asdfmovie primarily roots itself in comedy, but when the situation calls for it, the skits can escalate from gut-busting to awe-inspiring.
- Mixing the Mine Turtle song with lines from previous asdfmovie skits and actually making it sound good.
- In the first movie:Guy: Die, potato!
Potato: Nooooo! (squish)- But in the second movie:
- In the third movie:Guy: Die, potato!
Potato: Nooooo!
I Like Trains Kid: I like trains.
Guy: Oh, no no no, wait- (hit by train)
- From the fifth movie, literally turning a threat of violence around:Guy: I'm gonna punch you in the face!
Other Guy: But it's opposite day.
Guy: Oh noooo! (punches himself in the face) - Mine Turtle not only defeats the aliens (without exploding, by all accounts), but he then stole their tech and built a time machine.
- From the asdfmovie6... "EVERYBODY DO THE FLOP!" (whump)
- After a long absence, the I Like Trains Kid finally returns in asdfmovie9 (granted it's a voice-only cameo, but still).
- On August 14, 2019, TomSka announced his upcoming asdfmovie-themed card game
, Muffin Time. In less than 12 hours, the game's Kickstarter had already made over twelve times its goal and counting. If that's not a loyal, dedicated fanbase, nothing is. - The song REAL MAN has quite a few of these for the title character:
- Successfully escaped a slaughterhouse using the skateboard that the kid skateboarding through a minefield was using. This includes bouncing from exploding mine to exploding mine.
- After showing themselves an amateur at skateboards at first, they learn how to do it, and successfully enter a skateboarding competition, making it all the way to the finals.
- When Real Man is sitting in the back of the van going back to the slaughterhouse (after they were sabotaged), The Beep Beep Sheep produces Real Man's fixed skateboard. Then, they use a Mine Turtle to blow the back doors of the van, allowing everyone inside to escape.
