly, been insisting that Marie should finish her schooling first. Unfortunately, her way of going about it combined with Marie's low self-esteem resulted in alienating the poor girl to the point of her getting slapped hard.
  • Pride: Zoé's big flaw — the trigger for many of her displays of anger — and also her source of strength. She hates to back down, engaging in competitive sex with the ex she hates rather than lose arguments with him (and he's a proud man himself); she's uncomfortable about being called a "veteran" model, because it makes her sound old; and when she finds herself stuck in a limo with no clothes, she bullies Lavali into handing over her own, then when she's called out on the bullying, she spends a fortune on gifts of clothes and a night on the town for three other women rather than actually apologize.
  • Sex with the Ex: Her and Domenico get into passionate Destructo-Nookie session as way of settling an "argument" regard Sandra's career, in a competition where they attempt to "sex each other into submission". Zoé wins and leaves him in a daze long after.
  • Shameless Fanservice Girl: Zoé apparently has no nudity taboo and thinks little of walking around totally naked in public. It's only a problem for her in that it attracts the occasional paparazzo, or because she has no place to store business cards (as she notes when offering Marie a modeling tryout). Of course, being a semi-retired fashion model herself, Zoé lost any real sense of body-modesty a long time ago. Sandra even thinks of her as a role model to try to let go of her own modesty.
  • Statuesque Stunner: Zoé is a world-class fashion model with both the looks and the height that implies. However, her build mostly serves, in the comic, to keep Sandra (and other people) intimidated when she's around.
  • Three-Point Landing: When she parachutes in to have words with Domenico about dragging Sandra away from her regular work, she discards the 'chute and drops the last few feet to arrive for maximum effect. Being the comic's resident badass, she executes a pretty good three-point landing — and as it's on soft sand, it even has a little of the quality of a Ground-Shattering Landing, while the frame is drawn with a Dutch Angle.
  • Troll: She's not above discomfiting people just for the fun of it. However, the people she trolls probably mostly deserve it, or (in the case of Sandra) need some tough-love training.

The Gaming Folks

A geeky games fan and half of the blogging team who give Sandra's popularity in that world a rocket-assisted start.

  • Ambiguously Bi: Alex initially seems to be straightforwardly heterosexual, being attracted to women and looking mildly irritated at Penelope's attempts to persuade him to turn gay. However, he doesn't respond very negatively to that, and when he subsequently finds himself kissing Eloise while she is disguised as a boy, "Jean", his only real concern is that it violates the lore of the virtual reality game they're currently playing — and he subsequently gets into a sexual relationship with "Jean", but always wearing VR goggles to confuse the issue.note 
    Alex: A sky paladin does NOT fraternize with a dark elf! [...] Okay, maybe that one time in League of Fables, but that was a DLC sidequest, and hardly canon!
  • Closet Key: Alex has this effect on Christophe.
  • Clueless Chick-Magnet: A limited, low-key version — he appears to be a virgin when he first appears — but Alex's ability to end up in quasi-intimate situations with skimpily dressed, attractive women, through no effort of his own, becomes a bit of a recurring joke. He's had Marie trying to get close to him, Ingrid plotting to get him into a threesome with herself and Marie (and having him apply Body Paint to her along the way), Sandra hanging out with him, talking about her modeling jobs, getting into his bed naked while drunk, and getting him to apply Body Paint to her person, and Eloise seducing him (as both herself and a boy, "Jean") to get at Sandra — and then Nadine getting involved in that same plan.
  • Cross Player: Alex chooses the warrior woman character for himself in a virtual reality game. It quickly leads to things becoming very sexually confusing for both "Jean" (Eloise) and Alex.
  • Geek Physiques: Played with. Alex says that, as a geek, he doesn't need to be fit, putting him in the "fragile and skinny" class — but he doesn't actually look that bad from the off, and Marie, having caught a bit of a physical fitness bug, is determined to make him avert the trope.
  • Hormone-Addled Teenager: Alex is mostly too geeky and mild-mannered to manifest the trope, but the sight of Sandra clearly makes his teenage hormones kick in full force, sometimes making conversation between them difficult. Also, his failure to notice that "Jean" and Eloise are facially identical may be due to Eloise being nearly naked when she's around him, sending his hormones haywire.
  • Inane Blabbering: Eloise's seduction attempt reduces Alex to wordless gibbering.
  • Mistaken for Gay: Actually Mistaken For Bi — Alex is stuck in the middle of some adolescent/comedy sexual confusion:
    • After Marie forces him to exercise, the two of them play video games while exhausted and having trouble catching their breath. This, combined with their trash talk about the game being full of Innocent Innuendo, makes it sound to Penelope, who is playing online with them, like the two of them are having sex, and that Alex regularly has sex with guys as well. Penelope then starts telling people at school, and Alex even ends up as a Closet Key for Chick Magnet jock Christophe.
    • And then Alex comes to mistake himself for gay... possibly. It's all very confusing (especially for him) and detailed under Sweet on Polly Oliver below.
  • Oblivious to Love: Marie is interested in turning her friendship with Alex into something more. Unfortunately, he just doesn't notice her broad hints. His current infatuation with Sandra isn't helping, but it may be mostly that he simply thinks that they're Like Brother and Sister. And, well, he's a bit of a geek.
  • Sweet on Polly Oliver: Alex finds himself attracted to "Jean", who conveniently shows up seconds after Penelope suggests that he turn gay as an answer to his recent problem of coming to associate attractive women with vomit. This escalates further once Eloise responds to Alex's game character enough to momentarily forget about her disguise and kiss her, and by extension him in real life. After rationalizing that it's not gay as long as they keep the VR headsets on, they keep going, and eventually stop bothering with the headsets altogether. Then, things get even more confusing for Alex when "Jean" leaves the room and Eloise comes back in, evidently wanting to take things a step further without compromising her disguise. Alex wonders why he can kiss her without imagining her vomiting on him and becoming disgusted, and realizes that it's because she kisses almost exactly like Jean... which leads him to the conclusion that he must really be gay. The whole situation appears to resolve itself during the Time Skip, as we are treated to a scene of a very shocked Marie walking in on Alex having a threesome with Eloise and Nadine.

