Slenderman

"And you wonder why I hate you."
Coming from a generation of several monsters similar to him, the Slender Man is the son of the Lord of the Pit, Zalgo. He is believed to be a child murder and a ferocious monster. In actuality, this Slender Man actually wants to wipe clean his ancestors’ name and be accepted by other Monsters. Instead of killing children, he actually kills the parents who abuse their children and take their children so that they can be raised on a better life. Despite this, the Slender Man can still be a dangerous being and caution should be made when approaching him. He is the absolute leader of the Proxies and an incredibly popular monster within the Dark World.

  • Abusive Dad: He loathed Slenderson's existence to the point that he was compelled to abandon him in the past and leave Slenderwoman to suffer the horrendous grief on her own, all because she cheated on him (which is obviously inexcusable, but compared to this...) and stole his car. No wonder why he considers daddy domination a dark art.
  • Action Dad: Slenderman regularly (and effortlessly) decimates entire armies, has defeated Eldritch Abomination after Eldritch Abomination and is the sole being that can fight on par with Zalgo. And he also happens to be a father (albeit a deadbeat one, which he wasn't even aware of until recently).
  • Affectionate Nickname: Nearly all Proxies call him "Slendy". Even other monsters like Mr. Widemouth and the Unwanted House Guest do as well.
  • Affably Evil: He can be genuinely friendly and polite on his better days. He's certainly nicer than Zalgo and Jeff.
  • The Ageless
  • The Alcoholic: "Fragile Nutcase" reveals Slenderman drinks heavily, but can't get drunk because of his Healing Factor.
  • Anti-Hero: Swaps between this and Unscrupulous Hero.
  • Ax-Crazy: Despite his calm and collected facade, Slenderman is just as crazy as the other Proxies.
  • Bad Boss: It is implied Slenderman has killed many Proxies for their failures. He has also attempted to kill Jeff and BEN numerous times.
  • Badass Teacher: He is Jeff's teacher who regularly stops catastrophic events.
  • Bald of Evil
  • Berserk Button: To be expected from a being who can rival Jeff in pure anger.
    • Apparently, it's not okay to call the Proxies "Slenderman's Proxies" because Slenderman doesn't want to be associated with them.
    • Jeff's mere existence has provided this for him, and Slenderman is very open about his hatred of Jeff.
    • As bad as he seems, he gets pissed whenever his more beloved Proxies (like Sally, Ms. P on some occasions, Eyeless Jack, ect.) are threatened.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing
  • Blue and Orange Morality: He genuinely doesn't seem to understand kidnapping children and murdering innocents is wrong. Justified as he was literally raised to think this way.
  • Body Horror: His Combat Tentacles are actually burned flaps of his own skin with dark magic seared into it. Zalgo did this so he could be made to resemble his ancestors even more. And it was at a very young age for him.
  • Brutal Honesty: He doesn't care for niceties or even try to soften blows when criticizing other's actions and faults. Though harsh, everything he says is, at least from his available knowledge, completely true.
  • Butt-Monkey: Up to Eleven.
  • The Caligula: Not only commits carnage, kidnapping, and murder on a regular basis, he is more than willing to welcomes a lot of criminals and delinquents into Proxism.
  • Catchphrase: "Fan-fucking-tastic."
  • Characterization Marches On: In the pilot episodes, he's actually quite a fairly serious, ominous antagonist, lacking a lot of the dark sense of humor that would characterize him later on. In the episodes showing him in the past, his personality is as serious as in the pilot episodes, which indicates that the timeskip and his years with Jeff changed him greatly.
  • The Chessmaster: An adept at this trope.
  • The Chew Toy: Slenderman's abuse is typically well-deserved, seeing as he is a child murderer and kidnapper.
  • Child Hater: Slenderman dislikes children intensely because all they do is yell, scream, and mock him.
  • Classic Villain: He represents Vanity with a hint of Wrath.
  • Combat Tentacles: He has long black tentacles ( actually flaps of his skin), and they are his main source of fighting outside of magical blasts of energy.
  • Comedic Sociopath: Get's a kick out of the suffering of others, especially if it's Jeff who's suffering.
  • Creepily Long Arms: And legs as well.
  • Creepy Monotone
  • Dark Is Evil: His office has many black accents. Slenderman himself wears a black suit and usually secludes himself in darkness.
  • Deadpan Snarker: Big time.
  • Dirty Coward: Very cowardly and slippery when it comes to confrontation.
  • Diabolical Mastermind: At least he tries very hard to be one, if not for the incompetence of his Proxies.
  • The Dreaded: He is feared by monsters and humans alike, even Mancala and Malitch is smart enough to avoid Slenderman.
  • Dreaming of Things to Come: Slenderman has to ability to have prophetic dreams that often detail a horrific event that has yet to come.
