Animation: Przygody Gapiszona
Przygody Gapiszona (Scatterbrain's Adventures) is a 1964 Polish children's series of stop-motion animated shorts, based on a comic book character drawn by Bohdan Butenko. Gapiszon (Scatterbrain) is a young boy dressed in a characteristic hat and striped shirt who is ambitious and eager to please, but not very bright. While each episode has him typically getting himself (or others) into trouble, everything always ends well.

The series features the following tropes:

  • The Ditz: Most humor comes from Gapiszon's silliness.
  • The Full Name Adventures
  • Prolonged Prologue: About one fifth of each episode is taken up by the intro, which always shows the animator slowly cutting Gapiszon out of paper and arranging his body.
  • Stop Motion: With paper cutouts. This makes for an unusual animation style.