Alex's sister, who works as a gopher at Dark Matter Games. For the most part, she appears to be shy and reserved, but friendly, and she gets on okay with Sandra. Despite her reserve and usual good sense, she clearly enjoys sexual companionship, giving her an impressive dating record and a degree of vulnerability to a well-aimed seduction attempt.

  • Bad Liar: See the Everybody Knew Already entry.
  • Butt-Monkey: Since her introduction, she's:
    • Had her clothes stolen by Zoé when Sandra asked her to take Zoé a drink.
    • Eventually realized (as in years later) that she failed miserably to keep her lesbianism secret from her family.
    • Wound up having to play chaperone to Sandra, who'd gotten drunk when she was supposed to be acting as Lavali's "wing girl".
    • Been targeted by Eva, who decided to toy with her emotions as part of a scheme to get back at Zoé.
    • Found herself attracted to Aaina, who treats her as a way to get to Sandra and talks her into wearing a negligee that gets her teased.
    • Dragged along by Domenico and Tatiana to a Naked Freak-Out tropical island naked because of a poor decision made by drunk Sandra.
  • The Cutie: The readership has quickly come to regard her as such, particularly due to moments like these when she appears vulnerable and frightened. In fact, many were upset when Zoé stole her clothes and left her stranded in the back of the limo.
  • Covert Pervert: She keeps a picture of Cammi's naked ass on her phone, and would look at it while Claire was eating her out (which might have been what led to the breakup).
  • Distracted by the Sexy: When Eva turns on the seduction, Lavali’s brain shuts down so completely that she doesn’t even notice that Eva spends much of their time together asking curiously specific questions about subjects such as Sandra’s work schedule.
  • The Ditz: She isn't actually dumb, and she usually seems quite practical, but she genuinely believes that she's managed to keep her sexual orientation a secret from her family until Alex tells her otherwise, which makes her look ditzy when she talks about it.
  • Everybody Knew Already: Lavali previously tried to conceal her lesbianism from Alex, her parents, and others, afraid they wouldn't accept her being gay. The key word being "tried", as some of those people kept catching her with other women, often naked. Despite the extremely Blatant Lies she tried to cover each situation with, she somehow believed she had done a flawless job of staying in the closet. However, people who hadn't actually seen too much could still be in the dark about her orientation, Marie being one examplenote , and Sandra for another (though Sandra suffers from unreliable gaydar).
  • Eyelid Pull Taunt: Lavali demonstrates this gesture here, although it's usually a Franco-Japanese trope and she hails from The UK. This could be explained by the fairly heavy manga influence on the comic, or by the fact that she's been living in France for a while.
  • Gibberish of Love: A seductive gaze from the highly-attractive Eva shuts down her higher brain functions, and when Eva really lays on the seduction, she can't even remember her own name. For two whole days.
  • Hidden Depths: Despite her quiet, shy manner much of the time, she has a very impressive dating history.
  • Leg Focus: Cammi calls her "legs" during a discussion.
  • Luminescent Blush: First seen when she asks Cammi if she peeked at her when Zoé left her without any clothes. While a later strip shows her blushing each time she tried to lie to her parents, whenever they caught her with a different woman.
  • Nice Girl: Lavali is generally polite and considerate, both on and off the job. For example, she promptly takes Zoé an energy drink when Sandra asks her to. She also makes a point of thanking Cammi for loaning her chauffeur's uniform, after the incident where Zoé stole her clothes, and remains formally polite even when complaining about that incident. However, her break-up argument with her girlfriend involves more anger and insults.
  • Reluctant Fanservice Girl: One of the biggest in the comic since her status as a Butt-Monkey, she often ends up naked for laughs and always has a Naked Freak-Out over it. She even started having hallucinations over it with the "Goddess of Clothing."
  • Shower of Angst is briefly demonstrated by Lavali when she's angsting over her inability to make herself call an attractive woman.
  • Shrinking Violet: She's quite shy and seems easily intimidated. However, she does stand up for herself when she confronts Zoé about stealing her clothes, and is capable of talking herself into joining a mass public skinny-dipping session.
  • Straight Gay: Lavali doesn't display many stereotyped signs of lesbianism, at least to the readers.
  • Transparent Closet: Lavali's attempts to cover up her lesbianism worked out poorly. Very poorly.
  • Twin Threesome Fantasy: When her tryst with Aania is interrupted by Aaina, Lavali sees the twins together for the first time, and is briefly distracted by the mental image this induces for her.
  • What Happened to the Mouse?: Both major plot points involving Lavali are simply dropped during the comic's final online volume, which ends without providing any closure for either of them. The reader never finds out whether she learned that Eva was manipulating her to get to Zoé, nor do we know if she managed to hook up with Aania. Sandra doesn't even ask about her before she leaves Paris with Marie as her new protégé. However, a short Print Bonus story in the printed version of that volume provides at least a partial answer; Lavali is still associating with Aania, which would presumably have helped her get over Eva when the latter discarded her as no longer useful.

