It even has George Duning's triumphantly awesome soundtrack, familiar to fans from Kirk's "risk is our business" speech in "Return to Tomorrow".Starfleet has the opportunity to implement change. To change our values. To change the future. There are countless female officers more than capable of commanding a starship. This may not be my time. But it is most certainly theirs.
- The ship separation in "To Boldly Go, Part II." Definitely a jaw-dropping moment, pointing the way directly toward The Next Generation.
- Lieutenant Barbara Smith destroying the warp core in "To Boldly Go, Part II," at the cost of her own life.
