Analysis: Peter Chimaera
I think DIGIMON SAVEZ THE WROLD!!!11 is a Luddite allegory.

Think about it: The "Evil Scintist" and the "Machine that could destory the wrold" represent modern science and the scientific establishment, who are out of control and seek to perform dangerous experiments in the name of scientific progress, regardless of the potential consequences.

Digimon represents the Luddite hero, who "savez the wrold" by bringing down the scintist. However it turns out that "it was too late just like the scintist said" and science has already done so much damage to the planet (climate change, pollution, etc.) that even if it were stopped today, the road would still be destroyed.

Or I'm drunk. Either could be true.
