Guilds are a complex lot, it seems. When active, it seems like everything runs so smoothly. Cooperation is great for the most part, and everyone has fun. When inactive, everything grinds to a halt. Hardly anybody bothers to get on, instead just moving on to other things (most likely other games) while the remaining members just sit around twiddling their thumbs and doing their own things. The lifeblood of a guild depends entirely upon its members and their activity.
Today was declared a meeting day for Valhallan Knights. Basically, after I linked my last entry, it was decided that Saturdays could be used as days for the guild members to just meet up and play together.
I got to do a full tier-1 run with Aier and Medirocket. It was a very nice experience, and I got to tell them about the new Gun Puppy enemies that were included in the recent update. It was highly amusing to see them freaking out about the Jelly and Skelly enemies, as both were basically WTF-ing all the way. XDDDD
Also got to talking about guild activity, and volunteered along with Medirocket to be an officer. Don't know if things will be confirmed yet, though, but I'm being optimistic.
Looking back on everything that's been happening with Valhallan Knights, it just seems like people who were interested in this game and this guild have drifted away. Today, only 3 people (myself included) so far have bothered to show up for this meeting, but I'm hoping that this can be the start of something good and beneficial for the life of Valhallan Knights as a whole. Maybe things can change...
I certainly hope so. : )
