The titular McQueen, we see Lee a broken man on the cusp of reality struggling to continue his work, though one night may renew his passions, at least until the morning.

Originated by Stephen Wight.

Tropes:

  • Berserk Button: Does not take too kindly to what he thinks is Dahlia making fun of or belittling Isabella's attempts at suicide.

Dahlia

"Motherfucker."

She is the girl who lived in the tree: a 20-year-old worker at one of the McQueen shops in London, she is dealing herself with ill mental health and wants to commit suicide. However, she needs a dress to die in. This prompts the journey "down the rabbit hole" (Lee's words) they take that night.

Originated by Dianna Agron, also played by Carly Bawden.

Tropes:

  • Dressing to Die: Was going to steal one of Lee's dresses so she can mean something when she dies.
  • Driven to Suicide: Depending on your interpretation, her being a manifestation of Lee's mental state makes this a foregone conclusion. She tries to cut herself and OD on drugs she takes with vodka. However, given the option to jump off a skyscraper she chooses to live.
  • Lady Looks Like a Dude: Is offended when Lee takes her to a men's tailors, shouting "Am I androgynous-looking?"
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: Prone to anything containing the f-word.

Mr Hitchcock

Lee's old mentor and friend who helps him create the dress to save Dahlia, striking up a rapport with the girl.

Originated by David Shaw-Parker, also played by Michael Bertenshaw.

A journalist that Lee does not like, and who does not like Dahlia, though none of the three let their opinions prevent an interesting interview.
