Back to the original Assassin's Creed, there are quite a number of songs which were very underrated but is creepy yet awesome on their own. Originally what this troper thought as part of the Meditation Of The Assassins, this most well-known version actually contains tracks from Acre, which is from the start of your assassination mission and includes the time when you stalk your targets unnoticed until you deliver the killing blow (while still being Anonymous). There are versions with similar rhythms to this one, for example:

And this. Seek to 05:45 and you'll notice this part plays while you're stalking your targets in Jerusalem. Unfortunately targets in Jerusalem seem to not like you to have a chance to hear this play at all, but you can hear this playing while in Arsuf, albeit on a bit of a faster tempo.
