• After Hilary Faye throws a Bible at her:
  Mary:"This is not a weapon, you idiot."
• The scene where Mary's locker is searched and the teacher finds the ultrasound—she sees the panic on Mary's face and hides it. Subverted when she drops it and the whole thing comes out, but it was a nice thing to do.
• Roland, who has mostly dropped sarcastic comments, says to Hilary Faye "You have everything. What are you afraid of?"
  • Him then calling her a "cunt" after getting Mary expelled. Unlike a lot of things throughout the film, this genuinely rattles her.
• Tia and Veronica, who have been her submissive minions all film long, both betraying her at the prom in front of everyone. Tia discovers that she had bought the spray paint and had defaced the school only to frame Mary and Cassandra and calls her out on it and Veronica calls her a fake and throws her friendship necklace down in disgust.
