• One contestant correctly answered a question in the Public Television category, which was intended to be very obscure and difficult. He got 20 seconds' worth of cheers and applause from the audience and a high five from Ken. The question:
  Name the physical law which simply states that the electrostatic force between two points charged in free space are proportional to the amount of charge of the bodies divided by the square root of the distance—^Answer Coulomb's Law
  • But then again, the exact same contestant also thought "Brian Murray" was the lead singer of Queen.^note Freddie Mercury is the lead singer, while Brain "May" is the guitarist.
• In a 1989 episode, Andrea got through the Craftmatic bonus game in only EIGHT SECONDS! And this was after delivering a Curb-Stomp Battle in the main game, winning with 215 points (her competitor in Think Real Fast only got 135; the guy who went Off the Air only got 5 points in the entire game!)
