He is also a juvenile delinquent who has been fending for himself on the rough streets since he was basically a kid, and shows his experience by saving Leo and Chase from the huge bear Brian by beating the bastard in the face with a metal pipe. He is also easily the character who navigates the supernatural happenings around Echo the best, recognizing them as the work of "The Hum" his late friend Keith told him about.

** '''Serah''', Lightning's little sister, is the main character of ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyXIII-2''. DamselInDistress no more. She possesses fighting skills on par with the party members from the original game now, and she's no less cute from it. Her victory pose is catching EmpathicWeapon and TeamPet Mog and giving him a hug.

** In ''VideoGame/DragonAgeII'' there is also Merrill. She's a thin, naive, innocent, sweet-natured, easily distracted, practicing blood mage and Demon Summoner who becomes a MotorMouth when nervous. She also has only offensive magic and vicious combat buffs, not even the slightest healing spell, and fearsome drive to revive the glory of Arlathan for which she is willing to sacrifice her life. Absolutely adorable and she can a-splode you from half a mile away with her mind.
* The four main protagonists of ''VideoGame/EarthBound1994'', adorable young children who take on an EldritchAbomination to save the world. Paula, in particular, stands out with her cute bow.
* VideoGame/EccoTheDolphin, of course, being both a dolphin and the protagonist of a brutally difficult action/adventure game series, would obviously qualify as this, but it tends towards FridgeBrilliance when you consider that the BadassAdorable label arguably applies to real-life dolphins as well.

* Veronica from ''VideoGame/FalloutNewVegas''. She's a sarcastic StraightGay Brotherhood Scribe, with a compulsion against showing her hair. She's also [[MegatonPunch very good with a Power Fist]]. Being voiced by Creator/FeliciaDay might also have something to do with this.
** Also, ED-E the SuperPrototype Eyebot, a floating little robot that plays a catchy little tune when flying into combat armed with a laser and a perk that practically gives you max Perception.

* Kolibri the hummingbird from ''VideoGame/{{Kolibri}}'' is a tiny little hummingbird who was given the magical power to shoot lasers and bullets. This only adds to the fact that he's from an incredibly cute and incredibly aggressive group of animals; see the RealLife section's entry on hummingbirds!
* Roll from ''VideoGame/MegaManPoweredUp'' and especially ''VideoGame/TatsunokoVsCapcom''. Even though she's normally one of the sweeter characters, she is more than capable of taking out not only Dr. Wily's army of Robot Masters (Dr. Light's brainwashed Robot Masters, that is), but also the Lord of Darkness himself, Yami, WITH A BROOMSTICK OF ALL THINGS!
** [[VideoGame/MegaManClassic Rockman]] himself. An adorable RobotKid who has saved the world eleven times.
** Exaggerated in [[Anime/MegaManUponAStar the three-episode OVA]], which is made of this trope. Adorable chibi robots, Roll looks so cute in that kimono... [[SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome Did Proto Man just hack a missile while it was in flight?!]]

* Sunny from ''[[VideoGame/MetalGearSolid Metal Gear Solid 4]]''. Seven years old, cute as a button, and able to take down an AI that has effectively taken over the world.
** Otacon, too, for that matter. Combine his male-{{Meganekko}}-osity, shyness, niceness, and nerdiness with his genius hacker-dom, the fact that he's the creator of freakin' Metal Gear Rex, and his HeroicSacrifice tendencies, and you get one true BadassAdorable.
* In ''VideoGame/{{Minecraft}}'' you travel a many Earth-sized world on your own (or with a small handful of friends), hunting and gathering to keep yourself fed enough to stay alive, building your own homes and even ''cities'' from scratch out of wild and underground raw materials, slaying hundreds upon hundreds of undead and {{Eldritch Abomination}}s, smelting metals into your own TwentyFourHourArmor, mastering arcane magic and navigating the [[DeathWorld netherworld]]. All while being a cartoonish toylike being BuiltWithLEGO.

* The ''VideoGame/{{MOTHER}}'' series is full of this.
** The main trio in [[VideoGame/EarthboundBeginnings the first game]] are cute little kids, the [[VideoGame/EarthBound1994 second game]] has four of them, and ''VideoGame/Mother3'' has Lucas and Boney.
** The fangames ''[[VideoGame/CognitiveDissonance Mother: Cognitive Dissonance]]'' and ''VideoGame/Mother4'' have this as well, with a hat wearing Mr. Saturn in ''Cognitive Dissonance'' and the three kids of ''Mother 4''.
** Most of the main party from ''VideoGame/Mother3'' belongs here (To an extent, even Duster, thanks to the art style). Lucas is a shy and kind young boy, Kumatora is a cute but brash and tomboyish young princess, and Boney is an adorable and devoted dog. They also fight tons of freakish and powerful monsters in their quest to restore peace to the Nowhere Islands.
* ''Every'' single playable character of the ''VideoGame/{{Neptunia}}'' games can be considered as one.

