* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: Despite the series not shining as much as the recent predecessors, at least up to the first one-third, its soundtrack is definitely on par with others'.
** Gosei Great's theme song, "''Kōrin! Gosei Great''", is a ''must'' track.
** The battle theme: "''[[OverlyLongName Tatakae! Soshite katte wo e yo!]]''".
** Double that for [[DancingTheme Gotcha Goseiger]]. [[RearrangeTheSong Both versions]].
*** Correction; [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHCjHAY-HU0 all THREE versions]]
** Gosei Knight's [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39xDB6Kto2g theme]] has a really catchy tune too.
** Datas Hyper's theme song definitely counts. Bonus points for the [[Franchise/MetalHeroes nostalgic feeling you get by listening to it]]
* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: Exotic Brothers. They even outright say that [[ItOnlyWorksOnce it's a one-time thing.]]
* BizarroEpisode: Epic 7. Fits the trope to a T.
** Epic 23. [[spoiler:At least until the end of the episode, which sets up the Abare Headder.]]
* BrokenBase: How Western Sentai fans feel about ''Goseiger''. They either like it and the throwbacks to previous Sentai series (including ''Zyuranger'', ''Dairanger'' and ''Magiranger'') or they hate it because of bad characterization, uneven writing, [[MerchandiseDriven gimmicks and reliance on them]]. Things cooled down once Gosei Knight joined the cast, but the show is still subject to intense scrutiny.
** It doesn't help that it came after the highly acclaimed ''Series/SamuraiSentaiShinkenger'', and when the double whammy of ''Series/PowerRangersSamurai'' (the return of the series) and ''Series/KaizokuSentaiGokaiger'' (pirates, nostalgia and sheer awesomeness) hit in late 2010, they completely overshadowed ''Goseiger'' (Although in the case of ''Samurai'', it's because it's commonly seen as a terrible season).
** Points generally used in favor of the series include its awesome mecha fights and interesting villains, but offset by criticisms of its weak heroic cast and bad writing.
** With [[http://www.virtualpressoffice.com/publicsiteContentFileAccess?fileContentId=850069&fromOtherPageToDisableHistory=T&menuName=Events the confirmation]] that the series is to be adapted as the 20th anniversary series, ''Series/PowerRangersMegaforce'', instead of the much more desirable ''Gokaiger'', the criticisms are starting again. Though it was later eased somewhat when it was revealed that Megaforce would combine ''Goseiger'' and ''Gokaiger''.
* EarWorm: The ending theme "Gotcha* Goseiger".
--> ''Sora ni kagayaku'' Rainbow! (Rainbow!)\\
''Seigi no nakama shugo!'' (''Shugo!'')\\
''Chikyuu no'' Power ''Tensou!'' (''Tensou!'')\\
''Muteki no tsuyosa'' [[StealthPun Five Star]]! (Star!)
** And now it's [[RearrangeTheSong remixed]]. Double the EarWorm!
** Have you listened to the song Moune danced to in Epic 11?
* EnsembleDarkhorse: Brajira. Even to those who think of the series as dull.
** Gosei Knight also counts as well. The fact that he's voiced by Creator/KatsuyukiKonishi helps.
* FanNickname: [[http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/3491/56789864.jpg Hyper Change Headder]] = "[[SuperMarioBros Bullet Bill Headder]]"
* FanPreferredCouple: As of yet there's no OfficialCouple on the show, but some fans thought that Hyde and [[spoiler:Magis]] would have [[HoYay gone well together]] and were disappointed his appearance on the show was brief.
** [[ChildhoodFriendRomance Alata and Eri]] is also present as a fan couple, with a bit of [[BelligerentSexualTension Hyde and Moune]] in the mix, making these pairings ShipMates.
* HesJustHiding: Up until the very end, there was a strong group that believed [[spoiler:Magis]] would return at ''some'' point, looking for clues where clues were not.
* HilariousInHindsight: For the record, the word "Tensou" has nothing to do with [[http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/tenso this]].
** As noted above, Metal Alice's voice actor was previously Yoko... [[spoiler:while Metal Alice got StuffedInTheFridge, Yoko became known as [[FanNickname 'Doombitch']] for inflicting that fate on two guys in succession.]]
