Go To

Hello again, and welcome to my LP. Last time, I saved Fluttershy, who is now resting in Thamaresha. I also found Sweetie Bell after defeating a monster hiding in a painting, and Lauren Faust. Now, I'm going to... Hold on...

... I have no idea where to go next... I have no good leads on where anyone else is. Hmm, Perhaps a list of what I know would be helpful.

Party members with clues to their location:

Twilight is in Ponyville, but is not willing to abandon the children there. I have no idea how to convince her to leave them.

Fluttershy is resting in Thamaresha. She should recover eventually.

Applebloom is off hunting a special treasure, so she will likely be deep inside a dungeon somewhere.

I also happen to know that there is one more new party member to collect, and I need Scootaloo to get it. No idea what that party member is, or where to find it though. Nor do I know where Scootaloo is.

Places with stuff to do:

Sweet Apple Castle was mentioned to have demons appear when you sleep. It may not be true, but it's something to check out.

I should probably head back to Neighshe at some point. It was basically the home town for the game in the first half. Saying that, I should go to all towns again at some point, but Neighshe is a priority.

I should go back to the Cloudesseum at some point as well. I remember being told that someone there was looking for the weapon 'Angel', which I have in my possession.

Hmm, I really don't know much about what to do next, do I? I have no clear leads to any party members now.

Actually, since I'm near it, I could go to the Opera house, to see what is in there.

Hmm, the receptionist just screams for help when we talk to her, and tells us to talk to the Impresario. That does not sound good.

OK, I find him. Apparently, a Dragon has taken over the stage. He just absorbs all spells cast at him.

Hmm, I rather not face a dragon yet. Not until I have all the party members, anyway.

Now what? Perhaps Neighshe? I should see how that town is doing. Perhaps gain some leads to party members, or find them there. If they would be anywhere, it would be there.

As I enter, a Pickpocket walks towards us, and says that there is nothing left in the town, except one pony, and a lock with only a master treasure hunter could pick.

Neighshe is deserted it turns out... I know all the guards were at Staliongrad when the Empire betrayed me, but what about the townsfolk Did they flee? Or die?

The place is now home to Random encounters. Looks like I'm not getting any leads after all. The lone pony the pickpocket mentioned could be a party member though.

Ah, All the shops are locked up. I can't enter them.

Well, there is nothing here now. Hmm, What about the Mines?

Ah, In the Scootaloo cave, I spy a lone Scootaloo. Is it my Scootaloo? Yep! She is happy to see me. After dancing a bit, she mentions that there is another Pony in the caves, who had been checking on her ever since everyone else... left. Scootaloo wishes for me to find her. I presume this pony is the last party member then? Scootaloo heads to the airship. I get Luna to warp me, as I need Scoot to get the Party member, If I remember right. I drop Dash for Scoot, and equip her up. Well, back into the caves!

Oh, Nice! I got the last Scootaloo dance! See, I ended up in that area where I protected the esper from the empire, and that place is completely snow covered, so I got the snow dance there.

A dragon? Lets avoid it...

...

I ran into it by accident... Oh boy...

It quickly kills Pinkie. I knows a move called revenge it seems, which lets him counter attack for alot of damage. As in, OHKO levels of damage.

Ah, it has Wall... It even casts its magic onto itself to reflect it, So I can't just use wall rings. (Wall can't reflect an already reflected attack)

Christ, Almost all it's moves can OHKO my party. Luckily, It seems Trixie actually Absorbs Ice. I equipped her with an Ice shield. That was a wise choice, as it turns out. The only problem is the wall that he has... Hmm, does Trixie have Wall herself?

It doesn't matter, She got frozen. Then the dragon just shattered her, Killing her.

Only Luna is left now, With very low HP... Well, Not anymore. I'm dead. You know, I was wondering if my fear of these dragons was misplaced. I guess not. He slaughtered me! I didn't even dare to Scan Him to look at his HP. I have a feeling I will not like the answer... Luckily, I saved after I got Scootaloo.

Well, back to where I was. I avoid the dragon this time.

Ah, the esper trapped in ice. Wait, what? Its attacking? Boss fight!

Well, It's weak to fire, and it uses Ice magic, with Trixie just absorbs. This is actually easy, though Physical attacks do almost nothing.

He keeps freezing people. I can fix that with casting fire magic, but it's a pain to do, and it hurts them.

He already dead? I don't know his HP, but it seems low for a boss.

Wait, I didn't kill him, I just melted the ice. I freed the esper!

The esper notices that we possess Magicite. He senses war and destruction, and asks if that stupid war actually lasted 1000 years. He senses that we wish to stop this madness, and then says 'Lets see if you are worthy!' He turns into Magicite, and gives himself to us.

A bit of the cliff collapses. Hmm...

Anyway, what does this Magicite teach me? Level 3 Ice, Fire, And Bolt! At only a 1x rate though, which means I need 100 magic points to get them...

Well, It looks like I can jump down that collapsed part of the cliff. So I do. It leads into more caves.

Ah, Pit trap! I fall down a floor. Hmm, I need to be careful in here.

Heh, I found a switch. I flipped it, and a pit opened beneath me, sending me to a place I've already been.

Another switch? OK then... Yep, another Pit opens, This one sends me somewhere new though. This room contains a book, and a bone idol. The book is actually addressed to Scootaloo, saying that she has finally found friends of her own, so the book writer has taken it's leave. The writer has taught her all she can about being a Pegasus Knight. If she Sees Princess Luna, tell her to meet the writer where the mountains meet the sky... Signed D.

D? Would could that be... Derpy? Daring Do?... And where is the place where the mountains meet the sky?

Well, the bone idol next. It has Magicite in the Eye socket! I remove it, and a shuddering sound happens. Ah well, I walk though a door, and It leads me to a hole in the cliff, which I fall down. I'm back in Neighshe.

Anyway, the new Magicite appears to teach strong magic attacks, but very slowly. (One at x3 rate, 2 at x1 rate)

So, next up, I need to get Luna to the place where the mountains meet the sky.

...

I have no idea where that is.

Well, back to having no idea what to do then!

This is it for this part guys!

Until next time. ^_^

That place is the cliffside at the island from the very start of the World of Ruin.

D is on a mountain at the north end of the Isolated Island, the one with the scene you skipped over.

The trigger for getting Fluttershy to recover is stepping on certain squares in Thamaresa a few times. One of them is at the entrance to town, so just leaving and entering should be enough to trigger it. Do this before betting the Angel at the colosseum, or else you could screw yourself over.

Also, shouldn't you check out the Cultist's Tower at some point...?
