Demon Lord Aligned

     Rika

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rika_nonaka_t.gif
  • Fiery Redhead: Rika has a lot of personality (read: "anger") and isn't afraid to talk back to even incredibly powerful Megas. Luckily Daemon and Lilithmon both like her spunk, Sovrano thinks its endearing, and Inari tolerates it much like she does Sovrano's quirks.
  • Badass Normal: Given that Rika is a human surrounded by digimon, but still feels the need to get involved, there are shades of this. Highlighted when she pushed the reborn Gotsumon off a cliff to go to his next incarnation.
  • The Lost Lenore: thanks in part to Rain's romantic meddling, Rika, Laila and Reycom were potentially on track to become an OT3. With no sign of her data after the attack by Lucemon, it's possible that she may be resigned to this fate.

     Salima

  • Expy: Of Salima from Beyblade, down to having a partner Digimon who is being cybernetically augmented to become Baihumon, a Digimon based on the same Japanese mythology as Driger/Cyber Driger.

     Kane

  • Expy: Of Kane/Cain from Beyblade, down to having a partner Digimon who is being cybernetically augmented to become Azulongmon, a Digimon based on the same Japanese mythology as Dragoon/Cyber Dragoon.

     Jim

  • Expy: Of Jim from Beyblade, down to having a partner Digimon who is being cybernetically augmented to become Ebonwumon, a Digimon based on the same Japanese mythology as Draciel/Cyber Draciel.

     Wyatt

  • Expy: Of Wyatt from Beyblade, down to having a partner Digimon who is being cybernetically augmented to become Zhuqiaomon, a Digimon based on the same Japanese mythology as Dranzer/Cyber Dranzer.

Light Aligned

     Zudokorn

Yes, he is as epic as his facial hair implies.
  • Papa Bear: Thanks to his and Cecilia's drunken escapades; he is going to be a father. Given his strength and general demeanor, he most definitely will fall under this trope if anything threatens his family.

     Henry
  • Closer to Earth: Out of his group, Henry appears to be the most rational of them and tends to not as easily jump to conclusions.

     Marcus
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/marcus_damon_t.gif
  • Adaptational Jerkass: While Marcus is as Hot-Blooded as he was in Savers, here he’s also a jerk who belittles his opponents and a self-righteous hypocrite whose actions border on Moral Myopia.
  • Hot-Blooded: Oh he is he ever, he once saw Smoke throw the first punch against some Goblimon and proceed to beat the daylights out of them, so he attacks Smoke thinking he was the one causing the trouble, also based off an earlier experience of a Black Agumon attacking people before. Though he was quite incorrect in his assumption this time as the Goblimon were part of a group that was attacking the politician Blue's wife, Indigo.
  • Child Soldier: He is rather young and he officially part of the Union of Light's army.

Miscellaneous Humans

     Takato
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/takato.jpg
  • Ret-Gone: Due to Coal's interference and absorption of the Digital Hazard, Guilmon is never created, leaving Takato partnerless and, so far as the readers are aware, completely left out of the Digital World.

     Kenshin

Kenshin Crossroad - The Intrepid Reporter

  • Expy: A minor one of Ikki from Medabots, as a dark haired man who is in a relationship with an expy of Erika. He possesses some remainders of Ikki's younger personality, but is a matured individual who has grown and changed meaning it is less apparent.
    • He is a more explicit one of Mr. Crossroad from Gundam 00, being an Intrepid Reporter whose searching for the truth proved fatal while possessing a daughter who takes after him while looking like their mother given Erika and Kinue's physical resemblance, and a son who is soft but smart with an interest in mechanically inclined toys like the future space engineer Saji.
  • Intrepid Reporter: Will interview anyone and research anything he can if it means doing his job, up to and including Demon Lords and their servants. He wants to report the truth, and he is willing to take risks to do so in memory of his deceased wife. This leads to his death when someone displeased with his snooping around and finding out/revealing vital information decides to have him killed.
  • Name Order Confusion: He is Japanese, so it caused Torch some confusion about what to call him. Kenshin cleared things up: Kenshin is his actual name, while his family name isn't completely heard by Coal since they were leaving and it had exceeded the scope of his interest. This confusion was done to obfuscate his actual last name of Crossroad, as knowing who he was an Expy of earlier would have revealed his overall plot thread.
