* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: ''Yoot Tower'' has a bunch of short [=QuickTime=] films for the theater. [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qq8o7gg87k4 See for yourself.]]
* DifficultySpike:
** The game gets substantially harder at three stars, though to be fair the player's given the most facilities at this level. Going from four stars to five isn't so hard but can take forever and offers you very few new things to build to help pass the time.
** There are two types of elevators that most people can use: the express elevator, which stops every 15 floors, and the standard elevator, which only ''goes'' 30 floors. This means it's easiest to get to three stars while sticking to 30 above-ground floors. But while you can fill up another 15-30 floors easily with all the cool stuff you get at three stars, after that, building the rest of the tower can become very tedious.
* DisappointingLastLevel: Due to there only being a couple of new things to build (both of them one-off items), four-star towers onwards suffer from this.
* ItsTheSameNowItSucks: The popular opinion of ''Yoot Tower''.
* ScrappyMechanic: A few facilities cannot be removed once placed (metro station, housekeeping, security) This can be very, very annoying if you misplace something.
** To move from three stars to four stars, you must have a VIP visit a hotel suite and rate it well. Two issues:
*** You cannot control the timing of when this happens, unlike meeting other requirements.
*** To keep hotel rooms clean, you must build housekeeping, which cannot be deleted. If you do not wish to use hotel rooms, this means either permanently using up space in the tower, or building and destroying suites until the requirement is met, which can be expensive.
** Many facilities have {{Arbitrary Headcount Limit}}s. Some of the more annoying limits are to elevators (only 24 shafts, all types added together), and stairs/escelators (64, total of both).