A woman who Sandra and Lavali meet in a lesbian bar. Lavali is quite smitten with her, but she unfortunately falls for Sandra (despite the fact that a drunken Sandra physically assaults her on their first encounter). All three subsequently become friends, with the complication that Aaina continues to carry a torch for Sandra, leading her to ploys such as throwing a small Slumber Party.

She turns out to have a sister, Aania, evidently a twin (and almost certainly an identical twin) given how similar they are in appearance (and also sexual orientation). Given what appears to be their shared career, they may be a pair of Trickster Twins.

Christophe Tilleux is another pupil at the same school as Alex and Marie, where he hangs out with them and Penelope, despite some differing interests. This may be partly because he has a thing for Marie, who doesn't return his feelings, but mostly he's just a good friend.

  • Ambiguously Bi: The ambiguity in this case is mostly to himself. Christophe evidently regards himself as comfortably heterosexual, engaging in a string of casual relationships with girls while trying to court Marie — but then he finds himself unintentionally fantasizing about Alex, to his own confusion and discomfort. A Print Bonus story in the last print volume establishes that he's clearly bi, and has adjusted to this discovery just fine judging by how he gives Alex affection.
  • Big Man on Campus: Christophe is specifically aware that this trope fits him. He's very well-built, good-looking, the star of his school's sports team, and quite popular. His intelligence is undetermined as yet, but he hangs out and plays computer games with a bunch of geeks without apparent embarrassment, and he has the wisdom and maturity to recognize that other people like him for his image rather than for himself.
  • Chick Magnet: Christophe claims that girls throw themselves at him unprompted, and while he doesn't always turn them down, he'd actually like to try a more meaningful relationship.
  • Ladykiller in Love: The depth of Christophe's feelings for Marie is unclear, but they're more than casual; he keeps asking (politely) after being turned down repeatedly (while still sleeping with other girls).
  • Lovable Jock: Christophe is a big, hunky guy, a school sports star, and a Chick Magnet — but he's entirely pleasant to his geeky friends, preferring their company to that of other jocks, and says that he'd prefer a more serious romantic relationship than those he usually gets.
  • Rejection Affection: Christophe keeps asking Marie for dates, despite always being rejected. Fortunately, it's all quite amicable on both sides.
  • Younger Than They Look: Christophe must be about 17 or 18, but he's not only depicted as tall and athletic, he has the muscle definition and bulk of an athlete in his 20s.