  • Eldritch Abomination: A more semi-humanoid version spawned from the remains of the demonic overlord Zalgo, Slenderman can cast all manner of magic from weather manipulation to necromancy. Not only does he have all manner of mystical abilities, but his being is made from formless concentrate evil that allows him to shapeshift into anything, even a hundred of himself. He can even corrupt living creatures by just staring at them. Bonus points for literally being an evil from beyond the mortal realm.
  • Evil Genius: Zig-zagged: Slenderman always has a strategy for his evil plans, but he fails pretty regularly, whether it be from his own arrogance or his idiot followers. He has, though, planned some very intelligent and cunning schemes, such as planning a Batman Gambit against Jeff to overthrow him when Jeff became President of the United States. He clearly isn't a dimwit - he did subjugate the Dark World - but he's prone to errors in judgment.
  • Evil Gloating: Slenderman enjoys taunting his enemies when he believes he has won. It often leads to his own downfall.
  • Evil Is Petty: Oh, hell yes. Despite having higher goals and ambitions, Slenderman cannot resist committing unnecessarily cruel and petty acts to people he's already screwed over, often to prove he can or just for a sick kick at their expense. He ends up taking it to Stupid Evil levels as he always backstabs anyone he makes a deal with, just to laugh at their misfortune.
  • Evil Laugh: He has a ghoulish, echoing laugh.
  • Evil Sounds Deep: He has a very deep voice.
  • Evil Versus Evil: Him versus Zalgo.
  • Faux Affably Evil: Constantly flips between this and Affably Evil: It depends on who he is talking to.
  • Friend to All Children: An Invoked example. Slenderman claims to be this, but it's mostly an act to get people to see him less as a monster. In reality, he's a Child Hater. In addition, considering he killed Death the Kid and, a pre-teen at best, his "friendly" nature towards children is made clear to be null and void.
  • For the Evulz: At least in some respects: Slenderman does what he does because the suffering of others amuses him. Also, Deconstructed since a good half of his plans are foiled by his own inability to be pragmatic.
  • Game Changer: Being the strongest of the Proxies, he's typically this in a fight against whatever enemies the Proxies are pitted against.
  • Genius Bruiser: He is a very powerful demon. He also has an IQ of 480 and understands the human mind enough to manipulate them for his convenience.
  • Genius Ditz: While Slenderman is very academically smart, his choice in Proxies are not very well thought out.
  • Grumpy Old Man: His attitude is akin to that of an old geezer too crabby to even talk to anyone and constantly complains about the racket neighbors are making.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: The only Dark World inhabitant who could rival Jeff in pure anger.
  • Hates the Job, Loves the Limelight: He genuinely hates leading the Proxies, but it has made him quite a recognizable figure in the Dark World. He also enjoys his terrifying reputation he has in the Human World.
  • Healing Factor: One that makes him damn near impossible to kill.
  • Humanoid Abomination: He looks like a very pale human with spidery hands and no face.
  • Hypocrite: One of his defining traits. Slenderman constantly bickers at Jeff and BEN for slacking off and being lazy in general, yet all he does himself half the time is lay by the pool, sleep, and not answer his own mail. He criticizes the Proxies for being childish and uncivilized, while he himself is a Psychopathic Manchild who acts unreasonably cruel if he doesn't get what he wants.
  • Idle Rich: He is a billionaire, thus he has little to do during the day.
  • Insufferable Genius: He is one of the wisest and oldest monsters and he loves making sure others know it.
  • It's All About Me: One of the most selfish characters on the show.
  • Jerkass: He's very arrogant, hard-to-please, snobbish and cruel.
    • Jerk With A Heart Of Jerk: Whenever he seems to have a remotely soft side, this is always subverted because of his ego and cruelty.
  • Kick the Dog: Not unlike his dad, Slenderman enjoys doing this. Threatening to murder Ticci Tobey's beloved cat should Tobey back out of Proxyism, laughing alongside Jeff when he found out Natalie Clockwork's mom died of cancer, his brainwashing of many troubled teens... The list goes on. This takes a literal turn when he is seen giving a dog electric shock therapy in "Outta the Ball Park".
  • Lack of Empathy: Slenderman holds nothing but contempt for lifeforms of any kind, human or monster. He rarely helps anyone without some selfish reason behind it or when his self-preservation kicks in.
  • Laughably Evil: Of the Comically Serious variety.
  • The Leader: He is the headmaster of the Proxies.
  • Lean and Mean: Very slender and very snotty.
  • Lightning Bruiser: He's very fast and can pack a punch in a fight.
  • Likeable Villain: He's pretty hilarious and charming, when he's not killing and/or brainwashing children.
  • Mean Boss: To the Proxies, to the point of Caligula status.
  • Meaningful Name: He is a slender "man", after all.
  • Narcissist: There are thousands of statues and paintings of himself around Proxy Mansion.
