    Masters (Independent)
Bethany S. Innsmouth

"Yes, yes! This is the very definition of wicked pissah! Wonderful abominations from an alien dimension that humans can't understand. This is everything I wanted to see and then some!"

A Dead Apostle operating mainly in the state of Massachusetts, in the good ol' United States of America. An innocent-looking, yet deeply unhinged gothic lolita type, originally hailing from a long line of magi obsessed with Daemons and other-dimensional beings.

Played by: Kost

  • Be Careful What You Wish For: The people tried to scapegoat her as "the Devil". She ended up transforming into just that.
  • Blue-and-Orange Morality: What she frequently refers to as the "alien common sense". She rejects human common sense and morals, loves everything humans consider taboo, and generally acts randomly from a human perspective.
  • Butt-Monkey: Her vampiric minion called Shanna seems to be this. She either gets abused and treated poorly by Bethany, or she keeps getting beaten up by other characters.
  • Catchphrase: "Wicked" and "pissah", usually used in combination with each other. Word of God says this is meant to be a Shout-Out to Caster's Master from Fate/Zero, Ryuunosuke Uryuu, who said "Cool" all the time.
  • Cute and Psycho: She does all the things a Monster would do, and talks casually about doing them... but gosh darnit, look at that adorable smile!
  • Daddy's Girl: She's implied to have been that when her father was still alive.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: Her family were accused of being Satanists and killed in front of Bethany's eyes when she was only a girl. She was also accused of being "Satan incarnate", stripped in public, brutally beaten and starved. That all happened before she turned into a vampire.
  • Elegant Gothic Lolita: Her default fashion sense is this.
  • Expy: Of Francesca Prelati according to Word of God.
  • Funetik Aksent: She speaks in a distinct Boston accent. Luckily, it's not that explicit in the way her dialog is written.
  • Lonely Rich Kid: Subverted in that while she grew up with no friends, she never felt the need to socialize with children her age.
  • Lovecraft Country: The town Bethany grew up in is implied to have been this. It was even located in Massachusetts.
  • Mad Love: For Chi Xing Ming.
  • Master of Illusion: She is very proficient in Illusion-based magecraft.
  • Meaningful Name: Bethany was the Biblical town where Lazarus lived. Innsmouth's origins are much more obvious.
  • Names to Run Away from Really Fast: She calls herself "the Satan of Massachusetts".
  • Nightmare Fetishist: She's implied to have done the nasty with Caster's Horrors. She also fantasizes about Chi Xing Ming's demonic arm doing nasty things to her.
  • Older Than They Look: Despite having the appearance of a teenage girl, she's actually hundreds of years old.
  • Our Vampires Are Different: She became a Dead Apostle not through the traditonal method of being bitten by one, but by having her existence altered by people's "wishes".
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: Has these, as is standard for Dead Apostles.
  • Satan: Originally what the people called her, later became her moniker as a Dead Apostle.
  • Shout-Out: Does these in spades. Most notable examples are referencing various works of H.P. Lovecraft, as well as quoting her fellow vampire DIO.
    • "No matter how creative you try to be to break the monotony, in the end all sandwiches are made of bread, and that's a law of the World that can never change... How many breads have you eaten, Mad Daddy~?"
    • "Wryyy..."
  • Slasher Smile: Does this quite frequently.
  • Starfish Language: She sometimes speaks in fluent R'lyehian.
  • Trauma Button: Despite possessing Super-Toughness as a vampire, Bethany seems to react extremely negatively to pain, presumably due to her Dark and Troubled Past.
  • Ugly Cute: What she considers Caster's Horrors to be.
  • Voluntary Shapeshifting: Uses this frequently. Her favorite usage of this seems to be growing Combat Tentacles out of her body.
  • Would Hurt a Child: She sacrifices children for her Servant summoning ritual. She's also shown to turn children into her vampiric minions.
  • Wicked Cultured: Subverted. While she is indeed well educated in certain aspects, dresses the part and even lives in a Big Fancy House, her behavior usually steps on Genki Girl territory.
  • The Xenophile: Big time. She's fascinated by Eldritch Abominations of all kinds, while she considers humans boring.