The model who Sandra replaces in the role of "Carmen Chamelia" at the trade show. Despite the fact that the substitution is entirely her own fault, she's annoyed enough by this and what follows to declare herself Sandra's enemy. It doesn't help that she greatly admires Zoé, who is preoccupied with Sandra when they briefly meet — and worse, that she not only is Pierre's cousin, but has an undeclared crush on him going back to their childhood. She passes as a boy named "Jean" in the course of one plotline.

  • Always Someone Better: It seems that whatever she wants is inevitably stolen away from her by Sandra. Despite this making Sandra her personal arch-enemy from her perspective, Sandra isn't doing this on purpose. So far, the two of them have barely even met.
  • Belated Happy Ending: Her final scene in the main comic makes it seem unlikely that she'd have any chance of getting together with Pierre, since he says he would never date a model again because of Sandra. But it seems he's changed his mind because one scene in the Volume 3 Print Bonus story shows them in bed together.
  • Casting Couch: Eloise is perfectly willing to sleep her way up the modelling business ladder — and has sex with men for this purpose. In her more personal life, she has a girlfriend, Nadine, who is amused by this — but Eloise is also using Nadine to get favors from Nadine's father.
    Eloise: You know I worked my butt off to get where I am.
    Nadine: I know. I am reminded every time I see you walking funny before a shoot.
    Eloise: Sh-shut up!
  • Depraved Bisexual: A very mild case, as Eloise's evil is relatively trivial and the comic has more its share of sympathetic bisexual characters, but Eloise's bisexuality empowers her use of Casting Couch tactics on men and women, and is generally linked to her self-indulgence and ruthlessness.
  • Drives Like Crazy: When Eloise is transporting Pierre somewhere as part of an evil scheme, she puts her foot down, with a bit of a Slasher Smile.
  • Forbidden Fruit: She wants to sleep with her her cousin, Pierre, because she thinks forbidden fruit is hot.note  She finally gets what she wants, but only in the Volume 3 Print Bonus story.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: Eloise's rage at Sandra is fueled by the successes which Sandra achieves in a role which was originally her own and with a man who Eloise desires.
  • Hero-Worshipper: Her reaction on meeting Zoé is little short of a Squee.
  • It's Personal: Sandra's success with Pierre makes Eloise's resentment of her more than just a matter of professional rivalry.
  • Kissing Cousins: Eloise is sexually infatuated with Pierre, because the idea of getting it on with her cousinnote  turns her on. But she's still uncomfortable about admitting it out loud. The volume 3 Print Bonus story reveals that she and Pierre are now sleeping together.
  • Oh, My Gods!: Eloise is evidently obsessed with fashion enough to use the phrase "I swear to Vogue" in place of "I swear to God".
  • Psycho Lesbian: A borderline case at worst (and she's bisexual rather than lesbian), but Eloise's first substantial scene does show her being angry and vengeful for irrational reasons, while in bed with Nadine.
  • Removing the Rival: Eloise sets out to break up Sandra and Pierre because she wants Pierre for herself.
  • The Resenter: Eloise verges on being a deconstruction of this trope. She has a raging hatred for Sandra based on (1) Sandra getting a lot of attention as a model after she replaced Eloise in the role of Carmen, and (2) Sandra having a relationship with Eloise's Forbidden Fruit crush, Pierre. However, Sandra got the attention by tackling the role of Carmen with (wild) enthusiasm, something Eloise would likely never have done, after Eloise had already destroyed her chances in that gig by carelessly burning the wig that was an essential part of the character's look, and Eloise had long failed to make any moves on Pierre. She resents Sandra for being successful at things which she herself either would never have done or had long refused to do.
  • String Theory: Eloise indulges in this trope as seen here. It's a fairly small string-map by many standards, because it focuses entirely on Sandra.
  • Sweet Polly Oliver: When Nadine sets them up to infiltrate Alex's school, she creates a male fake identity for Eloise, named "Jean" — apparently just out of sheer mischief, and to Eloise's annoyance.

