* AudienceAlienatingPremise: The teenage demographic the show was aimed at [[AnimationAgeGhetto would never give Yogi the time of day regardless of what form he took]], and older fans would be put off by the show's attempts to be "hip." Its failure to appeal to any market caused the ''Yogi Bear'' franchise to go dormant for over a decade.
* BileFascination: Widely considered to be one of the absolute worst shows Creator/HannaBarbera ever produced. It's truly a sight to behold.
* GermansLoveDavidHasselhoff: While not exactly successful, in Mexico the show wasn't nearly as reviled as it was anywhere else, mainly because it was never sold as either being cool or hip, and as a result, it was considered just another cartoon for kids. It still has the occasional re-run, and it's one of the markets where Boomerang will apparently show it from time to time.
* IronWoobie: Huck, due to his usual mellow ChewToy persona (but punctuated by being a little puppy this time round), usually plays the team's ExtremeDoormat and takes some of the show's nastiest AmusingInjuries in stride. It helps that he arguably falls victim the least to the show's YoungerAndHipper gimmick.
* SoBadItsGood: The sheer absurdity of both the show and the thought of ''anyone'' taking this seriously is hilarious in and of itself.
* SoOkayItsAverage: There are some who can look past the whole 90s trend and 3D gimmicks it was going for and see it as just another romp with Creator/HannaBarbera's characters.
* SuspiciouslySimilarSong: The theme song is very similar to "Unskinny Bop" by Music/{{Poison}}, which was a chart hit a year before the show premiered.
* TookTheBadFilmSeriously: True, this show is SoBadItsGood, but there’s no denying that the voice cast (Creator/GregBurson, Creator/DonMessick, Creator/KathSoucie, Creator/RobPaulsen et al) were genuinely trying. All parties involved give some excellent performances despite what they had to work with.
* UnintentionalPeriodPiece: This show is a ''perfect'' example of how 1990s stereotypes and fads can date a series.
