    Beast Tamers
The Beast Tamers are so named because, in Season 2, they each gain the power of one of The Saint Beasts, from Duel Monsters cards they won in a Trivia Contest, no less. (But not the same Saint Beasts from YuYu Hakusho. Those guys were merely "posers", as one of the real Saint Beasts put it.) In Season 1, the Beast Tamers and the Victory Tamers were just "the Tamers".See also: Digimon Tamers

Himura Tsubasa & Inumon (OC)note

Himura voiced by: Johnny Yong Bosch
Inumon voiced by: Travis Willingham
When Himura was younger, before the events of Season 1, he was in a car crash that killed his parents and sent him into a coma. While in the coma, he is transported into the Digital Underworld, where he is attacked by a wild digimon and loses an eye. He is saved by Kotori, a tomboyish girl who ended up in the Underworld after being pushed down some stairs, and her partner Seadramon, who was once the MetalSeadramon of the Dark Masters. He also meets Inumon, a servant of Anubimon, the ruler of the Underwold, who later becomes his partner. They fight Basilikmon, a digimon who is trying to usurp Anubimon's throne, but before they can defeat him, Kotori is killed. After the battle, Himura is sent back to the real world and wakes up from his coma, only to find Inumon waiting for him. He lives with his grandparents and his younger sister, Yui. He and Inumon meet the Tamers during the Pharaohmon incident. Later, he gains the power of Byakko, giving him ferrokinesis (magnetic powers) and the ability to transform into Himakko.

Inumon is basically an Expy of Inuyasha and Miroku. He has all the brashness of Inuyasha, and all the lecherousness of Miroku, the latter of which is usually directed towards Renamon. He can digivolve into HellInumon (Champion), InfernoInumon (Ultimate), and YoukaiInumon (Mega). In Season 3, Himmako and Inumon Bio-Merge to form AuroraInumon (OC)note . It is revealed that Inumon was infected by the X-Virus that his collar was meant to suppress it. Destroyed however in Chapter 52 of Dawn of Chaos, Inumon dark digivolve into DexInumon. Thankfully it didn't last long.

Golden Kirin

The combine form of the Beast Tamers, first appear in Chapter 60 of Dawn of Chaos against Valmarmon.

    Victory Tamers
After Takato, Rika, Henry, and Himura were granted the powers of the Saint Beasts, the "B-Team" were sent on a mission in the Digital World to defend the Amazon Digimon from Medusamon. Since Kaiba had fused the Digital World with the Duel Monsters Spirit World, they meet Amazoness Swordswoman (a Duel Monster) who leads them to the Lights of Victory, the essences of 5 animals which are sacred to the Amazoness (Duel Monster) tribe. The Lights grant each of them a power, which manifests itself as a colored aura. In Season 1, the Beast Tamers and the Victory Tamers were just "the Tamers". During Dawn of Chaos/Season 3, the Victory Tamers' D-Arks received upgrades. Thanks to the Moon Fairy Trio's magic, their devices were changed and are now called DDM-Gattai (or, Digimon-Duel Monster Merge). These devices function akin to the Xros Loaders from Xros Wars. They can store Digimon and/or Duel Monsters, and make 'Yuugou Evolution' (the Jogress between a Digimon and Duel Monster) possible. The Victory Tamers each received their own Duel Monster army to function with their Digimon partners. These devices are believed to even fuse unpartnered Digimon and Duel Monsters. The DDM-Gattais are believed to bring about the 'new wave of Digimon and Duel Monster evolutions'. See Also: Characters/Digimon Tamers

Phillipe Sagara & Jaguarmon (OC)note

Phillipe voiced by: Todd Haberkorn
Jaguarmon voiced by: Ashleigh Ball
Phillipe is the younger cousin of Kotori, the girl Himura met in the Underworld. His effeminate looks have caused people to mistake him for a girl, which caused an undue amount of bullying that Kotori usually had to protect him from. Himura takes up the role of his friend/protector at Kotori's request, so he is on hand when the Amazons summon the B-Team Tamers to the Digital World. There he meets Jaguarmon, his partner. His Light of Victory power is speed, his aura is yellow (not the Red of a Sentai series leader), and his spirit animal is the jaguar (to match his partner). Has a dark purple aura when descending into the madness of the Black Panther. Thankfully it didn't last long twice.

Jaguarmon is a member of the proud, man-hating Amazons. She also mistook Phillipe for a girl at first, and shunned him when he found out the truth. When Phillipe saves her life, however, they form a bond of friendship that creates Phillipe's digivice and allows Jaguarmon to digivolve. Jaguarmon digivolves to SaberJaguarmon (Champion), Catramon (Ultimate), Artemismon (Mega), and Artemismon Lunar Mode (with the Moon Fairy Trio).
