• Night of the Legends, August 5, 1994. It's considered the pinnacle of SMW's run. Among the highlights are the Coward Waves the Flag Six-Man Tag Match with Cornette's team of the Funk Brothers and Bruiser Bedlam against "Bullet" Bob Armstrong and Tracy Smothers teaming with a man Cornette feared^note The Road Warriors d. The Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton and Dennis Condrey) in a scaffold match at NWA Starrcade 86 and after the match the LOD chased Cornette up the scaffold, leading to him letting go and crashing to the mat and messing up his knee for life, Road Warrior Hawk,a tremendous legends ceremony tracing the history of pro wrestling in Knoxville with all kinds of great old footage, and, best of all, the Heavenly Bodies (Tom Prichard and Jimmy Del Ray) vs. the Thrillseekers (Chris Jericho and Lance Storm), in which Jericho, wrestling with a broken arm, hits a full 1.0 Muta in the bloodiest match in SMW history. Even with an appearance by Tammy Fytch, this show is so manly you may need to watch a Divas video afterward to balance it out.
