* FandomEnragingMisconception: Describing Suda's games as "wacky" or "over-the-top" is a sure way to disappoint the few fans of his more niche and serious work.
* SugarWiki/FunnyMoments: At GDC 2012, he got in an interview with a hobo for 10 minutes until the hobo got dragged out by security.

* MisBlamed: Casual fans tend to act as if every game was created by him alone. Starting with ''VideoGame/NoMoreHeroes2DesperateStruggle'',[[note]]and ironically lasting until ''Travis Strikes Again'', his directorial re-debut[[/note]] Suda hasn't had a nearly as involved role, and his games became frequent victims of ExecutiveMeddling, leading to a decline of the more serious satire - and yet many people still act as though Suda went downhill, when in reality, he just hasn't been doing much in the first place. Even most non-fans' criticisms (poorly written or stereotypical female characters, unfunny sexual jokes, etc.) pretty much apply to games he didn't direct.
