Episode 1: Tangled Up In Blue
  • In the game's first big action scene, the Guardians KILL THANOS. And even with everyone likely not buying for a second that it's for good, it truly does feel earned with an incredibly hard fight that has him swatting the team around like flies even if you hit every prompt.
    • How about the fact that the developers decide to put this big action scene with the killing of a major cosmic Marvel villain, the one who is going to be the Big Bad of their upcoming big Infinity War in the first episode. Not even in the climax but near the beginning!

    Episode 2: Under Pressure
  • After two episodes of walking through the Guardians' ship, you get to fight a bunch of Kree in it, complete with plenty of Gravity Screw. Plus, Gamora pulls off some acrobatics to help Peter get to the pilot's seat, and Rocket covertly covers him in water before sending a fire blast through the area to take care of the Kree about to kill him.

Episode 3: More Than a Feeling
  • A teenage Peter is confronted by a horrible bully who mocks Meredith's impending death. He can either kick the jerk's ass, or keep his promise to his mother not to fight, in which case she slaps him herself after hearing everything and sends him running off in tears.
  • Nebula takes on Drax at arm wrestling, and keeps perfectly firm in the center with no apparent effort while Drax is straining with everything he's got. Then Gamora joins in with both arms and still can't budge her. It finally takes Rocket poking her with an electric prod to end it.
  • The climatic battle has several choice moments, the best being Drax's diving attack on Hala after riding her spear to the ceiling, and Gamora and Nebula as Back-to-Back Badasses.

    Episode 4: Who Needs You

  • The Guardians initial fight with the worms (well, Mantis tries anyway. . .)
  • Peter's efforts to re-ignite the disabled engine
  • Drax's fight with the Worms set to Queen's 'Stone Cold Crazy' is epic.

    Episode 5: Don't Stop Believin'

  • If you let Drax perform an Heroic Sacrifice in the previous episode, you find out through Mantis's empathic connection that he's still alive. When you go to pick him up, not only did he survive while barely taking a scratch, but he single-handedly killed the giant Worm in the process.
  • The battle with Hala on the bridge of the Revenant where the Guardians are back together and working in perfect synch. Barely saying a word, everyone supports each other and contributes to Hala's defeat to the tune of "Crazy On You".