Misaki Edogawa

Placeholder Quote

A detective in training born from a famed Japanese detective and a British aristocratic lady. She solves mundane cases, but this is really a front as her purpose is to solve supernatural crime related to rogue magi or others involving magecraft.

Played by: Sky

  • Amateur Sleuth: Not connected to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police yet as she’s still in high school, but she manages to come onto the crime scene to try to solve the mystery anyway.
  • Blue Blood: From her mother’s side of the family, she’s the daughter of an British aristocratic family of mages.
  • Born Detective: From the start of the Edogawa family having their famous debut in the Meiji era which earned their place as the legendary detectives of both mundane and supernatural merit to the present day with her father serving as a professional detective for the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department.
  • Expy: To Shinichi Kudo, both of them are high school detectives who are not connected to the police department in any way, a fan of Sherlock Holmes, and have a great love for solving mysteries.
  • Heroic Bystander: Prefers to be independent from all the main factions to work on her own terms.
  • Kid Detective: Most people find it hard to believe that she’s only 17 years old.
  • Occult Detective: Her family’s main job is to solve supernatural crime when not out solving the most mundane cases.
  • The Stoic: She defaults to this when investigating crime and not minding much to snoop at dead bodies if she has to. She’s also composed outside of her job.

    Masters (Clock Tower)
Isolde Guillaume

"I should be taking a breather, but the thing is...I frankly don't know how to relax. All the pressure of being expected to keep up appearances and the ill rumors seemed to cripple my ability to relax for a while."

Isolde is the second-born princess of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Her family's magecraft specialty is plants and her tome, Brunhilde, is capable of doing such a feat with her specialty too. Her Servant is Helen of Troy of the Caster class.

Played by: Sky

  • All-Loving Hero: She loves everyone regardless if they're irredeemable. The poor girl wants to see everyone happy.
  • Ancestral Weapon: Both Brunhilde and Sigivald were both family heirlooms from the royal lineage of Luxembourg. They are also considered to be regalia as well.
  • The Baby of the Bunch: Generally was called the baby of the family because she's the youngest.
  • Bodyguard Crush: Had one on Takashi Emiya, Noritaka's Extracanonical grand-nephew, which became a full-blown secret marriage with a son.
  • Break the Cutie: Isolde's parents die from an assassination and she falls into a deep depression because of it.
  • Cool Sword: Sigivald, a Mystic Code that takes the form of a sword, is the family's sword that can be used by any member of the royal family.
  • The Cutie: Innocent, sweet, and adorably nice.
  • Daddy's Girl: She loves her father very much.
  • Elemental Powers
    • An Ice Person: Her Elemental Magecraft has the power to generate ice.
    • Blow You Away: Her Tempest Floret spell. It summons human-sized tornadoes to shred foes.

    • Like Edelgard von Hresvelg, she is the youngest sibling of her family, her family’s dynasty ruled for a long time, and has an imperial lineage through Charlemagne and Empress Josephine of France.
    • Like Shoto Todoroki, she has a massive amount of siblings, has both fire and ice powers, and is the youngest child of the family. However, her father isn't a total jackass, but she does have a lot of emotional baggage following both her parents' deaths.
    • Surprisingly one to Anastasia Nikolaevna Romanova, both have ice powers and are the youngest daughters of the royal family with a lot of siblings.
  • Famous Ancestor: Among her family's ancestry are notable people including Siegfried of Luxembourg, Olga of Kiev, William the Conqueror, and Charlemagne himself. She even has a close bloodline with the founder of the House of Capet, Hugh Capet and the Sun King himself. Though most of her ancestry can be traced to the Kings of France and Navarre and the Danish, British and Swedish royals.
  • Good Parents: Is a good mother to her son.
  • Green Thumb: Her Magecraft specialty.
  • Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: Has platinum blonde hair and is by far one of the nicer magi.
  • Healing Hands: The Healing Petals spell heals others with petals.
  • Little Sister Heroine: She's a little sister to her older siblings and is very heroic.
  • Lonely Rich Kid: Never had more than a few friends her age except for the servants and her siblings.