  • Never My Fault: He very fails to never take responsibility for his actions.
  • New Powers as the Plot Demands: It's not really clear how far his abilities extend, and he's shown to be capable of dozens of powers, from shapeshifting into any size or shape, projectile magic blasts, spawning time portals, is able to instantly teleport himself and others anywhere in the universe, the power of flight, telekinesis, making rips in space-time, creating sentient minions, is completely immortal, can quickly regenerate from any wound, can "corrupt" places and people, multiply himself into different individuals, and can also see almost anywhere in the universe whenever he wants.
  • Nightmare Fuel Station Attendant: Especially in earlier episodes.
  • Ninja Pirate Zombie Robot: Slenderman is a alien-demon-demigod-''octopus''
  • No Indoor Voice: He very often yells at the Proxies.
  • Not-So-Harmless Villain: Slenderman's later appearances show him in a comedic depression over his inability to achieve his goals. Then the audience is reminded that he's otherwise unstoppable to humans, as he is mentioned to have effortlessly annihilated Cheif Harginsen's previous squad and then killed his partner personally. It's later revealed that he killed an entire army of Stiltwalkers and destroyed their nests.
    • In the episode "Only Human". we also see that he was responsible for Commissioner Johnson losing his son and his depression, and the episode gives special attention to the many children he has kidnapped and families he has separated. Another wake up call that for all his humor, Slenderman is still a monster who has ruined the lives of many.
  • Only Sane Man: One of the most logical characters in the show. That doesn't make him any better, though.
  • The Paragon: An Inverted example. Slenderman encourages every being in the Dark World to be as murderous and evil as possible. He would be successful... if everyone in the Dark World wasn't either stupid, rebellious, a rogue predator, too-crazy-to-control, or an asshole.
  • Perpetual Frowner: He is visibly frowning most of the time.
  • Pet the Dog: Slenderman is actually fairly casual to those who respect him. He has even adopted Sally as his niece and is one of the few Proxies who treats her fairly.
  • Politically Incorrect Villain: He does often target Lara exclusively for being human. He also demonstrates misogynistic traits when taunting Ms. P, ignores Eyeless Jack for being Jewish. Slenderman occasionally shows an ugly homophobic streak as well, calling Ticci Toby a "ponce", BEN a "fairy", and uses terms like "faggot". He calls a black cop "boy", implying racism as well. He also thanks Mr. Widemouth in an audio interview for sending the psychotic mental patients he'd requested, mentioning that the "dribbling monkeys" made for easy brainwashing for the Proxies. He's also an elitist, as shown when he claims driving around isn't what he should do, but rather what minions are for.
  • Psychopathic Manchild: For an ancient and powerful demon who attends operas as a hobby, Slenderman is ultimately rather petty and immature. Not to mention that he easily gets bored or irritated when things aren't going his way.
  • Really 700 Years Old: Slenderman has existed for millions of years.
  • Sadist Teacher: Up to Eleven. See Bad Boss above.
  • Sharp-Dressed Man: He wears a quite a nice tuxedo for a terrifying monster.
  • Slouch of Villainy: Slenderman tends to sink low into his chair whenever grouchy, looking like an old man in an armchair.
  • Smug Snake: Switches between this and Magnificent Bastard.
  • The Sociopath: Self-centered, violent, manipulative and a mass murderer to boot.
  • Sore Loser: Slenderman behaves like a bratty child whenever his schemes fail.
  • Suddenly SHOUTING! He hypocritically tends to veer into this when he's annoyed by the Proxies annoying SCREAMING!!
  • Surrounded by Idiots: His attitude when around the Proxies.
  • Straight Man: Whenever he has to put up with Jeff and BEN.
  • Tall, Dark, and Snarky: Covers all the criteria.
  • Team Dad: Seems to be one to the Proxies.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: He really loves caviar and chocolate molten lava cake.
  • Tragic Villain: As big of a child-brainwashing sadist he is, the show makes it abundantly clear that he is just as much a victim of Zalgo as anyone else. He was born to the demonic tyrant, who raised him from birth to be how he is, complete with brutal punishments and beatings. He never had any choice from the moment he was born.
  • Training from Hell: From an early age, Slenderman and his siblings were subjected to brutal, one-sided pit-fights against fully trained demons of Zalgo's army and were punished for showing any sign of cowardice or weakness.
  • Ungrateful Bastard: He didn't even bother thanking Mr. Widemouth for getting rid of Proxy Mansion's growing rat problem.
  • Upper-Class Twit: "Jeff, we do not drive ourselves, driving is for the help!"
  • Voice of the Legion
  • Wicked Cultured: He's a serial child murderer, but also attends weekly operas and buys expensive paintings.
  • Would Hurt a Child: Slenderman tends to play with this trope. Given his past crimes and ruthlessness, he definitely doesn't care about the age of anyone he harms.

