- Michael and Loomis coming face to face after 10 years in the gas station.Loomis: [seeing Michael all the way in the back of the kitchen; he takes out his gun] Michael? Why now? You waited ten years. I knew this day would come. Don't go to Haddonfield. If you want another victim, take me. But leave those people in peace. Please, Michael?[Michael just stands there, menacingly]Loomis: Goddamn you! [starts shooting at him, only for the next shot to show he missed completely].
- What follows is Loomis running outside yelling for Michael, only being greeted by him driving a tow truck through the garage door; Loomis tries and fails to shoot Michael and jumps out of the way as Michael hits a gas pump that blows up, taking out Loomis' car, and to further screw him over, the fire goes up a telephone pole and burns off the wires.
- Sheriff Meeker threatening Brady, revealing that he knows he's been screwing his daughter.
- Brady unintentionally pulling a Heroic Sacrifice. His attempt to shoot out the lock backfired, and now Jamie and Rachel are trapped in the house with Michael Myers with the only way out being the attic. He tells Rachel to leave him, and when he fails to shoot Michael, he actually uses it as a club. Michael just breaks his nose with it, and Brady promptly tries a fistfight, and its only then that Michael kills him. It winds up buying Jamie and Rachel enough time to escape from Michael.
- Rachel manages to fight Michael with one hand while driving a truck with the other as he attacks her while hanging from the roof.
- The climax — The state troopers, Sheriff Meeker, and the remnants of the lynch mob blast Michael to kingdom come.
