* AntiClimaxBoss: [[spoiler: Gibnaf's uncle,]] who is unceremoniously and instantly killed from a distance after the party [[spoiler: make a deal with a Dracolich.]]
** [[spoiler: Said Dracolich is then defeated by the power of [[TalkingTheMonsterToDeath bureaucracy]].]]
* SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments:
** One between the DM and Drakkel. During the dance fight in Monty's club 'Boneshakers' during the first visit to Bonerton, Algernon is finally getting the chance to settle the score with his rival, Monty. The only issue is, Drakkel is ''constantly'' rolling 7s, limiting his ability to hit Monty. Monty can't really get a hit in edgewise, either, but given this is juxtaposed with Wolfshirt and Plaz ''dominating'' their fights with some Cloud Giants, it definitely leaves a bit of a sting in Drakkel's mouth. Then, when Drakkel rolls yet another 7, Syrg demands a reroll - and the reroll made allows Algernon to competently get a hit in on Monty that chunks his health considerably. Syrg, as a DM, had a history of being very permissive with what the party did, but was very much devoted to what a roll's results were - yet for once he decided to give Drakkel a little mercy when his epic fight with Monty just wasn't going anywhere. He tries to play it off as Drakkel 'cheating' by rolling nothing but 7s, but it's clear to the entire party he just wants to give Drakkel ''something'' after all the earlier flubs during what was supposed to be Algernon's big moment.
** The scene in Baphomet's dimension when Miriam and Minerelle have a moment together, where Minerelle cuts out all the crap and sarcasm and tells Miriam how she truly feels about herself. In Minerelle's opinion, she is a greedy, selfish coward..who did everything she could to help her friends and make herself shine in their eyes despite constant failure and her plans frequently backfiring. You can tell that Miriam is proud of Minerelle the entire time for being completely honest at last, especially when Minerelle decides that she isn't the kind of person who is comfortable talking about herself...only for the proverbial music to swell as Miriam gains her second wing from the strength of Minerelle's convictions and attempt to atone. It turned out that, all along, all Minerelle had to do was be completely straight with herself. Following this moment, Minerelle works harder to become a better person overall, cutting down on her health potion addiction and being friendlier with the party.
** When [[TableTopGame/TombOfHorrors Acererak]] was first mentioned, Minerelle was left cowering in ''fear''. By the time [[spoiler: Algeron's death]] put some determination in her, it's nice to see the transformation from her frightened state of mind to a more determined one. This also doubles as a funny moment, when the team beats down Acererak's last defenses:
--> '''Minerelle''': Fuck you, Acererak! We got you.
** For what is consistently a series of whacky adventures involving a team of people at each other's throats, the party really starts to bond more in Paragon tier, to the point that despite all his greed, Joey undertakes a quest that is perilous simply to save Miriam from what he believes to be his own blunder.
* TearJerker: The start of session 96. The ''players'' knew that Minerelle was dead, but the characters didn't know that Joey ''and'' Minerelle were dead. To see their reactions, (Plaz actually ''quitting'' that session in sheer sadness) is heartwrenching, especially when one considers just how much those two really kept the team going. It stings even more once someone realizes both of their more recent actions: only a few sessions ago, Minerelle and Miriam were starting to show signs of partnership, and even had a funny moment where a tearful Minerelle and a kind Miriam agreed to start poetry lessons...and before her untimely death, [[InspectorJavert Kod]] even had a moment where it accepted Minerelle, if only for a shockingly smart plan she had, despite their otherwise rocky relationship. Joey, before his last fight, basically told Algernon to get out of the cult's headquarters while he held back the cultists. It's implied [[YouShallNotPass that he fought his hardest just to give everyone time to escape into the white void.]] And then, to make the situation worse, the party reads a note from Baphomet where he taunts them and describes how Joey and Minerelle were equal to Kod as sacrifices and that their deaths appeased him somewhat. [[spoiler: Their deaths don't stick, but]] [[DarkestHour it's considered by everyone their lowest point.]]
