Medival Dreams -- Act III
=ACT 3, SCENCE 1=
[Victor, Kara, Carol and Sari are half way home with ruined library book. They had arrived in the same cleaning that had fight the skeletons in ACT 1, SCENE 3.]
Voice: No so fast, my little foes.
[Victor, Kara, Carol and Sari turn to see a ungly snake woman.]
Kara: Who in the Seven Bells are you?
Woman: My name is Torva. And you will suffered my family's revenge for everything that happen.
For this battle, all traits that Lady Nerva/Torva is going to be useds will be all 6s in traits. That should make for a fair fight – hopefully. In this case, I'm deciding that Torva will for all rounds in this scene since I roll a Continuty Error in the last commerical break. As for the others, they will random diced by rolls plus +2 (Based OOMPH). Victor: 2 + 2 = 4. Kara: 12 + 2 = 14. Carol: 10 + 2 = 12. Sari: 8 + 2 = 10. In order: Torva, Kara, Carol, Sari, and then Victor.
[Lady Nerva's snake body uncoils her tail and swings it around like a mad man.]
Lady Nerva's Tail Attack is a 6. As long as I don't get a 1, I'm treating it as a Area attack. 12. 12 + 8 = 20. Ouch. Let's find out who going out of the fight and who just getting a STB removed. Victor: Agility = 4 + 8 = 12. 20 – 12 = 8. 8 < 10 = - 1 STB. Kara: Agility = 5 + 6 = 11. 20 – 11 = 9 < 10 = STB. Carol: Magic Spell = 6 + 2 (Magic Staff Enhancer) + 2 = 10. 20 – 10 = 10. -1 STB Sari: Agility = 4 + 9 = 13. 20 – 13 = 7. 7 < 10 = -1 STB.
[The tail of Lady Nerva forces everyone back despite Carol decided on a magic shield spell.]
Carol: She's strong.
Kara: As they old saying goes, "revenge is a dish best served cold."
[Kara grabs her mace from backside]
Kara: 6 + 3 + 7 = 16. Torva: Agility = 6 + 3 = 8. 16 – 8 = 8. 8 < 12 = -1 STB for Torva.
[Kara's mace hits Torva in her the fat snake belly, sending her backwords into a tree. While Torva's down, Carol start do some magic chanting and hand-dancing with his magic staff.]
Carol: Magic = 6 + 2 (Enhancer from Magic Staff) + 8 = 16. Torva: Snake Skin = 6 + 10 = 16. 16 – 16 = 0. 0 < 12 = -1 Setback Token.
[Carol's magic summons rocks and hits Torva on her head. She tries to duck, but ends up landing with a twisted tail at the foot of Sari.
Sari: (whistes) This is almost too easy. Almost too easy.
I'm going to do a Creative Control with Sari. I'm assuming that the writers are running out of time in the episode – so they decide to give Sari's whip a little more power. The Game Master asks how much power. She decides that it
s up to 8 and now it's spiked. The Game Master approved off it and then says, "1 OOMPH, please and I will allow re-roll of 1 for this error trait only."''
[Sari takes out her whip from the hook on her leather belt.]
Sari's Errored Whip: 8 + 4 + 3 = 15. Torva: Agility = 6 + 3 = 8. 15 – 8 = 7. 7 <12 = STB.
[Sari's whip hits Torva's in the snake neck. The whip sending Torva flying, but she lands on her two feet. She looks angry.]
I decide that it' s time for a disappearing act for Torva. That's means it's Villain Escape. First let's find out if it's successful. 3. It's success.]
Torva: (evil sinister chanting noise is done).
Victor: What is the Eight River is she doing?
Kara: I hope it's not another attack.
[The spell has summon a large dark brown Eupore Dragon, which grabs Torva before Victor and his group can do anything.]
Torva: You haven't see the last of me. And that's both a treat and a promise!
Scene ends here. The group SETBACK Tokens get refreshed.
=ACT 3, SCENE 2=
[Victor, Carol, Kara, and Sari are at Queen Amizica's throne room. Queen Amizica is reading books]
Queen Amizica: Good job. Though I'm a little worried on what Torva and Lord Dark has plan for us.
Sari: Did Lady Nerva stated anything when you should her the proof?
Queen Amizica: Just a little displeased snort from her nose and then she stomped off.