  • Tough Leader Façade: Her past trauma from a year ago following her parents' death made her assume the cold and stoic front of her princess persona though she only remains kind to her friends and family.
  • Warrior Princess: Despite being overshadowed by her elder siblings, she can pack a punch with her Magecraft and swordplay.

Takashi Emiya
Placeholder

Born to a side branch of the Emiya Family, whose disgrace was postponed in this timeline due to Noritaka not messing with Vampirism, Takashi was a prodigy who discovered how to shelter a Bounded Field inside himself, allowing him to use the Emiyas' Time Alter Magic within his own body. Ascending to the rank of Enforcer in the then-united Mages' Association, Takashi then ended up confronting Noritaka himself in the city of Fukushima in 2011... And the resulting confrontation resulted in a nuclear reactor melting down and thousands dying. He now works to atone for the deaths of so many people, and even fallen in love with Isolde Guilliame (a love which ended in a secret, but loving marriage and a son), but due to his actions in the name of atoning for his failure, he is greeted with suspicion by many, including Isolde's own Servant, Helen of Troy. His Servant used to be Artoria Pendragon (Lily).

Played By: Smite

  • Anti-Magic: Has the Origin of 'Congestion', which allows him to cut off the enemy's flow of prana whenever he strikes them with his fists or a weapon tempered with his own blood. Essentially a cheaper version of Kiritsugu's Origin Bullets from Canon.
  • Bodyguard Crush: Was the subject of this by Isolde, ending in their marriage.
  • Expy: Of both Kiritsugu and Shirou Emiya from Canon. Made slightly weirder by the fact that Kiritsugu is still alive and married to Shirley in this timeline while the divergences from Canon also means that Shirou is an ordinary person who has nothing to do with Magecraft (and also alive and well without his canon issues, natch).
  • Happily Married: His marriage to Isolde marriage is secret and not legally recognized, but he genuinely loves her and their son.
  • My Greatest Failure: The Fukushima disaster.
  • Good Old Fisticuffs: Takashi has been trained in modern CQC techniques.
  • Good Parents: Is this to his son, Roman Nikolai Airik Guillaume.
  • The Atoner: Is trying to be this, even though an argument could be made that it wasn't his fault.
  • The Gunslinger: Has trained in modern weaponry, including guns.
  • Time Master: Can use Time Alter to speed up his reactions, something thought impossible outside of a Bounded Field, by infusing said Bounded Field into himself so that his body can receive the benefits of Time Alter.

Myra

"The linking fourth concealed itself. Had it only ended at the third, someone said."

The fourth magician, the Chronicler. An entity without a beginning or end. And the overseer of the world's information. An entity that sees all, yet does not exist.

    Masters (Yggdmillennia)
Adolf Tolkien Yggdmillennia

"I won't force you to stay in Yggdmillennia, but just know this; When the great tree rises above all, they will look up to us. Seek us and not just stare at some monument with a clock."

Adolf Tolkien Yggdmillennia is a magus of the Yggdmillennia by blood and shall be the running heir to rule over the entirety of the faction. While having to share the same sentiments and acknowledged his family’s goals to obtaining the Holy Grail, Adolf had different plans in hopes to reshape Yggdmillennia altogether. As of 8/19/2020, he is still the Acting Leader of Yggdmillenia, but Zoé, a formerly loyal member, is going to usurp Yggdmillenia from the current head and thus disinherit him.

Played by: Notes

Airik Endre

"I mean, Runes are the best thing ever, so of course I'll spend as much time on it as I can... Ah. I'd love to spend all day, but I gotta get out more or something stupid like that. But anyway... Won't people feel the same way about their magecraft? I mean, I'll prove runecraft as the best one day, so until then I guess they should carry on working hard."

Airik is heir to the Endre clan, a Rune-centric family of magi with ties to the Thule Society. Due to being deemed too unstable to become family head, he was sent to Yggdmillennia by his father, who hoped that they would help him mature into a more proper magus.

Played by: Mr. Joker

Lucy Endre

"They... our f-family wants us to fight, but I... d-do not want to. I just want to... b-be brother and sister, properly..."

Lucy is Airik's older sister. After recovering from her injuries caused by their duel, she was sent off to Yggdmillennia as well, where she hopes to redeem her relationship with her brother.

