* GoddamnedBats: Dave, Beezwax, and Dusty's special weapons. To elaborate, Dave's special sics three small flying saucers on you that are impossible to escape unless you're in one of the fastest vehicles. Beezwax's special works the same way, but with a swarm of mutant bees that will juggle your car in the air causing constant damage unless you can outrun them. Dusty's special sends a hawk after you that conjures up a spirit tornado, whirling your car in the air for several seconds.
* ScrappyMechanic: The Vigilantes' objectives consist of them having to protect a certain installation or landmark. This doesn't sound so hard ''on paper'', but the AI opponents [[TheComputerIsACheatingBastard can lock onto said objects with their weapons]], making certain weapons like the Mortar entirely unstoppable. Should you unintentionally get into combat with your opponent(s) right next to the landmark you must protect, you may as well go ahead and restart because they ''will'' destroy it.
* SoOkayItsAverage: After the dust has settled, this is the consensus from the fandom concerning V8 Arcade. The game it'll certainly get you a good fix if you want some V8 in a newer console but the lack of content, threadbare presentation and general sloppiness of the gameplay engine and mechanics makes it the weakest of the three with most fans suggesting it either for diehard V8 fans who want more or newbies looking for a more accessible jumping on point.
