* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: Lots of it. ''Infidel Art'', ''Ghastly Funeral Theatre'', ''Hail Horror Hail'', ''Scenario IV'', ''Imaginary Sonicscape'', ''Hangman's Hymn'', and ''In Somniphobia'' are particularly recommended, but you basically can't go wrong with any of their core discography.
* CompleteMonster: In "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LdV065QlYTA In the Mind of a Lunatic]]", the titular [[AxCrazy lunatic]] is UsefulNotes/JackTheRipper himself. He has been "[[SerialKiller killing off the corner whores]]", bringing "[[CruelAndUnusualDeath a scene of gore]]". He manages to blend into the crowd, with London having no idea who he is. Eventually, "the killings ended but the case was never solved...It's a mystery that's lasting 'till this very day."
* GeniusBonus: The Chopin snippet in "Requiem - Nostalgia" qualifies. The excerpts from Mozart's Requiem in D Minor on ''Hangman's Hymn'' do as well. For that matter, so do the lyrical references to works like ''Theatre/OedipusRex'' and ''Literature/ParadiseLost''.
* MemeticMutation: "Metal is something cool", which is basically their reaction to VisualKei. They never explicitly loathe the scene, however.
* ViewerGenderConfusion: A listener could be excused for thinking Dr. Mikannibal's shrieks were performed by a man. They're actually lower-pitched than Mirai's a lot of the time!
