* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic:
** [[https://youtu.be/INIWX8eobpA "Crossing The Wasteland"]], also known as "Go to the Wilderness".
** [[https://youtu.be/2RKnfOAI1A0 "Breakout"]], the song that accompanies the Blockout minigame, otherwise known as the outro theme and {{Leitmotif}} for WebVideo/ScottTheWoz's videos until 2022.
** [[https://youtu.be/KxI_8mxmHOo "Risk Your Life"]], an intense track used as a backing for the game's Block Defense minigame, although you'd be forgiven for thinking that it's used for boss fights or the like. [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nv5kd_mOEpI Here]] is an amazing rock cover of the song.
* DemonicSpiders:
** Knights. Only vulnerable from behind and deal lots of damage. One optional region (which is where Spelunker can be found) is ''chock-full'' of them in From Mode.
** The blue roper enemies, especially in From mode, where they are all over the place and in significant numbers. One hit from a blue roper ''[[ManaDrain completely drains your MP]] [[HPToOne and drops you down to a half-heart]]''. Ouch.
%%* GoddamnedBats: Magi, both forms of them.
* GoodBadBugs: In the dreaded [[ThatOneSidequest Dash Circuit]] minigame, you can pause the game and steer the character while in the pause screen. Even better, using the analog stick moves the character slightly in one direction, while the control pad turns them on the spot. Can be used to quickly build up your character's speed, as well as make minor steering adjustments. But it requires A LOT of pausing and unpausing, and so it's VERY easy to slip up. Whether it helps overall is debatable at best.
* ScrappyMechanic: Only certain enemies drop health. You'll be looking for them a lot.
* SidetrackedByTheGoldenSaucer: If you're not trying to beat all the minigames for their items, you can spend lots of time messing around in them. The character customization is loads of fun, too.
* SongAssociation: "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2RKnfOAI1A0 Breakout]]" is best known for being the former outro song for WebVideo/ScottTheWoz, being used until 2022.
* ThatOneAchievement:
** "All Swords Obtained!" Notable in that it requires saving up a lot of the game's white blocks (which has to be done all in one playthrough in the pre-patch version), getting some [[PermanentlyMissableContent easily missable]] items, and finishing ThatOneSidequest.
** "Spelunker Extraordinaire!" requires you to complete the entire game as a OneHitpointWonder.
%%* ThatOneBoss: The Dragon from the Flame Temple.
* ThatOneLevel: The Wind Temple, for being a MarathonLevel.
%%** The Flame Temple.
* ThatOneSidequest:
** EASILY the Dash Circuit Minigames, they were even made easier and the newer time limits (25 Seconds for the first one and 65 Seconds for the second one) are still very difficult.
** Getting every single Key Item to unlock the Moon Sword, made worse by the fact that some [[GuideDangIt key items become unobtainable after clearing certain dungeons]]. It's even harder in the Japanese version, where not only do you have to collect every Key Item, but you also have to beat both Dash Circuit Records, beat Blockout with no Misses, finish all 5 Tower Defense levels perfectly, and complete every single event in the game, most of which don't reward you, disappear after beating a dungeon, and have multiple steps that require you to revisit the person later on (Such as the Armored Core guy, if you forget to visit him between every dungeon you miss out on getting the Armored Core Key Item.)
