Awesome / Civilian Pianist

Go To

  • A major spoiler, but nonetheless. Tomoko was able to save Sakumo. Even when she was only a civilian, just a pianist, she collaborated with her family in a way so that they could reach out to him in what could've been the Darkest Hour, preventing his suicide and allowing the White Fang to reconcile with Kakashi.
  • How the ninja react to Tomoko's strangling by the drunk man in Chapter 18. Kakashi solidifies the Moment of Awesome right there.
    Kakashi: "LET HER GO!"
    • Also, the reveal of Judai's powers. NEVER cross a Papa Wolf.
Judai: "Hey Minato, you take your team and Tomoko-chan back into the house. I need to take out this trash for ruining the day and harming my daughter."
  • The entire fight in Chapter 32. The fitting title of Silhouette only covers the Tip Of The Iceberg of the Awesome that happens here. Satoru has finally gone too far, and it results in Team Minato going against him in an all-out fight. Even with Satoru fighting at his best, the team still take him down with coordinated teamwork and trust in one another. They even finish him off with the final attack taken straight from the Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 game!
  • Judai is able to show how powerful he is when testing Team Minato on a three-on-one fight in Chapter 42. Even after being retired for 13 years, he still has the skills. Heck, he gave them an hour time limit to try wounding him. Team Minato doesn't even last 30 minutes. Hisako's reaction sells it:
Hisako: "All that in TEN MINUTES?!"
  • Chapter 43: Considering this is the start of Kannabi Bridge, the chapter ends with Team Kakashi narrowly avoiding the ninja that originally kidnapped Rin in canon due to Kakashi's analysis and observations of the environment. The changes in the timeline are really evident here.
  • Chapter 44: The end of Kannabi brings quite a few moments:
    • Despite losing his left eye to Taiseki like in canon, Kakashi is able to keep the pain back long enough to deal the killing blow.
    • Also covered in the Tearjerker section, Obito is able to kill Kakko, the ninja who originally put his canon self under a rock, with some quick thinking.
