Further used when Russia cried after General Winter's defeat in the Hetalia Bloodbath 2010. And when the General is next to Russia's side when he wakes up.
Humanoid Abomination: General Winter takes the form of an elderly man in a military uniform.
Trademark Favorite Food: Lettuce for Mochimerica, Pasta for Itamochi, Maple Syrup for Mochicanada, Tea for Iggymochi and Tomatoes for Spainmochi.
Trapped in Another World: To show his gratitude the King of Rice Cakes send Estonia to the mochi-land he can go back by picking another mochi, go figure.
He did crossdress (and gained lots of fanboys due to that), but not that way. The (not deleted) webcomics on Kitayume are the early era before Noto got pissed off at everyone for making fun of him and became Black Noto. Noto-sama 1-6 and deleted comics followed after.
Cute and Psycho: After becoming sick of being the unpopular Butt Monkey, he becomes this as Black Noto and exacts his revenge through his own brands of bullying (most which include sexual harassment in some way or another).
The Multiverse: Considering how Noto-sama met the countries during the Christmas 2007 Aftermath and Noto-sama 5, yet Hoke Tsukomi (representing Osaka) of Barjona Bombers is (apparently) different from Osaka-han, and Noto-sama's victim in the fourth game was Tsuko...
Tsundere: The evolved Noto-sama we know and love today.
Cats Are Snarkers: Japaneko, when he's not gushing over his beloved tuna.
Fan Nickname: Strictly speaking "Itabby", "Germouser" and "Japaneko", etc. are fan-translations of how the cats call each other... sorta like kitty versions of nation names. Since the other cats's names haven't been given, fans have come up with kitty-nation names (Francecat, Chinacat/Catina, Iggycat, Americat, Gilkatze, Kittaiwan/Wankitty, Caustria, Yaongsoo/Koreacat, Spaingato, Mewmano, etc).
Also counting the cats who were given a formal name by fans (E.g. Enzo for Romanocat, etc.).
Impoverished Patrician: Austriacat lives in a run-down house that apparently was very cozy and complains about being alone...
Names to Know in Anime: The cats that appeared in the anime were voiced by the same seiyuus as their owners: E.g: Itabby by Daisuke Namikawa, Hiroki Yasumoto for Germouser, etc. Monacat was the only exception: she's voiced by Yuki Kaida, but Monaco didn't show up in the anime at all.
Only One Name: All of the cats, including Japaneko and Itabby who were formally given a pet name ("Tama" and "Gino" respectively) have one name since they're well... cats.
The Ojou: Monacat is just as dainty-looking as her owner Monaco. She even has a kitty collar that looks like jewelry!
Stealth Hi/Bye: Russiacat manages to pull this towards Itabby and Romanocat.