Played by: Neetshot

Ludolfina Wolfsangel Yggdmillennia

"I am the motherly She-Wolf of Yggdmillennia. Just like the legendary beast that breastfed the twin founders of Rome as infants, I shall nurse all of these abandoned children into mature magi."

Ludolfina is the current head of the Wolfsangel family, a German magi bloodline said to have descended from an ancient werewolf. She's an eccentric magus who cares about others. She's a member of the Yggdmillennia clan, although not related to them by blood.

Played by: Kost

  • Supernatural Gold Eyes: She has golden eyes due to her werewolf ancestry.
  • Team Mom: She's called "the motherly She-Wolf of Yggdmillennia" for a reason.
  • Werewolf Theme Naming: Ludolfina is a feminine form of Ludolf, which is derived from the Germanic name Hludwolf which was composed of the elements hlud "famous" and wolf "wolf". The Wolfsangel was a German heraldic charge inspired by historic wolf traps. The symbol was also used as insignia in Nazi Germany.

Silas Arden
"Well what can I say about a little girl who's obsessed with them bloody arquebuses. Bloody lucky the little one didn't kill me the first I met 'em. Oh and you wanna know the part I left out, the tiny bugger was sent to turn me t' brown bread..."
Silas is the black sheep of his especially black sheep family (by magus standards), specializing in the creation of Automatons and tinkering; in other words, he acts as the artificer of Yggdmillenia
Played by: Mavro

  • Blue-Collar Warlock: With a fire producing baseball bat and an eye for some forms of Magecraft, Silas isn’t exactly what would be called a regular magus.
  • Berserk Button: His response to a magus breaking his automata? Having a rather sensible talk about respecting his time and hard work (Read as: Busting their kneecaps and breaking an arm before they fell into shock).
  • Prankster: With a minor penchant for pranks and general other activities, he tends to cause problems with toy soldier styled automata… such as stocking up on his pocky supply via Yggdmillennia’s pantry.
  • Butt-Monkey: Barry, an automata that has lost its legs due to a misplacement, is often the target of few things such as having a building collapse on it before being degraded to a mere novelty hanging in his room (this doesn’t mean it’s safe from any abuse regardless)
  • Ironic Name: With both his first and last name relating to nature, this nature theme is averted via his constant enjoyment of technology and machines in general.
  • Respect The Pipe: While most magi tend to focus on spells and magical flying daggers, Silas prefers to beat some people senseless with a bat.

Sofia Yggdmillennia

"According to the man I met with, this will be my new home with a new family, Grandpapa... You always told me that, if I wanted a family, I'd have to seek one... Are you proud of me?"

A new recruit of Yggdmillennia who specializes in creating and controlling dolls. She is working on getting past her social awkwardness, at least with those she wants to become familiar with.

Played by: Dream Roar

Zoé

"Being friends is easy! First you find someone, then you talk to them! I did that with you, so that makes us friends now! Unless... you do not want to be friends with me."

A homunculus deemed as a "failure" by her creators. After escaping into the world, Zoé was adopted into the Yggdmillennia family and given a new identity to call her own.

Played by: Sage

William Verlow

"You on the other hand. I don't know you. It wouldn't matter if you knew about my past. You are not the last thing I have left of my old life. It is the one thing I fear more than my memory. It is to lose what I manage to keep off my old self."

A freelancer temporarily employed by Yggdmillennia. A fallen legend haunted by the crimes he committed in the name of "peace". A mundane pawn in the greater game.