** Landick Gosei Great's FinishingMove has been described as a drill [[KamenRider Rider Kick]]. Then ''Series/KamenRiderFourze'' happened...
** Beside the death of [[http://fc09.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2013/145/a/0/gosei_green__old_scrap_version__by_andr_uril-d66ju3j.jpg Gosei Green]], one good guy actualy help japanese people using a suit like [[http://japandailypress.com/man-in-power-ranger-costume-becomes-hero-of-tokyo-subway-station-2234440/ Gosei Green in an Subway Station in Japan]].
* MagnificentBastard: Buredoran/[[spoiler:Brajira]].
* {{Narm}}
** The [[MonsterOfTheWeek MOTW's]] "ominous buzzing" sounds like farting at points.
** Kinggon and Makuin's Yuuma Buster sounds awesome... But then you see the posture that Makuin and Kinggon take to execute the move, [[FreudWasRight with Makuin pretty much bending over while Kinggon stands behind him]].
* NarmCharm: Gosei Knight's [[LargeHam hammy tendencies]] during his debut make him theatrically heroic.
* SoOkayItsAverage: The general consensus. Being bookended by ''Shinkenger'' and ''Gokaiger'' doesn't help.
* SpecialEffectsFailure: Buredoran of the Chupacabra's claws are clearly EVA or a similar material, given how impossibly flexible they are whenever he moves his hands.
* {{Squee}}: A blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment in Epic 21. Takeru ([[Series/SamuraiSentaiShinkenger not that one]], [[Series/HikariSentaiMaskman or the other one]]), the boy who ordered the birthday cake that Eri's rushing to complete, shows up with his baby sister Hiromi, saying that the cake's for her ''first birthday''. The camera pans over, and with uncanny timing Hiromi smiles into it. Cutest. Thing. Ever.[[note]]Of course it's probably just the baby's RealLife mommy [[EnforcedMethodActing making faces beside the camera]]...[[/note]]
* TearJerker: Epic 41. Poor Koro; it's like ''TheIronGiant'' all over again.
* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter: The Landick siblings are the most underutilized characters in the show. One of ''Goseiger's'' problems are a little bit too much focus on the Skicks, especially Eri (Gosei Knight as well for being the only character that has a story arc), which is carried over to ''[[PowerRangersMegaforce Megaforce]]''. [[TheLancer Agri]] in particular could play [[WhatYouAreInTheDark a similar role to]] [[GoGoSentaiBoukenger Bouken Black Masumi]] as hinted in the first episode but was scrapped later on.
** Fans will never know details about [[spoiler:Burajira's past aside from him betraying the other Gosei Angels. Is there a catalyst for his traitorous side? Is he a Skick Landick or Seaick?]] Since the series is over none of this will be answered.
* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: The origins of Knightic Power. It was never really explained. It would be really cool if it was related to a secret or ancient tribe. The same applies to Gosei Knight, who could perfectly be a lost ancient warrior from Gosei World instead of a Sentient Headder.
** During their battles against Warstar, Alata had personal battles against Dereputa. The same kind of happened between Agri and Kingugon during Yumajuu arc (but only towards the end of the arc, thus making it another exmaple of this). Why couldn't we have the same during Matrintis arc, but with Hyde? His water based powers and analytical strategic mind would be used in a great manner if put against a stronger Matrintis's general.
** The Gosei World is not shown (or at least details on the Angels' daily life or tribe rivalry) at all.
** More use of combined elemental attacks would be interesting, like Wind+Ice or Water+Land or Thunder+Water. Those could be used in several creative ways.
** Magis, who created a lot of fan speculation, ended up being not very important outside of a few episodes.
* {{Vanilla Protagonist}}s: The Goseigers themselves, with Alata as the most simplest of the team, despite the fact that he's the biggest {{Determinator}}.
* VindicatedByHistory: ''Goseiger'' is not that well-received by the fans, [[OvershadowedByAwesome especially since it was pitted together with]] ''Shinkenger'' and ''Gokaiger''. However once ''Go-Busters'', ''Kamen Rider Wizard'' and ''Megaforce'' came into the picture it received less hate compared to when it just started, making this trope a common cycle among Toku series in Japan. Getting an (arguably) better translation (by sub group Millionfold Curiosity) may have helped too.
