Body Screen Fill Up: Western Animation
  • Rugrats is by far the Trope Codifier.
    • "Time of Their Lives" when Angelica makes Tommy get cookies for her. She says, "That's more like it," and Tommy walks towards the camera and his diaper fills up the screen.
    • "A Step at a Time" During a flashback of Tommy taking his first steps. He is walking toward the camera and his diaper fills up the screen and then he walks back out ending the flashback.
    • "Chuckie's Red Hair" the scene where Betty comes in with Phil and Lil. She walks toward the camera with her neck filling up the screen and then walks out.
    • "Spike Runs Away" the scene where Stu shows Tommy and Chuckie his new spider. He walks toward the screen with his nose filling up the screen.
    • "Chuckie's Complaint" where Angelica and Drew are about to leave and Angelica is singing a jingle. Drew is walking into the camera and his nose fills up the screen.
    • "Potty Training Spike" where the babies are trying to put a diaper on Spike. Phil and Lil are about to grab Spike and Lil jumps into the camera, with her dress filling up the screen.
    • "Stu Gets a Job" at least twice. When Stu is in the Elvis suit saying "Well turnabout is fair play". And again with Stu in his pajamas when he goes in the closet, finding his clothes.
  • Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends did it pretty often.
  • Taz-Mania:
    • Close to the beginning of "Nursemaid Taz" with Taz's brother Jake. He and her sister are running toward the table and Jake runs into the screen and then runs out.
    • Happened at least all these times.
  • Codename: Kids Next Door:
    • "Operation U.T.O.P.I.A.", when Numbuh 1 runs away from Katie.
    • "Operation O.U.T.B.R.E.A.K.", when a girl jumps towards Numbuh 4.
    • "The Grim Adventures of the KND", the scene where Billy's dad comes out of a puff of smoke trying to get his pants. While he walks, he says "I wear the pants around here!". We walks straight into the camera and walks back out saying "ME! me, me, me!"
    • "Operation M.O.V.I.E.", this is done when an usher takes Numbuh 4 away for sneaking into an R-rated movie.
    • "Operation C.O.L.L.E.G.E." The very beginning with Numbuh 1 drinking a shake Happened at least all these times
  • The Simpsons:
    • "Lisa's Pony" in a scene where Homer's playing tea party with Lisa and Bart and Milhouse make fun of him. Homer notices them and immediately charges at them. He runs towards the camera and his stomach fills up the screen making it completely white.
    • "Girls Just Want to Have Sums" where Nelson is about to beat up the disguised Lisa.
    • "Selma's Choice" Bart and Lisa try to get Selma off a bench and ride a rollercoaster.
    • "Much Apu About Nothing" near the beginning where Homer tries to get beer from the fridge. "Let's all calm down. Everyone's going to be just fine. As long as I have enough beers."
    • "Homer vs. Lisa and the 8th Commandment" with Homer putting his foot down about an an argument with Marge about keeping the free cable
    • "The Dad Who Knew Too Little" where Homer is about to charge towards some free sample stands
    • "Brother's Little Helper" The scene where Bart walks into an army base where soldiers are taking showers. He is walking into the camera with a twitchy look on his face Happened at least all these times
  • The Garfield Show: Happened at least all these times. A Second One
  • Sponge Bob Square Pants:
    • "Whelk Attack" where Mr. Krabs tries to give Krabby Patties to the whelks. He walks out the Krusty Krab with a plate full of Krabby Patties and walks towards the screen
    • "Breath of Fresh Squidward" SpongeBob walking with new Squidward attached to him. "Boy the new Squidward sure is chummy"
    • "Squidward, the Unfriendly Ghost": Patrick: "Oh, coming!"
    • Twice in a row in "Plankton's Good Eye" in a flashback with some fish and Sandy stomping on him
  • Static Shock:
    • "The Usual Suspect", where Marcus attempts to beat up Virgil. "I'm gonna knock you into a whole new ZIP code."
    • "Romeo in the Mix" has it close to the end, where the police take the Leech away. The cops carry the leech and one says, "We'll take him downtown with the others"
    • "Bad Stretch" with Carmendillo screaming and running towards the camera and running back out saying "Gotta hide, gotta hide!" Happened at least all these times.
