Awesome / Over the Garden Wall

• Greg stops the rabid dog by remembering that he stuck a piece of candy onto Wirt's coat. He tosses it onto the ground, causing the dog to chase after it, ending up being squeezed by the water-wheel and coughing up the turtle that caused the entire mess.
• Greg saving the schoolhouse by using the instruments to put on a benefit concert to raise money for the school. And it actually works!
• I'm the Highwayman.
• When Wirt believes the Woodsman is the Beast, he blows out his lantern. What follows is a scene where the Woodsman sees the horse rear up, and the next thing he knows he's being assaulted by Wirt. He doesn't do much but distract him, but it's an awesome show of willpower on his part.
• Doubles as a Heartwarming Moment, Tear Jerker and Nightmare Fuel Greg willingly giving himself up to the Beast in exchange for Wirt's life. Keep in mind that the kid is probably around five.
• Wirt vetoing the Beast's Sadistic Choice and even messing with him by threatening to blow out the lantern. Special mention goes to his Shut Up, Hannibal! moment, telling the Beast that his request that Wirt become a lantern keeper is "dumb" and choosing to Take a Third Option and just hotfoot it out of there.
• The Woodsman defeating the Beast once and for all for screwing with him for so many years.
• In the comic, "The Hollow Town", Wirt finally growing a backbone against the living dolls after they badmouth Greg's behaviour one too many times, calling them all out on it and even decks one in the face when he gets in the way.
