* AntiClimaxBoss:
** Inazuma Ginga [[spoiler:goes down just like any other MonsterOfTheWeek after being converted into Lightning Monger, rather than having a proper final fight against Sun Vulcan.]]
** In the final episode, [[spoiler:all it takes to defeat the Omnipotent God is just one hit from Chief Arashiyama with the Vulcan Stick.]]
* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic:
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=upTZr0tnH14 The opening theme.]] Sung by the master himself, Akira Kushida.
*** Memorable enough that it gets a ShoutOut in ''VideoGame/SuperRobotWarsAlpha 2'' as, of all things, the last boss's attack names. "Follow The Sun", for example.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pm7vV8Iyd7U Tatakau Nakama!]] is also a rather invigorating theme tune.
* CerebusRollercoaster: The second half of the season is much more light hearted than the first half.
* EvilIsCool:
** Queen Hedrian, who's just as [[EvilIsHammy hammy]], stylish and cool as she was in ''Series/DenshiSentaiDenziman''.
** Amazon Killer as well, being a tough DarkActionGirl who's always able to hold her own against Sun Vulcan whenever they face off.
* HarsherInHindsight: The first episode sees [=VulPanther=] trying to flirt with Misa. This, and [[KidAppealCharacter all his friendliness with children]], can be harder to watch knowing his actor was [[http://sailorotaku.blogspot.com/2013/06/vul-panthers-actor-asao-kobayashi.html arrested in 2013 for sexual assault of a minor]].
* HilariousInHindsight:
** In episode 43, the villains give away handheld computers to kids that will answer school questions, and thus people will not think for themselves and lose their brain cells. This basically is predicting the influence of smartphones many years later.
** The early concept for the series was for the Denzimen to return with new powers. The same thing done with ''Series/MightyMorphinPowerRangers'' and the [[Series/PowerRangersZeo rest]] [[Series/PowerRangersTurbo of]] [[Series/PowerRangersInSpace the Zordon Era]].
* MagnificentBitch: [[DarkActionGirl Amazon Killer]] is a Vader Clan field officer who joins [[NebulousEvilOrganisation Machine Empire Black Magma]] out of loyalty to Queen Hedrian. Upon her arrival on Earth, Amazon Killer formulates a plan that [[AllYourBaseAreBelongToUs successfully destroys Sun Vulcan's base]], and keeps Sun Vulcan on their toes throughout the series with both her cunning and [[OneWomanArmy strength in combat]]. When Führer Hell Saturn appoints Inazuma Ginga to be his new right-hand man, Amazon Killer conspires with Queen Hedrian to manipulate Inazuma Ginga into killing Hell Saturn in a duel. She then nominates Inazuma Ginga to succeed him, causing the Zero Girls to back Queen Hedrian to become Black Magma's new ruler so Inazuma Ginga won't get it. When the [[TheManBehindTheMan Omnipotent God]] intervenes to kill Hedrian and appoints Amazon Killer as its new PuppetQueen, Amazon Killer reveals the Omnipotent God's location to Sun Vulcan before choosing to [[BetterToDieThanBeKilled commit suicide]] rather than continue serving it.
* MemeticBadass: The Vulcan Stick, bizarrely enough. It tends to be portrayed by the fandom as an incredibly powerful weapon that can counter anything.
* MemeticMutation: The theme song. Expect to see "Eagle! Shark! Panther!" and "Follow the Sun!" pop up a lot wherever the series is discussed.
* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot:
** Despite the various references to ''Series/DenshiSentaiDenziman'', including a new member of the Vader Clan, the previous team never appears in the series.
** Misa's appearance as White Rose Mask in episode 29: while it could have led to Misa finally being able to fight alongside the heroes even though she lacks powers, instead she only managed to beat a few {{Mook}}s on her own, then get beaten easily by the MonsterOfTheWeek requiring the others to save her.
** Apparently it was known from the beginning that the original Red's contract wouldn't keep him there the whole season. Therefore, a more meaningful exit for the character than a sudden "oh by the way he's leaving and the guest star of the week is the new Red" in one episode's last fifteen seconds could have been had - especially when you consider how other sentai series tended to handle ''unexpected'' departures.