Played by: Lidor

  • Asskicking Leads to Leadership: Considered as one of the greatest soldiers in the British armed forces and was promoted to be an officer when there was no one left to replace the ones that died. It was likely by his skill and experience as a soldier that allowed him to become an officer of the special air services.
  • The Dreaded: He is by those that did manage to survive the slaughter of Al-zanta.
  • Experienced Protagonist: William used to be a soldier and a high officer before he became a freelancer. A hardened fighter and experienced leader from spending five years in the conflict-heavy middle east.
  • Fire-Forged Friends: How they build so much trust between each other. During Williams early years of service, he meet a young specialist officer named Rebeca Foster. It was during these uncertain times they became a rather notorious Battle Couple, Fighting their way across the middle east until they ultimately went down two different paths. One was transferred to the Special Air Services and the other to the Secret Intelligence Service or more commonly known, MI6.
  • Fish out of Water: William was never raised a Magus. So when he was exposed to the supernatural elements that are considered to be the norm by "normal" Magus, it took quite a while for him to adjust to this new world of his.
  • I Did What I Had to Do: How he tries to justify his acts of cruelty and evil that he committed to enforcing peace and order. There is, however not a day that he second guess his decision.
  • I Regret Nothing: Is what he says in one way or another if he is confronted about the evil things he has done. However, there are a few characters that can tell that they are clearly BlatantLies , sensing that he does have remorse and regret of his actions.
  • Kick the Dog: Or so William threatens that he do it again. During some of his years as a negotiator, he only had to point at what happened at Al-zanta to make minor warlords and smaller bandit tribes to surrender and to lay down their weapons
  • Like an Old Married Couple: His old friend/Adjutant Rebeca Foster is considered by him to be his oldest and most trusted friend, the feeling is mutual. Though that doesn't save him from her snarky and rude remarks.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: His overall thoughts and reaction to his most infamous act.
  • My Greatest Failure: Of what he became later on in his life. William knows his younger self would despise the man that he is.
  • Shell-Shocked Veteran: His origin keeps him remembering the brightest and worst moments in his life everytime he sleeps. You can guess what kind of memories he keeps seeing over and over again.
  • Strictly Professional Relationship: William and Rebeca has spent a long time with each other, and they know each other more than they known themselves. Which has led people calling their relationship more than just "friends". They did once share a look that could have ended with things being more than just being friends. But ultimately they both decided that things would become more complicated than it should be, and so never spoke about it ever again.

    Masters (Demon Hunters Organization)

Xiulan Qing

"I do sneak away from the crowds often. As I’m not suited to being in front of large crowds like my aunt, she still wants me to act in the capacity of a member of the imperial family anyway."

The imperial princess of China who is the niece of Tianshi Qing, the current reigning empress of the Chinese Empire. She has the expected refined demeanor of a princess, but Xiulan has some quirks to go along with it when she’s not under the watchful eye of the imperial court officials. Her Servant is Amina of Zazzau who’s summoned as a Saber.

Played by: Sky

  • Lady of War: Fights gracefully like a butterfly as much as she uses her manners.
  • Modest Royalty: She acts very casual when not acting on the capacity of royalty as she loves to make puns and go out like a normal teenager.
  • Royals Who Actually Do Something: Like her aunt, she is a member of the Chinese branch of the Demon Hunters who seek to destroy supernatural threats to China as a whole.
  • Supernatural Martial Arts: Neigong allows Xiulan to enhance her martial arts techniques with magecraft in order to have her fight stronger than she already would.

    Servants
Artoria Pendragon (Lily)

"Sword of Selection, grant me power! Smite the wicked, Caliburn!"

Artoria Pendragon in her Lily form. She's the more happy-go-lucky and nicer counterpart than her vanilla version. She is currently Takashi Emiya's Servant, her previous Master had cut off ties with her suddenly.

Played by: Sky

Baron Roman von Ungern-Sternberg

A Berserker obsessed with monarchy and traditional forms of rule, as well as Buddhism and Asian culture. He possesses a contradictory way of thinking that combines madness and intellect, as he fights uncompromisingly against the "depravity of revolution".

Played by: Kost

  • Divine Right of Kings: His main belief is that monarchy is the political system chosen by God and the opinions of the people are irrelevant.
  • Knight Templar: His cruel deeds were all done in the name or restoring monarchic order during an age of violent revolution. He considers rebels of any kind to be enemies of the world that deserve death, but he maintains just enough morality to not be considered a monster.

  • Red Baron: Or rather, the Mad Baron. Also the Bloody Baron.
  • Technicolor Eyes: Hazel to be precise, with a tiny bit of red.

Beowulf

''"I'm Beowulf, and im the monster who is going to beat down all you servants who think they're getting the grail!"
