* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: "In a bizarre incident, [Jeremy] Kyle's show was cut short one evening when three monsters burst into the studio and pissed on him."
* BrokenBase: The "Poetry of Tim Key" segments. Some people find it funny, other people find it tedious and awkward.
* SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments:
** Charlie's tribute to [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAftt3UnzoI Oliver Postgate]].
---> All of the ''Smallfilms'' shows radiate a gentle and natural warmth. Watching them feels like snuggling up in front of a fireplace, listening to a kindly uncle reading a bedtime story. [...] Postgate's voice - sometimes soothing, sometimes playful - was as modest and charming as everything else in the programmes. There's almost a hypnotic quality. Your consciousness seems to alter slightly the moment he starts to speak. [...] And it's probably only now that he's gone that we'll truly appreciate the perfectly-formed little gifts that he left for us.
** On a similar note, Creator/MarkGatiss paid tribute to Creator/NigelKneale.
** Any time Charlie breaks character or [[{{Corpsing}} corpses]] can be this, because it shows that despite Charlie's onscreen cynical CausticCritic persona, deep down he's actually a very lovable, sweet guy, and the staffers he is often seen bullying in almost every episode really do enjoy working with him. It also quite often doubles as SugarWiki/{{Funny Moment|s}}.
* HilariousInHindsight: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VnryzASF430&list=PL85FC2B3C1B1C4F7B The segment]] on TV's {{manipulative editing}} and flat-out lies included Konnie Huq's apology for ''Series/BluePeter'' faking a phone-in quiz, which Charlie describes as "the sexiest apology ever", long before the two were married.
* RetroactiveRecognition: Luke Westaway had an appearance on the show, years before he joined [[WebVideo/OutsideXbox OutsideXtra]].
* UnintentionalPeriodPiece: The series is a "programme all about television", but as it was in the late 2000s. As well as reviews of specific shows that were airing at the time, most of which have been forgotten by history, it's a good time capsule of television as it was after the boom of reality TV and the launch of multichannels but before streaming services gained popularity.
* TheWoobie: The show's crew don't really have the best jobs in the world, especially as they become extras during some of the segments. The woobiest of the bunch is researcher Mike Bradley, who has been forced to [[ItMakesSenseInContext jump around in a leotard with "BBC" on it]] and [[AnthropomorphicPersonification dress up as a TV show and have shit rubbed in his face]].
** Forced is a strong word. It's perfectly possible that these people enjoyed their comedic appearances on the show, which must have been an interesting break from their typical job.