  • A Threesome Is Hot: When she learns that Marie is in love with Alex, she offers to help her hook up with him. Her thought bubble right after this shows that she's not doing this purely out of the goodness of her heart, but so she can try to get a threesome with both of them.
    Ingrid: [biting her lip while imagining the scenario] (After all, it being better to bicurious with boy and girl at the same time, no?)
  • Even the Girls Want Her: Her seduction techniques cause Marie to blush quite heavily and claim in a thought bubble that she just instantly went from a Kinsey zero to a two. Compare that with Marie's very poorly disguised revulsion when demonstrating "lesbian chic" with Adrianne and Adrienne and it's clear that Marie really is 100% straight and Ingrid is simply that good.
  • I Am Not Pretty: As a walking Nordic stereotype, she's extremely attractive, and apparently the rest of her family is too. All of the women in her family are models, and so is her brother, but not her (when she first appears — she’s later talent-spotted by Zoé)... because she's "far too plain-looking". Saying this causes both Sandra's and Marie's jaws to drop.

  • Important Haircut: Ingrid cuts her hair to prove to Zoé that she's determined to be a model.
  • Norse by Norsewest: To describe Ingrid as a walking mass of Nordic clichés would probably be a polite understatement. Among other things, and aside from being blonde, gorgeous, and sexually uninhibited, she talks with a lot of umlauts and "ø" symbols — despite the fact that the latter aren't used in Swedish. A couple of strips after her appearance, she explains she spent some time living in Denmark and picked up a slight accent there, and her speech bubbles subsequently use no more ø symbols for some time. (This was presumably the writer's way of correcting the mistake after it was pointed out on discussion boards.) She eventually loses the accent while she’s offscreen for an extended (in-comic) period, though she puts it on again, complete with ø symbols, when Sandra says it was sexy.
  • Sexy Scandinavian: To the point of stereotype and some way beyond (aside from the fact that she isn’t particularly tall).
  • Shameless Fanservice Girl: Has no issue posing nude for Alex or going Skinny Dipping in public.

Eva's (very gay and totally amoral) Sidekick. Lukas is perpetually snarky about Eva's ideas and schemes, but then he assists and enables them anyway. Presumably, either he's leeching off Eva's high-maintenance lifestyle, he's an employee who's too useful to sack for all his insolence, or he just likes hanging out with her for sheer amusement.

  • Camp Gay: Lukas is actually relatively subtle about this — but he's quite flamboyant and very openly gay.
  • Chick Magnet: Lukas is a superbly good-looking gay man who also takes it for granted that women will find him irresistible, just because. When Sandra suggests that he might not be welcome in a lesbian bar, his reply is "Darling, please! No woman is THAT gay."
  • The Pornomancer: A gay version; Lukas is an uncannily successful gay seducer, often in service to Eva's plans. Even if he just picks the right targets, he must have superb Gaydar.
  • Servile Snarker: A villainous and not very deadpan version. Whatever his relationship with Eva, he clearly takes a lot of pleasure in snarking at her.

Eloise's (sometimes snarky) girlfriend, who appears to find Eloise's jealous rage at Sandra amusing. She occasionally tries to rein in Eloise's anger, albeit by distracting her with teasing, but mostly she enables Eloise's bad behavior by playing the Sidekick or the not-very-Servile Snarker, spending time and effort on complicated plots that amuse her. Compared to Eloise, she’s still quite likeable despite being spoiled rotten — but she only really looks good alongside Eloise. She adopts a disguised persona, "Nadia", at one point.

