* EthnicScrappy: Baba Looey hovers near the borders of this, but does not seem a particularly offensive example -- perhaps because he is obviously so much smarter than the *ahem* "white" horse Quick Draw.
* HilariousInHindsight: It's hard to watch ''Anime/{{FLCL}}'' with its rampant use of guitars as blunt weapons and not think "EL KABONG!" at least once.
* HoYay: It's probably nothing more than narcissism, but Quick Draw and his CriminalDoppelganger, Horse-Face Harry, will refer to each other as handsome or good-looking.
* PeripheryDemographic: When it premiered in 1959, the show was very popular amongst grown-ups as well as with kids. Same thing with ''WesternAnimation/TheHuckleberryHoundShow'' the year before that.
* {{Woolseyism}}: The Latin American dub made this show very popular among Spanish speakers. Among other things, it gives Baba Looey, known there as Pepe Trueno, a heavy Mexico City accent, and gives Quick Draw, known as Tiro Loco, an American accent... until their voices [[TheOtherDarrin were changed]] for the later Quick Draw cartoons. In Spanish. Much funnier than the native English version.
