* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: There were several drawn out scenes of people we never met being attacked very slowly. One of them being a customer and a cashier in a movie store who get tackled whilst the customer looked through the zombie movies.
* DesignatedHero: The cast certainly aren't brave, they never attack, they make no plans, and aren't even very cool, basically the only reason we're rooting for them is because they're still alive. [[spoiler: Until the end atleast.]]
* FauxSymbolism: The second movie is intercut with random sudden images of dead animals, demons, and "spooky" imagery.
* NarmCharm: What keeps this movie from being so bad is the fact that it was basically a community project in which practically the whole town volunteered to take part completely for free, because they all liked the director's silly movies so much. We ended up with zombies stumbling around with their little zombie children, people trying not to crack up while they're being eaten, and people doing kung fu roundhouse kicks to zombie nuns.
* SerialNumbersFiledOff: The third movie seems to set aside the zombie apocalypse to [[DevelopingDoomedCharacters develop]] ''Film/TheBreakfastClub''.
* TookTheBadFilmSeriously: Everyone of the over 700 volunteers and the director said in interviews and bonus features that this was a serious movie, and that it is one of the best they'd ever seen. There's extra recordings on DVD showing them working on scenes and the director was making this all into very SeriousBusiness.