    Splendorman

"A joke a day keeps the reaper away!"

Splendorman is the older brother of the infamous being, the Slenderman. Like his younger brother, he wants to wipe clean his ancestors’ name and be accepted. However, he openly went up against his father and had his powers removed and was nearly killed before being saved by his uncle, Sexual Offenderman. He now goes around spreading joy and happiness under the name the Splendorman.

    Sexual Offenderman

Sexual Offenderman is a member of the Slender family and is the Uncle of the Slenderman and the brother of Lord Zalgo. Unlike most of his species, however, he prefers to go after young women, almost similar to that of an Incubus. He is known for his flamboyancy and for being a heavy smoker.
  • All Men Are Perverts: We don't need to go there.
  • Anything That Moves: So much so that he almost had sex with a severed head Jeff brought to Proxy Mansion.
  • Bestiality Is Depraved: "Yeah, that's what separates us from the giraffes. That and the armed guards at the zoo. Man, they got some sexy giraffes down there."
  • Black Comedy Rape: Anytime he rapes/molests someone is played for laughs. For example, one scene cuts in on him spooning an uncomfortable Laughing Jack in his bed. He then pats Jack on the back and says "You look so peaceful sleeping." Once he leaves, Jack starts crying and screaming "WHHHHHHYYYY?!.
  • Cain and Abel: The Abel to Zalgo's Cain. He ain't no saint, but Sexual Offenderman is nowhere near as bad as Zalgo.
  • Creepy Uncle: So much so that Slenderman never lets him in Proxy Mansion.
  • Depraved Bisexual
  • Dirty Old Man: Considering he's eons old, he can easily be considered this.
  • Drink Order: He always orders a latte with extra foam every Saturday morning. This is exploited by Jeff and BEN, who shoves him into a freezer by putting said latte inside. He ends up land on himself, spilling the coffee. He is last seen sitting in the freezing room looking forlorn at his empty latte cup.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: He despises Zalgo and avoids contacting him, seeing Zalgo's cruelty towards others as going too far. He even tried to save Splendorman and Slenderman from Zalgo but was only successful in saving Splendorman.
  • The Friend Nobody Likes: Almost no one in Slenderman's family like him, for reasons that should be obvious.
  • Hidden Heart of Gold: See Papa Wolf below.
  • Kavorka Man: To an extreme.
  • Meaningful Name
  • Nice Hat: He wears a fedora, which Jeff and BEN quickly poke fun at.
  • Papa Wolf: He endangered his life to save his nephews from Zalgo and protected Splendorman from Zalgo's forces as he grew up.
  • Really Gets Around: Whether they like it or not.
  • Serial Rapist: What he does for a living.
  • Soft-Spoken Sadist
  • Smoking Is Cool: Is almost always seen smoking.
  • Would Hurt a Child: Let's not go there shall we?
  • Would Hit a Girl: In more than one way...
