Added DiffLines:

* DroppedABridgeOnHim: His death is ultimately unceremonious. He was expecting to die in a climactic moment with him being Geassed by Lelouch, only for the latter to reject his request out of disgust for what he did, and after his death is promptly forgotten by everyone else. Then again, he's a slimy and weaselly excuse of a man, so it's actually [[KarmicDeath quite fitting]].

Added DiffLines:

* HateSink: Ultimately, Diethard is a disgusting and reprehensible man who cares for nothing more than causing as much destruction, carnage, warfare and death as possible to entertain himself, and is always willing to go for the option that maximizes those. It's quite telling that he dies a pathetic but nonetheless appropriate death.

Added DiffLines:

* MoreHateableMinorVillain: Diethard is the TokenEvilTeammate of Lelouch's Black Knights who only wants bloodshed. He uses his media connections to stoke the flames of war, urges Lelouch to wage global war, and even has the gall to [[spoiler:betray Lelouch in favor of Schneizel and his super weapon apocalypse plot]], showing that while Lelouch wants to free the world from Britannian tyranny, Diethard only wants to see people die.

* AxCrazy: He may not be stark raving mad like say Luciano but all he cares about is cares about causing as much death and destruction to entertain himself.

* ForTheEvulz: His modus operandi basically boils down to causing as much death and destruction to entertain himself because he's bored.

* MaskOfSanity: He has a poker face but in reality he's a violent, genocidal maniac.

* TheStoic: He's non-expressive [[NotSoStoic except when Zero is concerned]]. That is the only time he gets excited.

* WeUsedToBeFriends: Back during their days at the Imperial Colchester Institute, Rakshata used to be friendly rivals with Earl Lyod Asplund and Cécile Croomy. Because of their predicament during the series, however, Rakshata isn't fond of speaking of their shared past.

* StatuesqueStunner: She towers over most of the other women in the series -- officially she's 6 ft even -- and is gorgeous.

%%* BlueBlood
%%* TheChessmaster
* BlueBlood: Played with. She's one of the highest ranking members of the nobility of the Japanese remnant, but this is due to being the head of the most powerful industrial groups in pre-Britannian Japan. However, even before this, she has unspecified ranking among the traditional Japanese aristocracy.
* TheChessmaster: Despite her unassuming appearance, Kaguya is a political mastermind. Despite being ostensibly allied with Britannia in exchange for their high status, the Six Houses have been behind the Japanese resistance practically since the beginning.

%%* FanGirl: Of Zero.

to:

%%* * FanGirl: Of Zero. She is Zero's number one fan and not the least bit shy about it. She insists upon having him in marriage, despite not knowing who is behind the mask.

%%* GenkiGirl: Downplayed but it's there.

%%* PluckyGirl

to:

%%* PluckyGirl* PluckyGirl: Even at her tender age, she takes the subjugation of Japan and all of the tragedies descended from it in great stride. Even as things get increasingly dicey with Japan's relations with Britannia and the rest of the world, she never loses her spirit.

%%* TheSmartGuy

to:

%%* TheSmartGuy* TheSmartGuy: Clearly the most intelligent of the representatives of the Six Houses. Kirihara is ostensibly their leader, but Kaguya is the true brains behind the operation.

%%* TeenGenius

to:

%%* TeenGenius* TeenGenius: Zero rates her intelligence as one of the highest among his allies, second only to Rakshata. Quite an accomplishment for a 14-year-old.

* LeeroyJenkins: When actually deployed in battle, he's reckless to the point of outright stupidity. When faced with an opponent like Suzaku -- who clearly out matches him -- he decides to just blunder into the superior unit and get effortlessly knocked on his ass.
* PermaStubble: He's never clean-shaven, but also never grows an actual beard. It makes him come off as unkempt even compared to other rebels.
* SarcasticDevotee: He's bitter and sardonic about it, but he's still one of Zero's most steadfast employees

%%* * LoveMartyr: For VilettaViletta. Despite the obvious signs that she'll kill him without a second thought, he's still intent on putting his life on the line out of love for her. [[spoiler: And somehow, ''it pays off''.]]

The Team TRS Cleanup: This is a holdover from Five Man Band with incorrect indentation; the examples themselves seem to be under their individual characters already.

* TheTeam: The inner circle of the Black Knights is this, with a mixture of CultOfPersonality based around Zero. [[spoiler:So when the Black Knights ultimately betray Zero, their dynamic falls apart.]]:
** BigGood: Zero is the inspiring founder of the Black Knights who commands them to avoid falling to such "childish nonsense" as terrorism. (Ohgi was the original leader before he came.) [[spoiler:As the main brains behind the group and the one who rallies them together, after he's betrayed the group slowly begins falling apart, and are unable to hold a candle to Lelouch when he becomes Emperor.]]
** TheLancer: C.C is the closest person to Zero, much cooler in demeanor and the only one privy to his secret plans. [[spoiler:When she suffers LaserGuidedAmnesia, Lelouch loses one of his few {{Morality Chain}}s and becomes more ruthless, alienating him from the group and contributing to the betrayal. When she regains her memories, she willingly joins him once he becomes Emperor.]]
** TheBigGuy: Kallen is the greatest pilot with the most powerful frame, capable of rivalring the Knights of the Round. [[spoiler:When she's captured by Britannia, their forces are severely crippled until she manages to escape, the group is hesitant to fire on her when she tries to defend Zero during the betrayal, and she proves the only one able to fight Suzaku after Lelouch becomes Emperor.]]
** TheLeader: After joining the group due his care for Tianzi, Xingke is made the General Commander of the group due to being as smart as Zero and as skilled as Suzaku, making him the nominal leader of the group. [[spoiler:He's kept in the dark about the betrayal of Zero out of fear he'd oppose it, and only comes to see Lelouch as an enemy after he takes Tianzi hostage. His care for Tianzi is then exploited by Schneizel after he threatens to kill all the UFN hostages with a FLEIJA, only being stopped when Xingke succeeds command to him.]]
** ColonelBadass: Todoh is the initial second in command and generally serves as the field leader, before being appointed Chief of Military Affairs after Xingke joins, being a skilled tactician for the group. [[spoiler:His desire to reclaim his home overtakes his reason however, causing him to partake in the betrayal. He eventually lets his anger get the better of him and nearly became a GeneralRipper were it not for Chiba stopping him.]]
** TheFace: Diethard is the PR guy who spreads the news of the savior of Japan's good work. He's frequently despised by the others though due to him more cutthroat style, and it's made clear he's only with the group out of a desire to follow Zero. [[spoiler:After Zero is betrayed, he's left unimpressed by Ohgi as the new leader and instead defects to Schneizel's group.]]
** TheSmartGuy: Rakshata is the head of R&D and one of her creations is the "most powerful frame" that Kallen pilots. [[spoiler:While she doesn't partake in the betrayal, she doesn't particularly care thanks to only really caring about her "children".]]
** TheHeart: Kaguya is the most feminine of the group, claims to be Zero's wife, and is also one of the key affiliated political figureheads. This leads to social support and resources funneling to the group. [[spoiler:She's kept in the dark about the betrayal of Zero due to her love for him, and only comes to believe Lelouch is the enemy when he becomes the Emperor. By then it's too late since she's taken captive along with the rest of the UFN members.]]
