Azuma Kazuki

• The Heart: Azuma's role among the users of Oubu's constituent Bubuki. Also literally, since his Bubuki is Oubu's heart.
• Hero Protagonist: The protagonist, inheritor of Oubu's heart and leader of the heroic group.

Kogane Asabuki

• Childhood Friends: With Azuma, with the implication that she wants more.
• Beware the Nice Ones: Normally kind and light-hearted, but also angry and aggressive when dealing with Matobai.

Hiiragi Nono

• Defrosting Ice King: Initially recented Azuma for being Oubu's heart, but later becomes lenient towards him.

Kinoa Oubi

Shizuru Tatenomi

• Genius Bruiser: More the genius part, as observed by her uncle during a Traintop Battle in the first season.
• Not So Stoic: During her fight against her uncle, Shizuru flips out.
• Cold Sniper: Very withdrawn. She quite capable in many short-range gun fights too.

Reoko Banryuu

• Older Than They Look: As a result of being fused with Entei's heart, she stays a teenager.

Shusaku Matobai

• Reformed, but Rejected: Even after reforming and joining Azuma and co., Kogane remains adamant at him.

Kaoruko Kazuki

• I Have No Son!: A sibling variation; due to Azuma and her father leaving her in Taiwan, she denounces the former as a brother, instead treating him like a stranger. Therefore, she doesn't want anything to do with him.
• Sibling Rivalry: She has serious trust issues towards Azuma as a result of him leaving her in Taiwan.
• Sibling Yin-Yang: Her brother is modest and mild-mannered, she is NOT.
• Large Ham: Possibly the largest of all the cast.
• Ungrateful Bitch: Even after Azuma saves her from Zampaza's clutches, in response she demands him to put her down, not wanting to catch his fear of heights.
