This outbreak results in nearly 150 deaths, including that of Holmes's friend Wiggins, just to [[ItsPersonal make it personal]]. When Holmes confronts the two, Land delivers a BreakingLecture, and taunts Holmes about Wiggins's death; Moran stabs Holmes with a syringe and leaves him to die.