  • Arthur
    • In the beginning of the episode "DW the Copycat".
    • Occurs twice in "Brain's Shocking Secret". First, Mr. Ratburn takes Brain away before he could get a school picture. Brain sighs and then fills up the screen. Next is when Brain is shocked when the clock reads 9 a.m. and he's running out of bed.
    • But, wait! There's more!
  • Hey Arnold!: in the episode "Wheezin Ed", this happens near the end. Where Harold is rolling and his butt fills up the screen before he runs over everyone. Happened at least all these times
  • The Berenstain Bears theme song in 1985, where a bear in purple overalls walks into the screen.
    • And the theme song in 2003, whre Papa Bear is riding a unicycle, but runs into the screen.
  • ''The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius:
    • "The Eggpire Strikes Back", the scene at school where Ooblar tries to break up Jimmy and Cindy's argument. Ooblar tells them "Pipe down!" and floats toward the screen and then floats back out. And the scene where Jimmy and Goddard run to the park where Poultra's egg is.
    • "The League of Villans" Where T grabs Jimmy and Sheen in the courtroom
    • "Professor Calamitus I Presume" Calamitus in the robot suit attempts to kidnap Goddard
  • Lilo & Stitch: The Series: Happens twice in the ' episode "Frenchfry", where Lilo rolls over her hula class. She's rolling towards the camera and the screen becomes filled with red. And when she and Stitch roll over Frenchfry near the end. First, Lilo rolls toward the camera, then it fades to blue and Stitch rolls out. Happened at least all these times.
  • Near the beginning of the Little Bear intro with Owl, where he flies into the screen.
  • The Cleveland Show episode "Buried Pleasure": Kendra body-slams Jane. She falls onto the screen and it cuts to black.
  • In The Powerpuff Girls episode "Stray Bullet" in the scene where Mojo is walking very slowly with a confident look on his face.
  • Justice League Unlimited ends with the League members running toward the camera in its final, trope naming "And the Adventure Continues" scene. It notably ends with Batman's logo, causing Batman to provide the Book Ends to the DCAU.
  • In the Dragon Tales episode "The Talent Pool" When Max and Emmy first arrive in Dragon Land. Ord runs towards the camera (Max and Emmy) filling up the screen to hug them.
  • In the Tom and Jerry Tales short "You're Lion" where Tom and Jerry saw many lions in a dark hut. Tom runs away towards the camera, and runs back out Happened at least all these times.
  • The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh: In the episode of "Pooh Skies" where Tigger is jumping on a trampoline and falls on Rabbit Happened at least all these times
  • Total Drama Island episode "Paintball Deer Hunter" where DJ tosses Owen over the cliff. Owen is falling into the camera which fades to black and then falls out into the ocean
  • Total Drama Action episode "3:10 to Crazytown" with Gwen, Trent, and Owen falling off a diving board onto a horse
  • Total Drama World Tour episode "I See London" where Noah and Owen are about to fall off the plane with one parachute and Owen falls onto the camera cutting it to black Happened at least all these times
  • Rocko's Modern Life: in the episode "Who Gives a Buck" where Rocko, Heffer, and Spunky are on a floor escalator. They move toward the camera and Spunky's eyes fill up the screen and they move out of the camera from Heffer's butt. Happened at least all these times
  • Scooby-Doo: Happened at least all these times
  • Happens twice in a row in the Garfield and Friends episode "Don't Move", when Odie is riding down the sidewalk in a shopping cart. His eyes fill up the screen both times and it then cuts to the next scene each time.
  • An American Tail: Happened at least all these times
  • At the very end of the My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic episode "Fall Weather Friends" when Applejack and Rainbow Dash run towards the camera and then run out.
  • In The Magic School Bus episode "Gets Lost in Space", Arnold does this when he gets fed up with his cousin Janet and marches to the back of the bus to confront her.

  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003): Happened at least all these times A Second One

  • In The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy episode "Bearded Billy", Mandy takes Billy from under his bed and puts him in a sack.
