* From the first game:
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3lB0b0fHbAY Violent Storm,]] which is played [[spoiler:when you fight against Malpercio.]]
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O4FdfaRX8EM The True Mirror]], the default battle theme, is an amazingly good song. Then the BossRemix takes it to [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wtMDOIEyu0E the next level]].
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jjrl5oYwgM Rumbling of the Earth.]]
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OXUnMr1yX2w Brave Way.]]
** And [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qDoBcqdPx-Y Vitrolic a Stroke]]. A fantastic guitar piece, topped only by the aforementioned True Mirror guitar version. Very much worth a listen.
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JIAnkWRfJDE Between The Winds]] is hauntingly beautiful, ''and it's only overworld music''.
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hWbhB1iMjB0 House of Cards / Castle in the Sand]], which plays on the Mira overworld and in Azha. It's eerie, but ''epically'' so, and manages to perfectly capture the haunting otherworldliness of both locations, especially Mira.
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XARPxxfAeUc To the End of the Journey of Glittering Stars]] is quite possibly one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written. ''Ever.''
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Heb8iFf_Sww Soft Labyrinth]], played on the Cloud Passage on Diadem. For one of the easiest areas of the game, it has one of the most powerful and awesome songs in the whole game.
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4dFB8ns-r-c Bellflower]], an awesomely catchy town theme.
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3BWiI8v33w Nadir's Whale]].
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADJFW_syFro Twisted Time and Warped Sky]], which has a definite apocalyptic feel to it.
** Giacomo and company tend to be [[ThatOneBoss unusually tough]], but their special boss theme, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_B64f48ewdo Chaotic Dance]] is great.
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eK5cRPzYa2w Supreme Ruler of the Nine Heavens.]]
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LkWtmUp-yEY Descent to Earth]], played when [[spoiler:the islands fall from the sky]].
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LShnlDfam84 Glowing Cloud]], while it gets used ''a lot'', isn't bad.
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Wv7K2thAjU Embark on a Voyage]].
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_8kKRMKjpk Deep Sea of Tears]], used during the game's biggest TearJerker.
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xyXIN_A8vOQ Soul Poetry]], IMO, is a hauntingly beautiful piece. Also, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qn8nO1z9XQM Divine White Bell]], which not only is the main theme of the church, but also plays at crucial moments in the game, particularly [[spoiler:Kalas' FaceHeelTurn.]]
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1c2hN0YCqls Condemnation of Darkness.]]
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQw7xD7C2fY Survival From the Force]], which plays in Cor Hydrae.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dHffjab1zr4 A Last Villainous Quip]]. [[spoiler: [[PostFinalBoss Geldoblame]]]] might be a GiantSpaceFleaFromNowhere, but his battle theme is ''great''.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dFCZCs6741I Addressing Stars]], the beautiful credits theme.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4aKKFIMDbRc Feudal Guardian]], the music that plays in areas under Alfardian occupation. A strong military theme that drives home how powerful TheEmpire truly is.
* ''VideoGame/BatenKaitosOrigins'':
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sKPxXRbYl6s Iconoclasm]]. It's such an amazing track that every boss battle that plays it seems epic...''[[HopelessBossFight even the ones where you're getting your ass kicked]]''.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8L25VFdmZY8 Le Ali Del Principio]]. Words don't do it justice; just listen to it. The music alone is incredible, but the hauntingly beautiful vocals make the piece almost impossibly wonderful...especially considering the fact that the vocalist was ''the composer's nine-year old daughter''.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NhtKETjI_E4 Evidential Material]], everything you need in a boss theme.
** Remember The True Mirror? [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CFCUimZ1WE Well, it's back]], fully orchestrated for a mindblowing CallBack.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VyvW-xpF3Mg Deep Red Pastures]], the happiest song in the world.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JC35nRq5ECw A Road to the Dignified Future]], Verus' theme.
** For your listening pleasure, "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b0or0nEy2ps The Valedictory Elegy]]", ''Origins''' standard battle theme. And then there's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XRNCUdThacI the guitar version]] for battles in the Colosseum. And then there's the [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7taNjPaZIg new arrangement]] in ''[[VideoGame/SuperSmashBros Super Smash Bros for Wii U]]''.
** There's also [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=anLMhqBeYxU Powerful Voice of an Old Soul]], played in the first half of TheVeryDefinitelyFinalDungeon, and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uMCPjY9SetI Terrible Technology]], played in the second half. And [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=asagrnN1-h8 Tears of Compassion]], which was a large part of the reason that game's biggest TearJerker was so successful.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUAXqE5971o The Power of a Pure Heart and the Path to the Distant Future]]. Used for a ThemeMusicPowerUp several times throughout ''Origins''. In that same vein, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4aWJXqfnIQ8 Bitter Enemies In The Same Boat]], which is somehow even better.
** There's also [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQGsyEGagTs Poacher]], used for boss battles against afterlings, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cO1UTkT6lf8 Raincloud]], used for the Cloud Passage in Diadem, and the brilliantly creepy [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHGCwXXp_sg Ruins]].
** Count in also the unbelievably tragic [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_QQ94yU6Hg Rain on a Moonlit Night.]] ManlyTears were shed.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yflK52RWRiM Crystal Abyss]]. Used as Wiseman's battle theme, it's ''even more creepy than he is''. Seriously, this could be used in Franchise/SilentHill.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mtH6vbLUmNE Ruinous Commander]], the FinalBoss theme, is a very eerie song, complete with OneWomanWail and OminousLatinChanting. It really serves to accentuate what will happen if you fail. Even scarier, if you listen to the quieter portions of the song, you can hear people screaming and crying.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fgYioPf30zU Into The Spiral Tension]]. Amazingly creepy whenever it's used, and perfectly sums up the atmosphere during [[WhamEpisode Wham Episodes]] and tense moments.
** And [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ftFQ_ToXvA Chaotic Dance 2]]. Giacomo returns in Origins, with a new battle theme every bit as awesome as the old one, if not even more so.
** Remember Between the Winds from the first game? Didn't think it could get any more beautiful? Here's its successor, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-AY9WUz5cU The Boundary Between the Wind and the Earth]].
** The [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8xzNePEHAA three]] [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXVCgKbVxE4 Sedna]] [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-pJL6OX-T7w themes]]. Need motivation to do that giant CollectionSidequest? There you go.
** Guillo's theme, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6NQCQVRhnus Legendary Doll]].
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HHdQj_rciY4 The Beginning Of The Unjust Journey and the Prelude To Betrayal]] [[LongTitle (whew)]], a DarkReprise of the Mintaka theme from ''Eternal Wings'', plays during TheStinger.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cgH2krBcqrY Floating Pebbles]], which plays in the Nekkar Quietlands, is a beautifully melancholy piece. Why is it that the most irritating levels in this game always seem to have the best music?
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rykNChUDgy8 The Shadow of the Moon on the Water]], which plays over the end credits and is stunningly beautiful.
* The entirety of both games are a pair of crowning soundtracks of awesome. Even the worst songs are simply above average, and if a song is even average compared to the rest of the soundtrack, it still sounds amazing compared to other games. There's a reason the soundtracks are collectively considered Creator/MotoiSakuraba's best work.