  • All Girls Want Bad Girls: Nadine appears to suffer from a lesbian version of the All Girls Want Bad Boys effect. She apparently finds Eloise's rage a bit of a turn-on — or at least, she regards distracting Eloise an amusing challenge. She even knows about Eloise's use of the Casting Couch with a lot of men, but thinks she alone has Eloise's heart — not noticing that Eloise is also blatantly using her.
  • Attention Deficit... Ooh, Shiny!: After screwing multiple guys, she finally gets her first lead on Sandra's mystery consultant when Christophe tells her about Alex. She asks how soon she can meet him, which apparently causes Christophe's erection to harden inside her, because she promptly forgets about the plan and says that if Alex gets him that excited "down there", Christophe should bring on two of him.
  • Blatant Lies: When her first attempt to uncover the identity of Sandra's gaming consultant fails, she asks Eloise if maybe she should've tried harder. Before Eloise can reply, Nadine cuts her off in mid-sentence and ducks back inside to try again. It's clear from Eloise's expression that she's aware Nadine just wanted another quickie.
  • Daddy's Girl: She's clearly the apple of her father's eye:
    • He's lavished her with expensive gifts, from tablet computers to high-fashion dresses imported from Milan. In all likelihood, her Audi R8 was a gift from him as well.
    • A later strip has her sweet talk him into getting her back into highschool — despite having already graduated — by having him make a "generous donation" to the school. Naturally, he can't say "no".
      Nadine's Father: <Sigh... Our children's education is our future, I suppose...>
      Nadine: <Better double it! Eloise wants to better her horizons too.>
  • Depraved Bisexual: Nadine's depravity is even milder than Eloise's, amounting to little more than mischievousness and a willingness to enable Eloise's bad behavior (and the comic definitely has plenty of sympathetic bisexual characters other than these two), but she is wildly promiscuous, treating sex with men and women as both a means to an end and amusing in itself, without much regard for anyone else's feelings.
  • The Gadfly: Nadine definitely knows how to push Eloise's buttons for her own amusement, and evidently enjoys messing with people’s heads in general.
  • Really Gets Around: Nadine seems quick to put out, and will gladly do the deed with anyone she considers hot.
    • Although she's in a relationship with Eloise, she casually threatens to seduce Pierre, and Eloise's reactions show that this is entirely in character.
    • She later hatches a Zany Scheme to get herself and Eloise back into high school, purely so they can find out who Sandra's secret gaming consultant is. Then she uses this as an excuse to repeatedly get laid by multiple male students, under the pretense of questioning them. Strip #354 (March 14, 2017; NSFW) shows her having sex with different guys back-to-back, including a threesome.
    • The following strips have her continuing to shag assorted guys, including Christophe. She offhandedly mentions being worried that she's been "boning the wrong school" until Christophe tells her that his friend Alex is the biggest gamer on campus.
    • She subsequently seduces Alex to distract him while Eloise is continuing with her scheme. A bonus strip that appeared after the comic proper ended shows that she hasn’t changed, with her getting into a threesome with Alex and Christophe.

"I told you they were doin' it."

Another pupil at the same school as Alex and Marie, where she hangs out with them and Christophe. Penelope is small in size but bubbly and energetic, cheers Christophe on enthusiastically during sports matches, and is not above a little gossiping about her friends.

  • Gamer Chick: Penelope plays computer games with Alex and Marie, suggesting that she's at least a moderately serious gamer herself.
  • Guy on Guy Is Hot: When Alex is having a little trouble with his heterosexual emotions — after Sandra throws up on him, he starts associating attractive women with vomit — Penelope promptly suggests that he turns gay. This being the Ménage à 3 universe, she's almost certainly a Yaoi Fangirl.
  • Messy Hair: Penelope has a notably exuberant hairstyle.
  • Nerd Glasses: Penelope's large, square-framed glasses give her a geeky look.

    Pierre

The baker at the boulangerie where Sandra shops and her main romantic interest and source of moral support while in Paris. He also turns out to be Eloise's cousin.

  • Belated Happy Ending: Sorta? The main comic ends with him heartbroken over Sandra and swearing never to date a model again. But, in a Print Bonus story set after the comic's ending, he must have changed his mind because he's sleeping with a new model: his cousin, Eloise.
  • Dogged Nice Guy: Despite being a faithful and supportive boyfriend, he ends up stuck in this category after finding out about all the times Sandra has cheated on him while she was drunk (and she says she has gone further with Cammi while sober). Pierre ends their relationship and is left despondent. Sandra, on the other hand, is only briefly affected by this before simply moving on eventually with Cammi.
  • Everyone Loves Blondes: His tall, slim, but well-toned figure is probably the main reason why women (especially his own cousin) desire him (and his nice personality wouldn't hurt either), but he's also very fair — and instantly attractive to both Sandra and Senna.
  • The Grunting Orgasm: Pierre provides the trope's page image; see the comic's main page.
  • Kissing Cousins: A scene set after the comic's ending shows that he ends up in a relationship with Eloise.
  • Nice Guy:
  • Nice Guys Finish Last: Pierre is last seen heartbroken and disillusioned after calling things off with Sandra. Whereas she quickly moves on with her life, rebuilds a successful career in modelling and acting, and gets her happy ending with Cammi — despite having cheated on Pierre several times.
  • Satellite Love Interest: He has very little screen time, and all of it is dedicated to being Sandra's Love Interest.
  • Supreme Chef: Pierre runs a bakery business which covers the rent of a shop in a fashionable part of Paris, and everyone seems to rate his croissants highly.
