Chapter 2: This is how trainers should normally get their Pokémon

Now, the screen fades to black, SUMMER in a nice reddish tint appears, and up comes a bird's eye shot of Nuvema Town.

GAME FREAK PRESENTS

POKÉMON White Version

Juniper walks straight into my house without any pause to indicate a knock or what not. It could be my mom was prepared for her arrival, but chances are, we don't lock our doors in the etiquette of the Pokémon World. She leaves some 3 seconds later.

Cheren: Yellow! I heard from Professor Juniper. We can have a Pokémon?
Normally I wouldn't say anything to that, but I just have to comment that she was in this very household but a paltry 5 seconds prior. You could've asked her instead.
Cheren: ... ...
Oops, now I hurt his feelings, I guess.
Cheren: What's keeping Bianca?
Okay, then. Nevermind.

Bianca comes up to my room.

Bianca: Am I a little late again? So-oooo-orry!
Your rival back in Diamond, Pearl and Platinum would make a fortune off of this one.
Cheren: Bianca...I've known for ten years that you have no sense of time, but...seriously...Today's the day we can get a Pokémon from Professor Juniper!
Bianca: I know. Sorry, Yellow. Sorry, Cheren. So where are the Pokémon?
My guess would have to be on the Wii that's in the back of the room, but that's realistic talk. For a more sensible answer, I'd say on the table.
Bianca: They were delivered to Yellow's house, so Yellow get's first pick.
Cheren: Naturally.
Aww, thanks guys.

Everyone gathers in front of the large purple box on the table in the front of the room.

Cheren: The Pokémon are waiting for us inside that gift box. Okay, Yellow, you go first and take a peek at the gift box. I want to meet the Pokémon right now!
Alright, alright. Hold your horses, Cheren.

Now amongst the choices, for those of you who haven't played this version or Pokémon Black Version before, there are:

Snivy The Grass Snake Pokémon Height: 2'00" (0.6 m) Weight: 17.9 lbs (8.1 kg)

Tepig The Fire Pig Pokémon Height: 1'08" (0.5 m) Weight: 21.8 lbs (9.9 kg)

Oshawott The Sea Otter Pokémon Height: 1'08" (0.5 m) Weight: 13 lbs (5.9 kg)

Aside from Oshawott, their species already tell you their types. You can figure out "Wotter's" by process of elimination. I chose Oshawott so as to make sure I don't end up with any significant advantages concerning typing when the big change happens. Now, the rest, I'll speed up so as not to clutter your screens with needless pre-battle expository banter.

You are challenged by PKMN Trainer Bianca!
So, within a minute of getting your Pokémon, you lose its Pokéball in your presumably currently empty bag. Well, I suppose you could have the necessities in there. Every girl needs her cosmetics and a brush or two before setting out into the world. I win, but just barely.

Cheren heals up both our Pokémon, and Bianca suggests that we duke it out now. Obviously, I cannot decline because I lack a voice.

You are challenged by PKMN Trainer Cheren!
I was so close to losing this battle, but for some reason, instead of finishing me off, he decides to Leer for 2 turns, handing me the victory. I know I won, but it still feels like he did...

Cheren and Bianca head downstairs to apologize to my mother, as I take the obligatory look around my trashed room before doing the same. Mom says we should go see Professor Juniper to thank her for the Pokémon. Cheren goes off ahead to Professor Juniper's lab while Bianca heads home for something first. My mom decides to heal my party and then hands me the Cross Transciever!

Yellow obtained the Xtransciever!

So, I go out the door, and see Bianca head south(which is always the bottom of the screen). About to follow her, but WAIT!
