* AlternateCharacterInterpretation: Was in Ice Cream an outright villainous act... or was it borne out of frustration over the Robot ?

* EvenBetterSequel:
** While Robot Wants Kitty is a well-regarded Flash Metroidvania title, Robot Wants Puppy took the concept up to eleven, adding a much-larger stage, an entirely-new assortment of enemy types, Easter Eggs and secrets and began the long-running streak of using animals as support helpers.
** Invoked with the creator's commentary on Robot Wants Ice Cream in the UpdatedRerelease. He states that despite intending it as a GrandFinale for the series, the amount of praise the game received from fans convinced him to not only create the compilation, but a following game (For Justice).
* SugarWiki/MostWonderfulSound:
** The explosions made in large structures while using bombs in Fishy and Y. Lampshaded in the former when (after destroying a large cluster of blocks in the Supply Cabinet), you can get an achievement that states "an explosion is its own reward".
** Depending on what map variation and Mutator is in use, it's possible to kill an enemy or boss and hear gold, data files and sprinkles fly out of them, with noises and images akin to confetti.

* WhatDoYouMeanItsNotPolitical: Justice, released in mid-2019, deals with the Robot attempting to free a collection of aliens who have been trapped (some in cages) and being used as a feeding source by "Emperor Tronk", whose NPC is defeated after knocking his toupee off and beating him several times, after you find him sequestered away at the top of a white tower. Crosses into AuthorTract if the player views the "History" document that can be unlocked, which states that the game was inspired by the creator's proximity to "concentration camps" set along the border of his own country, and that the plot of the game is an analogue to current events.
* TheWoobie: Robot. He just wants a friend.
