-> Née ''Jed Stone'. A recurring character during the 1960s era of the show, who would devise quick rich schemes through (mostly non legal) ways. He lodged with Coronation Street resident Minnie Caldwell who had a fondness for him and referred to him as "Sunny Jim". He made a surprise reappearance 42 years later in 2008 in which he was evicted by crooked businessman Tony Gordon, and later got into a feud with him which nearly led to him being strangled to death. Jed was then sent to Wigan by Tony to be kept out of the way.

I think comparatively, Leanne fits as the "tomboy" to Carla's "girly girl" given their personalities and backgrounds.

* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: She's generally a lot less conventionally feminine than her long-time love rival, Carla. Carla wears more jewelry and is a more refined upper-class woman, while Leanne is a more feisty and scrappy Battersby girl at heart.