* In ''VideoGame/OctopathTraveler'', merchant Tressa Colzione fights a lot of threats no regular merchant should fight. She fends off an entire pirate horde by herself and even takes down its two bosses, [[spoiler:liberates Quarrycrest from the evil landlord robbing everyone from their gold findings]], [[spoiler:fights and kills a damn ''saber-tooth tiger with poisonous attacks'']], and [[spoiler:defeats a dangerous female thief who had stolen her diary.]] [[LampshadeHanging Lampshaded]] by the last one of the list who can't believe "a little child" like her bested them in combat.

** And if you thought Amaterasu couldn't get any more adorable, the GaidenGame ''VideoGame/{{Okamiden}}'' one-ups the original by making the player character (named ''Chibi''terasu) [[http://www.destructoid.com/okamiden-s-little-wolf-puppy-is-the-cutest-thing-ever-147254.phtml a tiny puppy dog instead]]. For an added bonus ([[RidiculouslyCuteCritter if one was necessary]]), he spends most of the game carrying around kids on his back, most of whom are at least ''some'' degree of BadassAdorable in and of themselves. And, like his mother, Chibi [[DudeWheresMyRespect can't catch a break in the name department]], being variously referred to as Mutt, Pooch, [[TotallyRadical Dude]], and Squiddy.

* ''VideoGame/XenobladeChronicles1''. Man, this is a [[WorldOfBadass World of Badass Adorable]]:
** Keeps the badass adorable tradition going with Riki. One of the battle quotes of this "fur ball" is "Riki can win by himself!". And he's not all talk. Far from it!

*** Lynx is a scientist and explorer with an adorably fluffy [[AnimalMotifs cat motif to her]], but this belies the fact that she's able to survive in the wilderness of her [[ArtifactOfDoom Stellaron-infected]] homeworld, Jarilo-VI, on her own without dying - for reference, most ordinary people would die from exposure within hours of leaving Belobog, if the [[TheCorruption cancer-like Fragmentum]] or the [[HumanoidAbomination monsters it creates]] doesn't kill them first. This intimate survival knowledge has led to Lynx walking the Path of The Abundance and becoming something of AnIcePerson, using her weaponry to freeze enemies in their tracks while healing her allies.

*** Lyney is an attractive master magician from the Hotel Bouffes d'ete who loves the spotlight who uses his [[PlayingWithFire Pyro Vision]] and mastery of archery to bring a whole lot of pain and death to those who would dare threaten his siblings or [[FriendToAllChildren the innocence of children.]] [[spoiler:This is because he, alongside Lynette and Freminet, have Fatui combat training.]]

*** Topaz and Numby are both cute in their own way - Topaz is a beautiful and lovable ReasonableAuthorityFigure of [[MegaCorp the Interastral Peace Corporation]] who can't help but [[CutenessProximity melt like chocolate around cute animals, including her pet Warp Trotter, Numby]], who can also take down her enemies with her [[PlayingWithFire fire]] tech and debuffs brought about by walking the Path of The Nihility. As for Numby, this little [[CallARabbitASmeerp Warp]] [[RidiculouslyCuteCritter Trotter]] might be as cute as any other Trotter but is the means by which Topaz burns her enemies to the ground.

*** [[Characters/GenshinImpactFontaine Sigewinne]] is an adorable CuteMonsterGirl - half-human, half-[[CartoonCreature Melusine]] - with a gentle heart and a sweet disposition that looks like a child like [[CheerfulChild Klee]] or [[AdorablyPrecociousChild Yaoyao]], but don't let that fool you, she's the head nurse of the [[TheAlcatraz Fortress of Meripode]] and has that [[MakingASplash Hydro Vision]] for a reason. [[spoiler:She demonstrates her combat capabilities and intelligence well when she takes down [[SiblingTeam Lyney and Lynette]], both of whom are ''Fatui Agents,'' as well as [[TheChosenMany Vision-Wielding Allogenes]] like herself, and tranquilizes them both before they could even know what happened.]]

Should a fight come to pass, however, her mastery of bows and [[BlowYouAway Anemo Vision]], [[spoiler:not to mention her training from the Fatui,]] give her the power to send any enemy flying into the horizon.

* The ''VideoGame/{{Atelier}}'' games are absolutely chock-full of these, considering how the franchise is dripping with {{Moe}}. The main characters of most of the games qualify, the majority being cute girls who can create powerful bombs to throw at you for massive damage. The [[FountainOfYouth 8-year-old Rorona]] from ''VideoGame/AtelierMeruru'' is a standout, being an adorable kid who kept all of her alchemic and combat prowess from before she was de-aged, and so is Homura from ''VideoGame/AtelierShallie'', who belongs to a race of {{Ridiculously Cute Critter}}s but is still a very competent adventurer and combatant.

** There is a young, lovely, cute, spunky, aloof, innocent, friendly, childish GenkiGirl in almost every ''VideoGame/FinalFantasy'' game: '''Rydia''', '''Krile''', '''Relm''', '''Yuffie''', '''Selphie''', '''Eiko''', '''Rikku''', '''Penelo''', '''Vanille'''. And all of them cover the badass part of the trope. They are capable of decimating anything, be it with bombs, BlackMagic, SummonMagic or just oversized weapons that they shouldn't be able to carry.
