    Animorphs Book Guide
  • The Lasso Rant from Greg's review of "Tobias," the 16th episode of the TV show, in which he deconstructs a scene in which the Yeerks capture Ax using a simple lasso. Over several minutes he outlines how it makes the Yeerks look stupid for using such primitive technology and it makes Ax look stupid for apparently not being able to use his tail-blade. He isn't just satisfied mocking the goofy scene; he explains in full detail just why it's such a failure.
  • A small but no less impressive moment often overlooked comes during his review of #29. The Sickness when he breaks down the Yeerks' personal growth as a culture, from rapid expansion and conquest to questioning the morality of their actions to full-blown revolutionary movement to stop enslaving innocent hosts all in less than forty years, which basically serves as a prelude to the insightful discussions he'd later give during his review of #33. The Illusion and VISSER.
  • While he was reviewing #33. The Illusion, Greg talked about Yeerk physiology as a sort of prequel to his upcoming review of VISSER which further delved into their status as sentient beings and how that tied into their parasitic natures and their interactions with host bodies.
    • And finally, during his review of VISSER, Greg offered an intelligent and complex look at the Yeerks as a species and concluded that despite the suffering they spread across entire races and even though there was evil individual Yeerks the species themselves were not so much evil as immature and needed time to develop. The 10/10 rating Greg gave this book was deserved.
  • Greg gives a precise examination of the "Mary Sue" trope/term in Animorphs #38. The Arrival, and how it's pretty much become meaningless as the original intention from A Trekkie's Tale has been distorted into any female characternote any who's overly qualified at what they do.
  • While reviewing Animorphs #42. The Journey, a particularly bad book most fans universally despise, Greg naturally gets to rant over quite a few things, but what's his greatest ire reserved for? The book propagating the myth that pit bulls are naturally aggressive and dangerous animals that need to be put down. Especially awesome since the author also wrote a series about an animal hospital.
  • The Shown Their Work explanation of how ridiculous the plane route from #44. The Unexpected is.
  • His Alternamorphs review is done as a choose your own adventure review, all up totaling over 2 hours of content talking about topics ranging from the actual book to the history of choose your own adventure books, to France. The best part is probably the third choice in his review of The Next Passage, in which Greg makes up a fake choice that leads to the reader fighting against David and The Helmacrons. Many commenters have said they were fooled into thinking this was a real part of the book, as Greg plays it completely straight and manages to imitate Applegate's writing very effectively.
  • His review of ''The Beginning''. It's three parts, with each part being an hour long. He goes into exhaustive detail about pretty much everything from the book. But the real CMOA is the six segments in which Greg does a detailed analysis of every character. He explores their whole character arc, even books he doesn't like very much. He even considers what their parents' jobs means for their personalities! All this is set to Tear Jerker music with majestic fanart. It's the perfect note to end the Opinionated Animorphs Book Guide on.

    Nick Knacks
  • His Nick Knacks episode on Dusty's Treehouse, a well beloved LA-based children's show. He gives a "The Reason You Suck" Speech to Dominic Orsatti, the man who bought broadcast rights at some point in the 90s, and scammed innocent people out of their money to fund his cable network, and Orsatti tried to justify his failure by saying that a Chili's closed down the street from his office.
Greg: Orsatti, the difference between you and that Chili's is that Chili's actually opened, you scumbag! They didn't go door-to-door to get money from hapless grandparents! They didn't hinge their business model on nostalgia for local television hits, they didn't take the money and run! They actually opened their doors and actually sold baby-back ribs. That Chili's had more integrity than you'll ever have!
  • The brutal "The Reason You Suck" Speech at the people mocking Vegetable Soup for its creepy puppets, as getting so hung up on this means you completely dismiss a well-written series about important issues, with one of the major contributors being a woman with full creative control at a time when that was very rare.
  • In his video for You Can't Do That on Television:
    • He reveals that the production company actually contacted him after his review of The Tomorrow People (1973), and offered an interview with both shows' creator Roger Price...which he turned down as it was clearly an attempt to censor what he would say about the show after his quite negative views on Tomorrow People.
    • In the same episode, he calls out Roger Price for his "boys will be boys mentality" (Allowing Playboy magazines around the young actors and allowing peep holes through the girls dressing rooms), as well punishing young male actors by forcing them to wear dresses because of his own experiences.
  • The review of Star Trek: The Animated Series blows past the show's bad reputation due to its shoddy animation, with huge Original Series fan Greg praising it as a worthy follow-up whose writing and acting completely overcome any technical issues, ending up declaring it worthy of being considered a canonical fourth season.
  • Tearing into the Values Dissonance of Mr. Ed, which gets him so furious that he actually gives distinct notice that the portion of the video where he objectively lays out the show's history has ended, and anyone who thinks they might not be able to handle someone disagreeing with them about it should stop watching.
  • His take on Marc Summers' famously hosting Double Dare despite his OCD. While agreeing that it has to at least be mentioned, he also stresses that Summers wasn't diagnosed until after the show ended and so even he had no idea the job was so antithetical to his mental condition, let alone the accusations that have cropped up that the executives were exploiting him, and ultimately bows to Summers' own statement that he loved the job.
  • The Kids in Motion video occasionally features clips from an interview with creator Julie Weisman Markovitz from just a couple weeks before the video was posted. At the end, it's revealed that close timing is because Greg himself was able to do the interview.

    The Goosebumps Monthly
  • The Say Cheese and Die-Again! video has Greg call out the book, and by proxy R.L. Stine, for essentially using body shaming as a horror trope.
  • A lot of Greg's rewrites for the books of lower quality are often praised by viewers in the comments section, with some even admitting they'd actually read the books if they were penned by Greg.

    Miscellaneous
  • His Asylum of the Daleks skit where he slams Amy's poor characterization.
  • Greg gives a wonderful discussion on the various points of symbolism in a kids animated TV show and how it relates to fiction in general during his review of ReBoot Episode 3 "Quick and the Fed."
  • His brief discussion about the Space Western genre and how it relates to the manga he was reviewing.
  • The New Doctor Who Adventures reviews get off to a bang with his palpable disgust at the Doctor invoking Fair for Its Day to mock Ace's fear of being molested.
  • His discussion on pop culture references in his review of Everworld #2. Land of Loss.
