Main page here. Obsidian Rhapsody is an RPG that deconstructs the Eastern RPG. Since there are Loads and Loads of Characters, it gets its own character sheet. A character sheet which is incomplete, for the moment.Spoilers ahead. Though that warning probably doesn't matter, seeing as the spoilers are covered up anyway.
Main CharactersTau MarxusAn extremely cynical 38-year-old "ex-hero" who led a team of heroes that defeated an evil sorcerer named Axos; however, in the battle that finally killed Axos off for good, Tau lost his love interest, Celeste, a member of the team of heroes. As a result, Tau gradually became extremely cynical. After saving the world, and disappearing into obscurity with the other surviving heroes, Tau became a hermit on the outskirts of the town of Dohoto, where he was generally despised by the populace because of his Jerkass tendencies. He also contracted the White Death around three years ago, and since there isn't a cure, Tau goes off with Eiolis Forge and Septimus Roth, both former squadmates of his, to find out how the White Death was caused. He is technically the game's main protagonist, as the game starts from his perspective and he is often used as a narrator of sorts; however, he is not The Hero, not in the slightest.
An ex-soldier and former member of Tau's Axos-beating team of heroes, she now runs a private mercenary company with fellow ex-hero Septimus Roth. She had a relatively upper-class upbringing within the city of Imperium, badly-named capital of the Amanian Empire; she rejected this upbringing and joined the army, rising to the rank of sergeant at a stupidly premature age before ditching the army to join Tau in his quest to vanquish Axos. She is also known for being rather brutal and pragmatic in combat, as well as extremely protective of the younger party members. You do not want to hurt the younger party members when she is present. She doesn't like that.
A former member of Tau's team of heroes, he is a large black man and expert swordsman who was initially (during the "old party" days) Tau's bitter rival before joining his side. Now, he runs a private mercenary company with fellow burnt-out hero Eiolis. He is the most typically heroic of the "new party", and even becomes the team's leader once Quentin leaves the role believing himself to be incompetent. Although a Nice Guy, his idealism often gets trampled on by "the cynical ways of the world".
The initial de facto leader of the party, a "trainee wizard" and former student at the Wizard Academy (the actual name; wizards aren't particularly imaginative).

As you can see, this page needs a bit of work. As has been stated before, collaborators would help. Go to the main Obsidian Rhapsody page to learn more.
