Skyler (Actor: Olivia Tennet)
In search for someone to cook a large amount of meth, Skyler ends up in rehab and meets Milton, a former chemical engineering student who ended up there after the police raided his meth lab. After he proves his skill in cooking some meth, she seduces him and breaks him out with help from her psychotic boyfriend Russell, taking him to a secluded cabin high in the mountains. Though she goes through with the original plan to kill Milton off, thus triggering the curse, she then ends up falling in love with him.
- Action Girl: Displays her competence with weapons throughout the movie.
- Ambiguously Evil: She's very morally flexible.
- Broken Bird: It's obvious that Russell's abuse has taken its toll on her.
- Brutal Honesty: She's very upfront when she's telling the truth.
- Cartwright Curse: both Russell and Milton die at the end
- Chronic Backstabbing Disorder: in regards to both Milton and Russell
- Consummate Liar: It's not so much that she lies as much as she omits part of the truth.
- Crazy Survivalist: shows shades of this in the last act.
- Deadpan Snarker: Skyler is incredibly sarcastic and drops countless rants, diatribes and wisecracks over the course of the movie.
- Jerkass: Throughout the film.
- Kick the Dog: Her comment saying how she's tired of hearing about another girl "being buttfucked by her uncle" isn't very endearing, especially for someone with a similar backstory.
- Manipulative Bitch: She actively manipulates Milton throughout the movie, it's revealed that she had gone through with killing Milton on numerous occasions with Russell. However, her actions towards the end imply that her feelings for Milton are indeed real
- Pet the Dog: She has numerous touching moments with Milton.
- Unholy Matrimony: With Russell.
Milton (Actor: Milo Cawthorne)
A brilliant chemical engineering student, Milton lands in rehab after his lab got raided by police shortly before graduating with his degree. He then meets Skyler and agrees to help her and her boyfriend Russell cook a large batch of meth for a client that has promised a very large sum. At first, he doesn't realize that he's not meant to live after the meth is cooked, but as the curse kicks in, he finds himself in a time loop from which there may not be an escape. He eventually figures out what triggers the curse and how it's broken.
- Action Survivor: In the beginning, most of the time he barely evaded death and usually due to Skyler.
- Always Save the Girl: In fact he spends a good deal of the film trying to save Skyler and escape the cabin.
- Badass Bookworm: Evolves into this as the film progresses. Helps that he learns from the time loop.
- Beware the Nice Ones

- Cold-Blooded Torture: Ironically enough, inflicts this on Russell.
- Deadpan Snarker: Not as much as Skyler though.
- Determinator: Determined to escape with Skyler.
- Fake Cutie:Shows what he's truly capable of over the course of the film.
- Love Makes You Stupid: He's very self-aware about this.
- Masculine Girl, Feminine Boy: Feminine boy to Skyler's masculine girl.
- Nice Guy: In the beginning.
- Dogged Nice Guy: In many ways, towards Skyler.
- Odd Couple: With Skyler.
- The Smart Guy: Why he's recruited by Skyler.
- Unwitting Pawn:In the beginning to Skyler.
Russell (Actor: Ari Boyland)
A crooked cop with an itchy trigger finger, Russell is Skyler's boyfriend who helps her break Milton out of rehab. The two take their new cook to a cabin high up in the mountains. Extremely possessive of Skyler, he warns Milton not to fall in love with her. At first, he has Milton killed, triggering the curse, but afterwards, Skyler betrays him, having fallen in love with Milton. The rest of the film has the new lovers stay alive while figuring out how they got into this mess. Eventually, Russell ends up getting a clue.
- Axe-Crazy: A "psychopathic maniac", as Skyler puts it.
- Big Bad
- Butt-Monkey: Over the course of the film, he gets killed over and over and over again, and tortured a few times, too.
- Book Dumb
- Chronic Backstabbing Disorder: He's willing to kill absolutely anyone, even Skyler.
- Flat Character: When compared with the other two.
