* CultClassic: One of the few Valiant comics from the Creator/{{Acclaim}} era that still has a devoted fanbase, and one of the few of their original Valiant comics to be included in the 2012 reboot.
* CrossesTheLineTwice: And crosses it again for good measure. For example the n-word is censored by having it written as "noogie". Cue poor Quantum getting harassed by a bunch of homeless people calling him a dirty noogie.
* EnsembleDarkhorse: Vincent the goat.
* JerkassWoobie: Quantum and Woody are an egotist and a lazy {{Jerkass}} respectively, but their backstory shows just how much shit they went through to end up this way. Add to this their general ButtMonkey status and you've got some truly pitiable characters.
* TooGoodToLast: The original series got CutShort at 22 issues, leaving the story dead in the middle of a great revival arc.
