In a deleted scene from the film Vivi's horrible boarding school experience is shown. After she is confined to the infirmary the Mother Superior refuses to contact her parents. Teensy's mother then barrels into the school with the rest of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood demanding that her "daughter" be released to her. They take Vivi out of her bed and and begin to walk her out off the school. The Mother Superior shouts after them that "Joan" needs to be saved. Teens'y mother then walks back to the Mother Superior and says "If Jesus ever finds out he married you, he's gonna want a divorce." Hissing the harsh "s" sound out at her.
